*LADIES LISTEN UP*
I just heard some ladies discussing though I was
passing but I had to eavesdrop a little cos the story
was interesting, I got a line and finally left....
"Ladies, keep ignoring your messages on Facebook/
Whatsapp, you will soon bake and cook for your friends at their wedding". A lot of people laughed
including the group of gisters or should I call them
gossips...
Oh, I laughed too passed.
But my angle of humour was different.
I laughed at the original Mind that made the comment, and the ignorant population that will fall prey to that
mentality.
• For Crying out loud What is wrong with baking or
cooking at my friend's wedding? For Gods sake that's
a business and u make ur money.... Ladies thinking
anyway So friendship is now a competition of who achieves
what mile stones First?
So because am not married yet with my mates makes
me unqualified to cook or help out at my friend's
wedding?
So my Friends' weddings should be my food for thought?
• Dear Ladies, Married and Single, let's not be deceived
into thinking marriage is the ultimate goal for a
woman. Yes, marriage (to the right person) is great,
paradise on earth, but that's not the peak of your life.
There's more to you than being a 'Baby maker' or 'Wife'. Embrace your Queenship. Make your money it
will also help you in that marriage...
• Dear single ladies, Enjoy your spinsterhood, it is a
period in your life's journey, not a disease or a curse.
• If you're among the infamous population who look
down on women cos they are single, then I hope your life or marriage is worth looking up to.
• Ladies, never lower your standards cos of societal
or family pressure. Be your self, add value to yourself.
The right man will come.
• That my status reads 'Single' doesn't make it
synonymous to, 'Available to every D***, Tom and Harry, who says Hi, because who knows if he's my
last chance'.
• Have you guys ever taken time to think that some
ladies are actually not crazy about marriage, it could
be a decision, not a condition?
• Statistics have shown that 2/3rd of those who pressurize and mock single women are:
a) *A bunch of people who know nothing about
marriage*
b) *A committee of people who know nothing about
YOU*
c) *A group of people in the 'marriage enduring' committee looking for new members.*
Now young lady, the question is, what's the Real
reason you're about to say Yes to that Man.
Answer it and you're good to go.
As for me, I will just be here baking and sipping zobo
till it's my turn to cross leg and eat cake. Then I'll take a little break, come back and keep helping my friend's
bake and cook when duty calls.
*NOTE*: Be careful what seeds get sown in your mind.
Those little jokes can stir bitterness in you.
If your baking/cooking skills are great, don't let them
stop you. It is better to wait Long Than Marry Wrong.
If you don't like my analogy, that's fine, God wasn't
liberal enough to distribute evenly the gift of common
sense.(which is not even common)
