A Girl Like Amanda. Betrayed. Season 3. Episode 1. Continued from the last season. The van drove into a secluded storey  building. "Is this it?" Amanda asked looking over the building. "Yes, this is it." Maureen confirmed. "Alright me and Taofeeq will go in." She said taking a handgun and cocks it. If Michael's killer is here then Amanda knows there would be gun fight. And she's not ready to hold back for any reason. She couldn't think of what she will find inside but she is hoping she finds answers. "I can't stay here Amy, Mike's was my friend too, so if your going in there, then am coming too and don't try to change my mind Amy cause you know am stubborn and nothing you'll say would change it." She takes a rifle. "So what are we waiting for?" She added opening the door of the van. Amanda looks at Taofeeq "she's stubborn and I love her for it." She follows behind. "I just hope you girls know what you're doing." Taofeeq mutters before following them. *** She pushes the door slowly and enters inside quickly. "Where's his exact location?" Amanda asked leading the way. "Up ahead." Came the reply. "I see two doors, maybe they're connected. You both should flank." She'd only taken few steps when she heard a very familiar voice in a room. The voice was speaking with someone. "Now you've sent that video to her now, she will do anything to fish you out." The other voice said. "Are you scared Bird? I thought you're a professional. Are you afraid of her.? The familiar voice said in a joking tone. "Am not but she has her reputation. Potiphar's a brain when it comes to warriors." Bird said dauntlessly. "Potiphar's a fool and that's why am going to kill him today." The voice laughs loudly. "Am a professional gunman and I thought Michael would be a problem for me but guess I was wrong." Bird added laughing. "Yes but where's the body?" The familiar voice asked Bird  who scuffs. "So the video's not enough evidence eh... C'mon Big Daddy, I thought you trust me by now. "Big Daddy?." Amanda thought she didn't hear well. Maureen and Taofeeq came out from the other room. "Their aren't connected Elektra.' Taofeeq, Amanda looks at Taofeeq and sighs loudly. Bird and the other knows they're here, cause when Taofeeq said that. They both kept shut. Amanda rushes in seeing only a shirtless guy seating on an arm chair  clapping his hand as he drinks a glass of water. "Where is he?" Amanda asked him pointing the gun at him. Maureen and Taofeeq surrounded him. "Who?" He says smiling. "Don't joke with me Bird, that's your name right, Bird." She thunders. "Yea, that's my name. Guess you were listening to our discussion. "So where is he?." She asked again. "Big Daddy? You guys just missed him a while ago." He said taking another glass of water giving Maureen and Taofeeq a puzzled look. "So where's the body?." Amanda asked him still pointing the gun at him. "Old Mike's?. Well I can't say." came the reply. "Big Daddy was here?." Taofeeq asked Amanda who only gave him a nodded answer. "Bird here was the one who killed Michael?." She said. "And apparently, they're planning to take out Godfather today." She added. "My Dad?." Maureen blurted  out. *** Big Daddy hearing Taofeeq's voice knew he had to execute his plans now. "I think your  girl is here." He whispered to Bird. Bird only smiled and sat down on the sofa. "I've been dying to see the present day Xena." He said as he watched Big Daddy go through the back door. As soon as he escaped from the building, he brings out his phone and dialed a number. "Viper, Potiphar dies today. Make sure he stays dead." He said and hung up. *** BACK IN LAGOS... Potiphar is restless that afternoon as he paces about. He is worried about his daughter and the disappearance of Taofeeq made him realize that his daughter must have manipulated him to go with him. He is a hard man but not to his daughter. He starts hearing voices outside of his house and he wondered what it was about. "Bruno!" He shouted his guard's name and a heavily built man came in holding a rifle. "Godfather you called me." He bowed. "Go check what the rumbling is all about." He ordered and Bruno bowed and went outside. A faint noise is heard and thud sound is made. Potiphar closes his eyes and when he felt his door open, not looking, he asked what the rumbling is all about but there weren't any reply and when he turned back, he saw Viper and three of his men pointing guns at him... A Girl Like Amanda. Betrayed. Season 3. Written by Jake Sam. Episode 2. "Dad pick up my call." Maureen agitated. She is restless and disturbed. Her father isn't safe and she is too far away from him and he wasn't picking his calls. She tried her father's head guard's number. "Relax Maureen, I don't think he's in danger yet." Taofeeq said trying to calm Maureen down. "He may be right though." Amanda added. 