WELCOME TO THE NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE CORPS
The Management of the National Youth Service Corps congratulates all 2017 Batch 'B' stream 2 Corps Members on their successful induction/Swearing-in today as bonafide members of the Scheme.
We congratulate you on the successful completion of your various academic pursuits and subsequent mobilization for National Service.
The Orientation Course has been packaged to, among other things, introduce you to the objectives and programmes of the NYSC; prepare you for the challenges of the service year and post-service life; as well as acquaint you with your new socio-cultural environment.
You will find all camp activities not only exciting, but also rewarding. They include leadership lectures, entrepreneurial training, parade drills, Man 'O’ War training, sports, social and cultural activities, amongst others.
These activities are geared towards making you self-reliant, patriotic, disciplined, focused and responsible leaders.
Be sure you participate actively in the activities, comport yourselves always, cooperate with officials and obey all rules and regulations governing your stay in camp.
Management has put in place all necessary measures to ensure the safety and general welfare of all Corps members in the camps.
The Director-General, Brigadier General Suleiman Zakari Kazaure, wishes you a hitch-free Orientation Course and a fulfilling service year.
