We think of anger as one emotion but actually it's a catch all reaction for many other hidden feelings. Anger is extremely complex! The more intense emotions you carry, the more you look for reasons to be upset and guess what? What you are looking for, you will find. With the anger chip on your shoulder, you misinterpret neutral situations. When you keep on replaying unhappy memories, revenge and rage will consume you.

Things That Brings About Anger
1. Unfairness: We believe that we have been treated unfairly, we tell ourselves that we deserve more and we buy into this story that someone has wronged us.

2. Blame: We blame other people or external situations for having caused our loss, for taking advantage of us unfairly. The blame often reside in our heads as a product of our imagination, we also fail to see things from other people's perspective and we become selfish.

3. Loss: Sometimes we feel that we have lost something we have identify ourselves with e.g feelings, pride, money, job etc.

The interesting thing is that if there are two angry people unhappy with each other, both feel a sense of loss, unfairness, pain and the need to blame each other. They have this question in their heart "Who is right and Who is Wrong" The answer is this, both are right and both are wrong.

What Anger Can Cause
1. It clouds our judgment
2. We make irrational, regretful, unreasonable and hurtful decisions when angry.
3. It can lead to heart failure and high blood pressure
4. It pushes people away from us, scares them, makes them fight back or shut down.
5. It traps you, makes you lose yourself worth, respect and also dents your image.

Ways To Overcome Anger
1. Deal with your anger (James 1:19-20)
2. Replace your anger with different acts of kindness (Ephesians 4:31)
3. Face the real issue/truth
4. Consider and follow your positive thoughts

Anger makes us to lose the people who loves us the most. Nobody wants to be a close friend to you because you cant control your temper.
Anger breeds hatred
Learn to control your anger or it will control you.