'Taofeeq call the guards that are with my dad." Taofeeq nodded and brought out his phone and dialed four guards number, four of them rang but none answered. "They ain't picking up. " he announced and Maureen gave out a loud screech. She points the gun at Bird who was all smiles. "Where is he now?. " she asked angrily and he scuffs. "Big Daddy? Probably on his way to Lagos. Hoping to see your father die...  A swift punch cut him short, he became angry and few seconds later he started smiling again. "Boy you hit like a lady man." He teased Taofeeq. "Shut up Bird. Keep shut or I'll pull this trigger and scatter your brains out on this very floor. " Amanda warns him. "You see Amanda, that's the funniest thing you ever said. You see am not alone. I allowed you guys tied me cause I ain't stupid. I allowed you guys to track me here on purpose cause my deal hasn't yet completed with big Daddy. I still have to kill you too Amanda and coming here was never a plan so be careful with the way you threaten me. Am Bird." Gunshots is heard outside and the trio ducks immediately. "What's that?" Taofeeq asked holding tightly to his rifle. A group of mercenaries starts appearing from all corners of the building. All wearing a mask and six in mumber. "What do do Amy?" "We fight back." She said and went forward, viewing all the movements. Zzz, a stray bullet almost hit her. Two masked men. Approaches her hideout. She shoots at them as they duck ahead. "Kelly flank them." Sims ordered. "Phil cover me." He added. "Hang in there boss. Sims shouted across  the hall way. And Bird smiled. Soon the squad are shooting randomly . "ah!" Taofeeq's voice is heard. He is hit by a bullet to his left ear. " He began bleeding. "Taofeeq are you okay." Amanda shouted at him. "Am okay," he said clutching his left ear. Two of the squad rounded Maureen  from behind. "Drop the gun." Kelly said and Maureen smiled. "Drop it or I'll shoot." He ordered again then she did the unthinkable. With a swift movement, she rolled and pulled her trigger getting a headshot as the second masked mercenary fell down, Kelly fired barely hitting her as she flew over a sofa. A Girl Like Amanda. Season 3. Betrayed. Episode 3. "Shit, we're fvcked." *** "Viper what is the meaning of this?." Potiphar asked as he sat back, not a ounce of fear in him. "Shhhh, Potiphar. Today's the last day on your planet earth. Let someone else rule the underworld." Came the reply. Potiphar closes his eyes and coughs a little. "Maybe you're right and that would be my Daughter." He said looking directly at him as he faces him. "You have a death wish. All of you." He added. "Really. Tell me something. Over the years I've been loyal and obedient to you Potiphar. But what did I get? Loving that little boy over me, over everyone here. You think you are invincible abi, don't worry. I'll take you to hell." "Wait! Before you pull that trigger, was it you?." "Was I what?" "Was it you that killed Michael?" Viper laughs a little and briefly puts his gun down. "No I wasn't. I just aided it." *** Six weeks ago. Michael wakes up, his phone was ringing and and he unwittingly grabs it from the bedside table . "Hello," "Michael please help, they're going to kill me." A trembling voice spoke out. "What's wrong?. " "Please come fast. I'll text you the address." The call ended and few seconds later, a message pops in. He immediately refresh himself and took his car keys and drove out of his safe zone. Driving into a secluded area, he sees the uncompleted building. He enters inside looks around. He brings out his phone and dialed the number that had called him earlier. "Am here, where are you?" He asks after the receiver picks it. "Am sorry Michael." The receiver said and hung up. Before realizing what was happening. 