A young thief no more than the age of 13 was
apprehended in Sapele, Delta State after
breaking into home of a woman who lives in
NNPC road, Okirighwe to steal a DVD player.
The boy was identified himself as Felix was
caught in the act but he wasn't alone, he said
accomplice bailed at the first time of danger,
leaving behind his young partner in crime.
The young boy claimed he was an orphan, that
he lost his parents at a younger age, so for
him to survive he had to commence to
hustling.
After beaten mercilessly by residents, he was
then handed over to Okirighwe police station.
OUR UNRELIABLE APROKO reports a good
Samaritan has advised the young criminal to
change his name to Oliver Twist so he can
have a happy ending in his life, since he is
just like the boy in the book who was an
orphan and pushed into crime.
