however after that sunday, i finally made love with ella three times at home, before my friend ogu found out and stopped everything, i knew all along that he will get to find out one day, but i never knew that he will be wise enough to discover about it so soon, cos it was just only two weeks that it took him to discover about it, and supposing he didn't, we could have done it more than three times, cos ella just fell in love with me especially when she learn't that i was planning to further my education.....

Hmmmm, old memories, are really worth remembering, and for my friend ogu, even though he has forgiven me, i still know that he will never trust me again, and till now i can still picture the look on his face, when he caught me as i was escorting ella out of our compound that fateful sunday evening.......

"whether it was ndidi that leaked the secret to him, or another person, i still knew not till today, but on that particular sunday evening, as i stepped out of our compound with ella, ogu was already waiting under a mango tree, which was a stone throw away from our compound, and he immediately blocked us when he saw ella and i, while my heart jumped or leaped as i gasped at him in surprise.....

"so this is true eeh?" he asked me angrily as he bit his lips while the colour of his eyes changed to dark red, "jeez" i muttered under my breath, while ella left me and walked away very fast....

"as for you, let me see you again in this village with him, then you will know that i do smoke" he said angrily to her, before facing me with a clenched fist...

"oh my gawd hope he is not coming to fight me?" i asked myself, cos i couldn't afford to fight my friend in front of our compound on a sunday evening, cos it will definitely pull a crowd.....

"so you can betray me like this abi?" ogu asked me as he violently pushed me on the chest, but i stood my ground and held both hands on my waist while my blood pressure rose very fast.....

"so you want to fight me, frank your friend because of a mere girl?" i asked him and moved a bit back, in order for him to come back to his senses, but he looked at me, bit his lips, clenched his fists again and advanced towards me.....

"since you have the mind to betray me over a girl, i also have the mind to fight you over a girl" he shouted as he advanced.....

And i felt like running away that moment, but then i couldn't, cos it will be a big let down to run away from a fellow boy......

And as i waited for him to unleash his anger on me, all i prayed was for him to reduce his voice, cos he was shouting as well, and people were already opening their windows and doors.......

What could i have done??.....