'Bang! Bang!' Two bullets have already hit his chest. He falls down on one kneel. Pain shoots through his whole body as he grimaced in pain. A masked man comes out holding a pistol, he is the one that had shot Michael. Michael's eyes was blurry now as he could no longer see well as beads of sweat ran over his face. "Michael, I've heard about you alot. Glad to finally kill you." The man said laughing as two other guys comes out holding a rifle gun. "Who are you?." He struggles to say. "My name is Bird and you see my friend. You've been a real bad boy. I like you though. You have your reputation and that's why before I finally end you. I need to show the world your death." He said moving backwards. "How did you get her to betray me?." He ask, he couldn't breath freely anymore as he stands on all fours. "Oh silly, she was the that planned this. She hired me and my boys you see. You're trying to take what is hers so she needs you to go away. Am just here to make sure it happens. A lady walks in majestically and Michael looks up, he couldn't believe it was really true. Maureen had betrayed him. "Kelly video this." Bird said as his right hand man brought out a camera and starts videoing him. Soon Big Daddy comes in, clapping his hand. Michael laughs and blood spurts out of his mouth. "Yakubu, so nice of you." He said now gasping for breath. "Pow!" Bird fires another bullet as the force pushes Michael down. *** The Mercenaries soon rounded them up and the trio had no choice to surrender. With their hands on the air. Bird starts clapping. "Nice Amanda. You guys just amaze me." Bird laughs. "Maureen c'mon put ya hands down love." He added and Amanda and Taofeeq gave a puzzled look at each other. Maureen drops her hand down and walks to Bird, they both kissed deeply and Amanda was perplexed. To be continued... __________ This Viper is different from the Viper that Big daddy killed in the first season. So it is a twisted story or what do you guys think?

A Girl Like Amanda. Season 3. Betrayed. Episode 4. "Maureen my darling." Bird said and this confuses Amanda more. "What's happening Maureen?." Taofeeq said giving Maureen a puzzled look. "Look Taofeeq, you're not stupid so don't be now." She answered him. "Why?" Was what Amanda could say. "Why you asked. You wanna know?" "Yes I think I do. Why would you betray me like this?." "Am my father's daughter yet he treats you like your special. Everyone I've ever loved. You stole them from me. You're the reason I lost my father's love. And you're still the reason why my brother is not here today." "I don't understand Maureen. You're brother's death isn't my fault. I was only trying to save him that night. I didn't kill him." She saidvefirwsively. "I don't believe you Amy. I really don't." "Suit yourself." She said resigning to her fate. Maureen brings out her gun and shot Taofeeq in the chest. "Noooo!" Amanda screamed and squats down holding the wounded part. Taofeeq felt dazed when the bullet hit him. He groans and coughs a little. He was in pain. His whole body was on fire, he knew he didn't have two minutes before he would lose consciousness. "Hang on, Taofeeq." Amanda added still trying to stop the bleeding. He didn't hear what she said. He just laid there trying to cling on to life, but that is impossible. "He loves Amy and I hate it when a guy loves you." Maureen's mocking voice is heard laughing. Taofeeq looked at Amanda and smiled, tears flow out of his eyes and he mutters "at least I die with you by my side' his body stiffens, his eyes slowly closing. He felt his breath leave him and he gave up. Amanda looks at Maureen and got angry immediately. With her hands tied, she stands up and rushed at her but she fell down when Maureen shoots her leg. She starts laughing at her and Bird. "You'll pay for this. I promise." She said hating Maureen totally. Pointing the gun to her head, Maureen looked at her and sized her up. "Am sorry," she found herself say. She placed her finger on the trigger, ready to pull the trigger