Cristine's Pov:

We looked deeply into each others eyes passionately.

I gulped nervously as I looked away.

"Let's... Let's go!" I snapped as he blinked his eyes.

He forced a smile at me and nodded.

"Yeah... Let's go" He said as he ignited the car engine and drove off

It was a very quiet drive....

We didn't stop stealing glances at each other.

Good heavens!

That guy is freaking so handsome....

I hope I don't faint in nervousness!

I looked out of the window....

As smiles escaped my lips.

Few minutes later..... ?

He drove me into my apartment and I got down from the car.

"Thank you so much Mr Andrew" I smiled broadly at him

"It's Andy.... You're welcome though" He said as I chuckled.

I walked into the duplex still waving at him.

He drove off again and I kept on smiling as I walked into my house.

I breathed heavily as I walked upstairs.

Finally, the maids are going to come home next week.

I really can't wait....

The duplex have turned to a graveyard since one could hear the sound of a pin.

I spooned the pasta into my mouth as I gulped down a glass of juice.

"Come on girlfriend... Tell me are you already going out with him?" Dani asked anxiously

"Nope.... coolval stories He's just a friend!" I said simply

"You know I don't think he is to you! I mean it's obvious you like him" Dani said as she scooped some pasta into her plate.

"Of course not! I.... I.... I don't.... like.... uhm" I stuttered

Daniella nudged me as I rolled my eyes.

"Oh really? When did you suddenly become a stammer?" Dani snorted.

I gulped....

"I wasn't stammering" I lied

"Well my advise to you my dear friend is to make haste when the sun shines" She sneered

I arched my eyebrows in confusion.

"What do you mean?" I snapped

"Go for what you like before it's too late" She said as I sighed.

"Haven't you heard of table manners huh?" I changed the topic.

Daniella laughed aloud.

"You're silly" She laughed

"One of the table manners includes not talking while eating" I said as we shared a laugh and continued eating.

Thoughts of what she said filled my mind.

But do I really like him?

I shrugged it off.

Andrew's Pov:

I laid on my bed with the duvet I used in covering myself.

I shivered uncontrollably on the bed.

My eyes were dull and my lips sore......

I coughed slightly before reaching for my cell phone.

I glanced at the wall clock.

It was 7am already.....

Actually I have a very high fever and can barely breathe.

I dialed some numbers but they were not going through.

That was when I dialed Cristine's number.

My hands were shaking and I almost threw my phone away.

I really need someone to help take me to the hospital or better still buy me drugs.

Cristine's Pov:

I walked into my office .....

You know the usual?

I always come to work as early as 7am...that have been my daily routine.

I dropped my handbag on the table and sat down.

My cell phone rang aloud....

Who could that be? ?

Oh! It was Mr Andrew.... I mean Andy.

I picked it up!

?Hello! Good morning Andy..... I said cheerfully

?Good.... Good morning... Andy's weak voice echoed out of my phone's speaker.

?Andy are you OK?"... I asked anxiously

?Please just come.. Come.... Please help... Help me... He said weakly

?Andy? Andy??".. I called anxiously as the cell phone hung up.

Fear gripped me!

What could be wrong?

Oh Andy! I hope nothing bad happens to him...

I quickly got up in fear and picked up my handbag.

I rushed out of the office... That was when I met my secretary.

"Ma'am? Ma'am? What happened? Are you OK?" She asked anxiously.

Before I could say a word, tears already rolled down my cheeks.

"I'll be back shortly" Was all I managed to say as I rushed out of the premises.....
