According to TMZ, the lawsuit filed by Mitsou whose real name is Monika Miczura, claimed that
Beyoncé, Jay Z » and producer Timbaland used a Roma folk song she recorded in 1995 for the first 13 seconds of the 'drunk
in love' » song. Mitsou claimed the Beyonce track used her song Bajba, Bajba Pelem by digitally altering her
voice with auto-tune. She also claimed in her lawsuit that
Beyoncé transformed her song about hopelessness to a song about sexual desires.

The lawsuit filed against Beyonce is seeking damages and also a court order prohibiting anyone
from playing the song with her voice.
The question however remains why did it take the Hungarian
performer an entire year to decide that Beyonce used her
voice on the popular song?