when Michael slides into the room and shoots Phil and the other mercenary close to the door. Before the fourth man could pull his trigger, he had already dropped dead. He stand up and rushes to the third guy, stabbing him in the neck, he uses him as a shield as the second man fires at him. Michael unstraps the third man's handgun shoots the second man's head. Kelly ducks and shoots him but missed. Bird grabs an assault rifle and open fire at him. Losing balance, Michael falls down. he rolls immediately under a table. Kelly, Bird and Maureen shoots at him. Amanda crawls this towards one of the dead mercenary's body. The group didn't had their attention and the new guy obviously needed help as she sees him leap into a kitchen window and behind a counter. She didn't know it was Michael. The trio kept firing at him. Amanda unstraps a dagger from the corpse cuts her rope lose. Taking a Sprint, she dash towards Maureen, taking her by surprise. They both struggled. Bird turned to help Maureen when Michael came up with a kitchen knife throwing it at him when Kelly pushed him out of the way. Kelly kicked Amanda's rib and she fell off Maureen. He carries her to her feet and ran out of the apartment.. Bird followed immediately. Michael stands up and ran to Amanda who is still on the floor. "Amanda are you alright?." He asked. That was when she looked at him and became shocked. "Michael?" She asked and he smiled. She hugged him immediately. "I thought you were dead." "So did I?" *******

He said and both of them left the apartment. Taofeeq's lifeless body still lies there *** "Who are you calling?." Amanda asked as she saw Michael dialing a number. "Alexis." He said. "Alexis?." She said looking baffled as she remembered Victoria mentioned him. Then she thought of Victoria, it's been long she had called the doctor but she wouldn't want to think about that now. "Gunner." "Gunner?." "Yes, I told him to keep an eye out for you. When he told me you disappeared, I had to find you." So... What took you so long.?" "Easy young lady. You're hard to find. Gunner assisted me." "You've been alive yet you didn't send out a message to me?" "Am sorry. Wanted to protect you." "So what about the video?." "Yea I was shot. I just had a quick recovery." "Hmm, I see." She wanted to say something when Michael shushed her. "Alexis where are you?... Look you have to head back to Potiphar's house. He is about to be executed." The call ended. "So where to?" Amanda asked him. "What do you say we end this once and for all?." "Going back to Lagos Amy. Maureen and Big Daddy betrayed us. We have to end this." Amanda nodded and said "But I'll need a gun." *** Gunner was just driving out of a hospital where he had gone to see his crippled little brother when Michael's number came through. After the call, he stepped on his accelerator and sped up taking a fast turn almost knocking down a hawker. Few minutes later, he arrived at Potiphar's mansion. He parked outside the gate and takes out his handgun. Cocking it, he slowly walked up to the gate, pushing it a little. It gave way as he entered inside surveying his environment before proceeding to the front door. He froze on his step as he heard three gunshots coming from inside of the house. He decided to go through the back door of the house. Reaching there, he hears a faint noise. He stops on his tracks. Two gunmen were discussing with Viper (Son of the first Viper) "Let's leave here. Potiphar's dead." He said and the gangs exited the backyard. Gunner quickly run inside and see Potiphar in a pool of blood. Gunner was late. He walked over to him and squat down. - He sighs and wanted to stand up when a weak Potiphar grabs his left hand. "Follow them Gunner. They have the real Maureen. The one with us here is Evelyn. I... (Coughs out blood) had thought this wouldn't happen.... Warn.. Ama... Amanda that she is with Evelyn. Potiphar dies immediately. Gunner look down at the lifeless body of the most powerful drug lord in the city and the country as a whole. He dashes out of the house and was just in time to catch up with the men as they entered a red SUV parked across the road. He quickly reenters his car and slowly followed them behind...

