she stopped at my door and looked at me, saying no words and this time around her tears had already began dripping down from her eyes, "what is the matter, why are you crying?" i asked her, but she said nothing, and all she did was just to clean her eyes and look down on the floor, "ok come and sit lets talk things over" i said to her, and she calmly obeyed me and returned to my bed, where she sat down, "seriously i don't even know how to ask you this, but are you really sure?" i asked her, even though i didn't really complete the question i had meant to ask her, cos i really wanted to ask her whether i was the only person sleeping with her, but then i stopped cos i realised that she wont tell me the truth, no matter how much i ask, but instead it will only hurt her pride the more, which truthfully i didn't want to do, for i still cared about her and besides i might even be wrong about the whole thing.......

"sure about what?" she asked me in confusion, and i swallowed hard, "just forget sha, buh is chris in anyway aware of this?" i indirectly asked her, and she looked at me in shock, as she gave me her usual burning look, "why should chris be aware?, i don't really even know what you think about me, well he dosent know", she answered me, and i breathed deeply as i searched her face, and she continued, "for you to even think that a girl like me can date someone like chris who can't even afford to feed himself three times in a day is really annoying and insulting, all the assignments he does for me i do pay him, but i only do respect him because of how he helps me at school, and for him not to change his mind cos he is very brilliant, which i have often explained to you, and like i told you before, i won't like anything to come between me and him until i graduate, besides he havn't even seen the colour of my bra before, and even if i want to cheat on you, i will do it with a better person okay" she said to me with a slightly raised voice, which showed her anger, and i kept quiet as i continued to search her face with my eyes, but then, it was really blank and i saw nothing... "hmmmm", i finally breathed deeply as i swallowed hard in confusion, cos i really knew not what to believe anymore, "so why didn't you care to call or even flash me when i travelled?" i asked her, and she looked down, with a sad and tired face as if my question was getting on her nerves, "i was expecting you to call and apologise to me, but instead you just travelled when you very well knew that i didn't come back with much money and foodstuff, but you just purposely left me broke, seriously if not for my present predicament, you wouldn't have even seen me in your room" she said to me, as she raised up her face and we gazed at each other in silence saying no words, while i battled with my conscience as i debated within myself, whether she was really telling me the truth........
