If this thief had known that his life would end
like this, he would have resisted the urge of
taking what did not belong to him.
According to an eye witness who spoke with
Tectono Business Review Aproko, the thief
successfully snatched the bag of a woman
who had just come out from one of the old
generation banks at gun point.
Before he could run to his colleague who was
waiting for him on a motor-cycle, a mobile
police man who saw him snatching the bag
ran after him and caught him.
He was stripped unclad and beaten to a pulp,
if not for the swift intervention of a popular
pastor who was passing through that road at
that point in time, he would have been burnt
alive.
He was later taken to Sabo Police Station. It
was later that Tectono Business Review
Aproko gathered that the thief died the
following day.
OUR UNRELIABLE APROKO reports that his
fellow thieving colleagues have been crying
and mourning his loss, claiming that he had a
kind heart and he could never hurt a fly,
though he could steal the wings off a
butterfly.