Okay, I hadn't time to update this story but am doing it today because am currently working on a contract for my new and lets say upgraded story. Truth is that all my ideas for this story isn't much alive but am going to complete it this month (maybe) episode 6 will be uploaded today by 4pm prompt. Maybe I'll try posting an episode every two or three days because like I said, am working on something big. Lemme use this medium to apologize to all those faithful readers for wasting time to upload. A Girl Like Amanda. Season 3. Betrayed. Episode 6. He dashes out of the house and was just in time to catch up with the men as they entered a red SUV parked across the road. He quickly reenters his car and slowly followed them behind… Gunner slowly followed them behind as they continued driving towards mainland. Gunner took his phone and dialed Michael's number, sending the call, he puts his phone on loud speaker. The phone rang and it's answered almost immediately. "Where are you?" Michael asked. "Potiphar is dead, I wasn't there on time." Gunner had to say and he just still couldn't believe it. "Shìt!" Michael cursed out. "It's Amanda with you?" Gunner queried. "Yes, she's in the car with me." He replied. "Am here, what's up?" Amanda chipped in. "Before Potiphar died, he told me something." "What? Tell me." "First of all are you guys alone?" "Yea why?" "Good, Potiphar mentioned something about a Evelyn, she being Maureen's twin sister." Gunner said and the realization of it all shocked Amanda and Michael. After a few seconds of no response, Gunner spoke out again, "What is it?" "If Evelyn is back then Amanda needs to stay out of sight." Michael said surprising Gunner. Michael had once told him that Amanda is the fearless being he ever met so why does she need to stay out of sight?. "Bro, you lost me there." He said slowly. "Michael I won't hide from Evelyn." He said Amanda say trying to keep a calm voice. It was evident that there's a bit of fear in the way she spoke. "Michael who is this Evelyn. For all I've gathered so far is that she's Maureen evil twin. Is she dangerous?" "Alexis, she tried to kill me today if Michael hadn't shown up when he did. This is the third time she attempted to kill me." "Third time? Guess she's not a bad ass you guys tend to be scared of." "She killed her mom." "Woah! Now she's killed her dad, take it she's a psycho." "She is pretty dangerous, the underworld calls her 'Beautiful Death'. Where are you now though?" "Tailing the people that has Maureen." "Okay forward your coordinates to us, you'll need back up." Michael said. "Alright." The call dropped dead and Michael stepped on the accelerator. "How long do we get before we arrive at Lekki?" Amanda said out of the blue. "Forty five minutes tops." "Today, me and Evelyn's rivalry ends. She killed those closest to Mr because she taught I am responsible for her brother's death. Why was I blind the whole time. Evelyn was with me and I didn't even know, now Taofeeq is dead because of me." Amanda cried for the first time in her life, she felt stupid and insecure. "It's not your fault, okay?" Michael tried wiping away her tears. "No Mike, it's not. I took her to my family home, I introduced her to my family, my cousins, my aunts, my uncles and my grand mom. Now she could totally ruin my life if she decides to go after them. And I can't protect them, not now that we can't trust outsiders anymore. Not now that Potiphar is dead." She sounded depressed and Michael felt like doing nothing. She's scared and he understood very much. He did what he did (faking his death after being shot at) to protect Amanda and Victoria. "You've found them?" He asked her trying to get her trouble mind out of the scary thought. "Uh?" "Your family? You've found them?" "Yes and it's a long story." "Don't worry. Let's get Evelyn first then we could talk about how you found them. "I hope she doesn't kill her sister too." "She won't. "Maureen is the only living sibling she has, her brother is dead, her mother is dead and her father is dead. I don't think she would kill Maureen." "I just hope you are right Mike." Amanda sighs as she started to pray in her heart. **** Jidenna felt uneasy ever since the day Amanda left the village. He has been having this recurring nightmares where a gun is placed on Amanda's head and a feminine voice will speak in tears "Amanda I'm going to take away everything you ever loved and cherish as you took away my happiness." He said, not waiting for a reply, he started moving towards the front yard, carefully hiding in the shadows, not to be spotted out by anyone. Amanda followed behind him while Michael followed suit also. "Shall we knock?" Michael asked as soon as they got to the front door. "Be my guest." That was all Gunner could say as he gave way for Michael to pass through. Seeing the hesitation, Amanda swiftly and powerfully kicked down the door and walked in immediately, her gun leading the way, she was done waiting.
