Episode 1 Wisdom POV I was driving home from Charles' house where I went to play PS4 which is my best video game. I was speeding so fast on the highway, ignoring the signs indicating speed limit. I sped past cars, lorries and Dangote's trucks. Suddenly, the car swerved off the road into a bush, the hot afternoon became a cold winter night and the car stopped without hitting any tree. I glued myself to the driver's seat sweating profusely at what just happened. The earpiece in my ears which was playing R. Kelly - If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time stopped producing the sound, the engine stopped and lights went off. Then she appeared in front of my car, clothed with white apparel, her skin was white just like the cloth which has no blemish whatsoever. Ruth stood in front of my car, she was crying. Her tears didn't drop on the ground but vanished. I tried to shut my eyes but they didn't close, I tried to get up from the seat but couldn't. She walked to the side of the car and entered without opening the door. 'I will surely make it back to life and come back to you,' her voiced echoed and she disappeared into thin air. 'I didn't kill you, Ruth. I love you and you know it. Noooooo!' I screamed and woke up, sweating profusely like a labourer who just finished working in a scourging sun. A nightmare in a sunny afternoon? A bad omen! Charles: Wise man, what happened again? Wisdom: Ruth appeared again! I saw her again. Charles: Ruth is dead. She released two quick bullets into the chest of Ruth who fell down lifeless. Belina retrieved her bag and ran out of the house while Wisdom held Ruth who seemed dead to himself, crying. He knew no one would believe his story if he took her to the hospital because Ruth was dead. He dialed his friend's number and it rang but Charle's didn't pick. He kept calling him till it was picked up. Wisdom: (crying) Charles, I'm in trouble Female voice: Let me give him the phone. Charles: Wise man, what's up? Wisdom: Charles, Ruth is dead! Her corpse is in my room! Charles: What?! Dead? How? I'm coming right away. *about ten minutes later, Charles arrived* Charles: How did it happen? Who shot her? Wisdom: Belina did, Belina killed her. Charles: This girl is not breathing. A senator's daughter is lying dead in your room. Wisdom, you're a dead man too! @iphemloid story Wisdom: I know her dad doesn't play with her. I know he'll kill me. Charles: It's better we dump her. Wisdom: Charles, nooo! Ruth is not an animal! I can't do this to her. Charles: You will do it. Can't you see death is at your door. Do it and deny seeing her today. It was really painful as they took Ruth's dead body and threw it down the bridge. Wisdom watched as his girlfriend drown before Charles forced him into the car and drove away.

Charles: Wait o. There's problem. See this *returned the phone to him* ...her boyfriend, Akinyemi Wisdom remains the prime suspect and he is wanted... Wisdom: I am doomed! Wisdom's POV I knew it would be a matter of time before the police would reach my house so I begged Charles to leave immediately. I am ready to face it myself, he should suffer for what he knows nothing of. Charles left relunctantly. The thoughts of my mother cross my heart and I called her. I know she would have heard the news. Wisdom: I'm sorry, mom. Mom: I warned you, did I not? I told you not to have anything to do with a senator's daughter. Wisdom: No, mum... I loved her. They forced their way into the sitting room but found no one. They advanced to my room where I lay down helplessly. About five or seven of them rushed at me with their big black stick and started hitting me with it. Some were kicking me with their hard boot and blood started coming out from my head. Senator Danielle entered. Senator Danielle: I won't kill you because I am not heartless like you. You successful drugged, raped and attempted to kill my daughter. In the giant and scary hall, a muscular man was holding two wires which heads were naked plugged into the wall socket. Another was holding an iron plugged into another socket and the last man help a big metallic rod which he put in the burning coal. Tears ran down my cheeks as I was made to sit on a chair and tied. Episode 4 Belina's POV When I saw Wisdom in the interrogation hall, I was very sorry for him. He has really been tortured like a criminal to the point of death for an offense he knew nothing of but I had to lie against him to save myself. I really wish I could confess my sins but I don't want to go to jail. Let that be his punishment for breaking up with me. And for Ruth, she's in coma and could return to life anytime which would mean hell for me. Ruth mus not open that her eyes to see this world again. Ruth must die and Wisdom must stay alive. Charles' POV Though Wisdom told me to run to a far place but I couldn't, I stayed with my niece in the town instead. I couldn't leave him to suffer for an offense he didn't commit. I will do anything to clear my friend of the false accusation. If I had not advised him to let us dump her, Wisdom would never do it. I caused it and I regret it. The only help I can get is from Henry but he might not be that willing to help but firs let me check on Ruth. Henry's POV