"what is the matter dear" adaora asked me again and i immediately composed myself and smiled at her, "nothing dear, i just remembered something" i said to her before going to dispose off the rubber, cos i reasoned that moment that telling her might not really be necessary, for she might still use it as another bargaining power, which wouldn't really be in my favour "but what if she becomes pregnant?" i asked myself when i was in the toilet, "well thats the risk i really have to take and if she later becomes pregnant, nothing really changes expect an extra mouth to feed in future after all she is already living with us" i assured myself as i shruggled in resignation..........

Sunday morning saw my sister and adaora travelling back to abuja and i dropped them at the park very early, in order for them to be able to get the first bus, "do take care of yourself," adaora said to me as she gave me one last hug and peck, and there really was a satisfied smile on her face which was wrapped up with love, "i will really miss you" she had also said to me that morning before boarding the bus and i drove home in silence, while my thoughts kept me company.........

I later returned back to owerri on monday, not because of chinwe for she still refused to answer my phone calls but just for me to be free once more, besides i do really enjoy the eastern heartland{owerri} more than enugu, perhaps because i spent most of my university days there....

"guy you no be better person" frank said to me when he called me on phone that monday afternoon, and i only muttered, "i'm sorry you no go understand brother" cos truthfully i hadn't even called nor asked of his welfare for long, which is very bad, "guy just dey come sunic fastfood for new market side jor" he said to me as if he knew that i was in owerri and i immediately drove over to the place without any second thought, even though i was surprised to hear that he was around cos i thought he was still in ondo state where he was serving, "guy we dey upstairs he said to me" when i called him on phone, at the door of the fastfood joint and i climbed up immediately and to my deep surprise i saw him sitting and flanked both sides by two female youth corpers{ they were in uniform}, "how far" frank said to me with a smile, as we shook hands before he introduced me to the girls he sat with, and 'jeez' i licked my lips when i heard they were yoruba girls serving in owerri, 'Tina' and 'esther' are their names and they both looked sweet and beautiful.......

"hmmmm i guess fun time is back again" i said to myself with a smile........
