Mombasa is a second largest city of Kenya after Nairobi although it is known us the city of partying and enjoyment. It is located on the coastal side of Kenya and it borders the Indian ocean. I have never gone there but i hear the climate and the beach attracts great people from different place of this world. I arrived at the bus station that evening and i was already seated in the back seat ready for the night journey. I was deep in thought that i didn't notice a pretty lady sitting beside me. We exchanged greetings although i was afraid of ladies because she might end up being my sister like Eve and Wamboi. The thought of these girls brought my mind back at my Beautiful wife, Mercy. I really loved the fluent Swahili people were talking not like in Nairobi where they talk like they are forcing you and the sheng' thing. We took a taxi and went straight to a small apartment. I loved the place. The girl was cool too cos she sacrificed her time for me. She left me in my one room apartment and i was alone again although she wrote her number on a paper before she left. I remembered i didn't have a Sim card although i still have my phone. I went to a post bank agent and checked my account it was reading Ksh.250,000. Wow this is a good amount. I withdrew some amount and bought some things which i will be using including a Sim card The following day I was feeling lonely inside my room i decided to visit the beach, Nyali Beach. I took a taxi and i arrived at the place. The sun was cool. Many people were enjoying themselves, i noticed many great people around both white and black and i heard that many celebrities come here to ejoy themselves. My celebrity crush has been always the Jamaican singer, Denyque, i wish could meet her. I was having good time but one thing made me sad. Almost all people were two two, couples. As i was strolling around I saw someone, yes there she was from Nigeria. Episode 13 I never imagined i can stand with this African singer from Nigeria, Yemi Yalade. I remember i once attended her live show back at KICC in Nairobi, but now there she was. I spend most of my time in a video hall and days were moving. It is almost a month since i started my new life in Mombasa. I had left with no money with me. The only friend i had was Roz although i never approached her for relationship stories and also i never told her about my past. We used to communicate but she was much busy with her job. I decided to hunt for any job for myself. Just to keep me going and i believed God will remember me. I was trying my best to avoid ladies. I woke up the following day which was a Monday and went straight to my new job place. I forgot to tell you that i got a job although it is hard and little money. We were five men and our main work was to load cements on trucks in a certain company, i was being paid five hundred shillings per day. I never gave up although i end my day very tired and i eat a lot because i use more energy loading many trucks which later supply to shops. I was growing thin although i remembered i am a university graduate but i didn't have my certificates with me cos when i left home i didn't take anything with me. Days were moving. I used to pray, i was humble and i never wronged any one. Three months had passed since i started my loading job. It was on a Saturday morning and i was in my room because we don't go to job on weekends. I heard a knock on my door and i knew only two people can visit me. Brian my new friend who is our supervisor or Roz who we rarely talk but she had just visited only once since she brought me here. I opened my door and i guessed right cos Roz was there smiling at me. You know you didn't have any qualifications on business company so i tried my best to talk to my boss and the director of the company although.. We watched a movie on her laptop till the evening came and she left although she promised to come pick me on Monday morning. She was driving a premio car. My Sunday was joyful as i spend my time with Brian playing games on his laptop and he congratulated me for my new job and left. I woke up early that Monday and prepared myself for my new job, i took my ID card and waited for Roz who later came at 7:40 and picked me to her company. The company was big it stores and supplies goods to the supper markets. I was taken to the manager's office and he directed me to a small office and told me to clean it cos it will be my office although my main job was to take the record of all goods that will be supplied in a day and send the results to his office. I was happy. Manager: i heard that Roz is your cousin? Me: Yeah and thanks once again for this job, I promise to do my job carefully and honestly. Manager: Welcome, if you need anything conduct the secretary enjoy your day Ben. I liked the manager the way he welcomed me and i cleaned my office till noon is when i had finished and i was playing with the office computer when the door opened and a young lady told me that the manager wants to see me in his office. She directed me and on the way she told me that her name is Chidinma, wow an African name. She was his secretary. I knocked on his door and opened as i entered. The manager welcomed me and i met two other people in his office, one was neatly dressed although with a serious look while the other was like his bodyguard although i wasn't sure. Episode 14 Manager: Have a seat please. Sir, this is the new guy we employed today, Roz's cousin. Director: Young man, this company needs serious employees, those who sacrifice their time for the benefits of the company, and one mistake will suck you and even jail you. We don't want theft cases. He left and at least i felt relieved a bit. I was feeling better. So this director is so wicked. I don't really like him. In my life no one has ever scolded me like he did. How dare he? I developed hatred for my director as days went on. I did my work perfectly and we became friends with the manager. I wasn't feeling any pain. I told the doctor and he was surprised by my health because everyone died because the building fell on the vehicle after it hit that building. I was surprised too. My legs and head had plasters around. They handed me my phone and told me Angel called them with my phone because i remember i forgot my phone at home. So this girl managed to save me again.