I received Charles' call and he explained everything to me. I know Wisdom cannot hurt Ruth, he loves her so much but it's good if Wisdom dies in jail for taking what belongs to me. Death is the only judgement I pray for him. If he's out of my way, Ruth will come to me but I will play along with Charles because of Ruth's safety. Ruth must no die, Wisdom must die! @iphemloid story. Belina and Henry were in a room discussing about recent happenings in their relationship world. Belina: Whether you like it or not, Ruth must die. I must kill her. Henry: You dare not try it. I'll make sure I protect her with my last blood. If anything happens to her, I'll kill Wisdom too and ruin you by revealing the truth to the police. Belina: Don't drag Wisdom into this, Henry. Henry: That shows that I really mean it. Belina: But Henry, if the girl wakes up, she would come for me. She will tell the world what I did. Henry: Let her wake up first, we'll know what to do about that. I can't watch my love die because of your stupid mistake. Belina: I'm scared. I shouldn't have shot her. I did it out of jealousy and anger. Henry: It's okay, everything will be fine. Belina: I hope so. Senator Anderson walked in and met his children in emotional discussion. He has been the one taking care of them since the death of his wife. Though he didn't re-marry but that doesn't stop him from adulterous acts. He is also envious of his friend's achievement in the world of politics. Senator Danielle is more powerful, connected and famous than him. He want the gap between them to get closed by all means that's why he wants Henry to marry Ruth. It would grant him respect as an in-law to Senator Daniell. When he heard about Wisdom and Ruth's relationship, he adviced Senator Danielle against. Though Senator Danielled tried to stop their relationship but Ruth didn't allow it, she stood by Wisdom until her father accept him. Wisdom being in the cell is really a good chance for him, Senator Anderson had advised his friend to kill Wisdom but Senator Danielle didn't. * * * * * * * * * * * * * Charles arrived at Henry's house, he heard his conversation with Senator Anderson, though not fully but he knew the conversatiom was how they'd harm Wisdom. Charles: Henry, are you set? Henry: Sure... I'm good to go. Charles: Fine. Let's get on the road. Henry: Would you come with us, Belina? We're going to see Ruth. Belina: Oh... Okay, let me join you guys. Charles: We had better start going. Though Belina was shocked to see Charles but she acted cool. She knows Charles is a good friend of Wisdom and he would know everything. She regretted that she didn't link him with the false accusation and decided to find a way to deal with him. Death is the only option!

Episode 5. In Greenhills hospital, the doctors and nurses couldn't believe it. Ruth is back from coma. It's like a miracle to every medical personnel, they didn't expect her to be back so quick. Their hospital would gain fame and respect when the media get to know Senator Danielle's daughter was treated there. Henry, Benita and Charles walked into her ward to meet the surprise; Ruth was sitting on the bed staring at them! Henry felt so happy and ran to hug and peck her forehead. Belina on the other hand was shaking, she seemed not to be all right and was fainting. Henry's POV I am so happy to see Ruth hale and hearty. I've really missed her, even though she doesn't like me a bit but I love her so much and would do anything to have her for myself. She didn't even say a word, she was just looking at us like a dummy and it get me worried. I pray it shouldn't be Amnesia. Coma to Amnesia? God forbid. I felt mad to see Belina walked in with Henry and Charles. I was expecting Wisdom to follow but he didn't. It got me worried and I wanted to ask of him but I could not talk. All I could do is to look at them in turns. I saw Belina shaking when she saw me, well, I know why. I looked at Charles and searched his eyes to ask for Wisdom but he couldn't get the signal. I hope Wisdom is not in any trouble and need someone to talk to me. Charles' POV I am so excited to see Ruth back from coma. She's the only hope for Wisdom's freedom. Though she couldn't talk but I know from the way she is looking at me, she wants to say something to me. I walked to her and said few things to her ear. She replied with her eyes and I got it. Episode 6. It has been months since Wisdom was detained by the police. No visit from anybody - friend, foe. He was left to face his pains, anguish alone. Wisdom's only prayer is Ruth, he needs her to survive, that's his only hope. Henry, to him is no good. Belina, the devil herself and Senator Danielle who is friendly to him turned violent. Even Senator Anderson wanted him dead, he still want him dead. The thought of the incident couldn't leave him, the guilt of dumping someone he claims to love in a river is killing him slowly. He couldn't tell if Ruth would ever forgive him, it was stupid of him, a mistake he's regretting. He cried in anguish and let the tears down. A policeman dressed in his black uniform walked to him and took him to the DPO office. Charles: Wise man! Oh My God! Is this really you? Wisdom: No, it's my shadow. Do you think it's easy?
