Diary of an imostar season2 monday 29/10/2012

*continues*

i walked back to my room that night in silence cos there wasn't really anything i could have done that moment, other than to retire to my room in despair, for adaora was really playing out a scene which she had planned all along and memorised, and i shruggled in resignation cos i saw that she was winning, "is there really a way out of this??" i asked myself as i scratched my head that late evening.......

I was unable to sleep that night as i thought of my next line of action, but then i really could not come up with any plan cos i was yet to know what they both had discussed that evening, "hmmm isnt it even better to forget about adaora and chinwe and look for a new fresh girl" i asked myself, since chinwe and adaora weren't making it easy for me any longer........'hmmm' and it really seemed like a brilliant idea to me.....

My phone soon struck 4am and the alarm blasted, jolting me from sleep, for i later dozed off with my thoughts that night, "nawaoo 4am already" i said to myself as i hurridly went to the 'sink'{a built in bowl like structure which disposes off water and is located in almost every corner in most houses} where i washed my face and brushed my mouth, before going to adaoras room to see her as i had promised the previous evening,.......

My heart pounded as i walked to her room, but then i wasn't really scared cos i knew that there wasn't really anything she could do to me other than cry or maybe scream at me and so i walked calmly to her door which opened with the slightest touch, and i gently closed it as soon as i entered the dark room, and i also managed to get to her bed without hitting my foot on anything, "ada" i called out to her. but she did not respond cos she was asleep, and i waited for a while before switching on the little rechargeable lantern, which was on a stool beside her bed before calling her again, and this time around she opened her eyes and instantly sat on her bed the moment she noticed that i was the one, "hmmm is she scared that i might touch her" i said to myself as i smiled, and she gave me an askance look, "who are you smiling at, you big time liar, do you think that you can easily manipulate me with your lies again, see! am not a small girl any longer so please don't try such pranks on me again" she said to me in anger and i swallowed hard as i listened to her, cos there wasn't really anything reasonable which occurred to me to say that moment, and i stood up with a sad face while the light of the lantern shone on my face, "i'm sorry for lying to you yesterday and i'm also sorry for disturbing your sleep, i guess now that you know the truth that it's finally sealed and over between us, but truthfully i just told you those lies in order to calm you down, cos you know that sometimes a sweet lie is better than a painful truth" i said to her with a mild tone, before taking my leave and she looked intently at me, holding her teddy bear as i said those words to her, "val wait" i heard her say when i was about to turn the door knob and i turned to face her once again, but then i was really overwhelmed when i saw her get up from her bed and walk towards me..........

"what is she up to this time??"
