LIFE OF AN ILLITERATE
EPISODE 12

"I told you not to come right? Why do you come? I would have picked you up at the airport myself. Stubborn woman" Stephen scolded her with a disappointed look. She smiled and pecked him slightly on the cheek.

"You look so cute when you are angry. I don't mind seeing you that way all day. I missed you so much Stephen " She confessed pulling him for a hug.
"And me too Baby but here is not the right time... " He pulled her off immediately embarrassed the workers were watching. Christian watched on looking really confused. He doubted the reason she was so close to the dude so much. That wasn't the attitude of a decent lady.
"What is he doing here? I don't understand" Sandra asked pointing at him.
"I forgot to introduce you to him. Actually this is Christian my friend and Christian this is Sandra my wife" Stephen introduced in a snap.
"Wow! I knew it. It is actually you Chris. It has been ages my friend. It's so nice seeing you again " She greeted with teary eyes.
"Huh? You both know each other?" He asked in confusion.
"Yes. He was my sister's childhood friend. Actually just for a day sha before they finally fought for few hours and all. Nice to meet you again Chris " Christian gave her a little upset look as if he was still angry with her. He shook it and turned away immediately. Before she could start apologizing for her behavior in the past, a young lady rushed in sweating profusely.
"Stephen I am so so sorry. I couldn't stop her. You know how your wife is right? She is just so adamant on everything" The lady had said trying to catch her breath.

"It's okay Sister in law. I am use to you sister's behavior already. I am ready to put up with her for eternity"
"That proves how much you love me honey. I knew I married for right man" Sandra said holding his arm in hers. Clara blushed.
"True love it is. You both are excellent match"
"Clara, when will you take your Fiance to the altar? It has been a year now" Sandra asked with a frown.
"Is this the right time to talk about this? It is confidential you know"
"Great. Everything is always confidential to you. Anyway, have you met that man over there? " Sandra pointed out at Christian who was so engrossed in his work to notice what was happening.

"Yes. I have seen him. He is a mechanic I guess. It is easy to identify who he is isn't it? "
"O! Goodness. You are so naive. Alright, do you mind approaching the mechanic and greeting him hi? " Sandra requested.
"What do you think you are trying to do sister? Are you trying to tease me by getting me to date a mechanic? Really? Is that how much you love me? "
"No dear. I know you will never agree to date a mechanic even if heaven falls"
"Great thinking"
"But at least, you can be nice to him. Greet him just hi and come back. You can even introduce yourself" Clara rolled her eyes reluctantly but agreed anyway. She pop the chewing gum she was chewing and walked majestically toward Christian.

"Hello My Mechanic. How are you? I hope you are doing great and if you are getting stressed up, you can rest. I am a doctor sir and I do care for people like you. They often die of stress you know. Do not overwork yourself" She told him with a nonchalant attitude. Christian had no idea what was actually going on. His mind was far off somewhere else. Clara got really embarrassed realizing he had ignored her. She got furious and turned him toward her in anger wondering how someone can be so rude.

"I am talking to you! " She yelled at him with a strict tone. His eyes met hers and she got really dumbstruck realizing who it was. She let him go instantly. Sandra laughed out really loud giving her husband a high-five.
"It worked! My plan really worked" She praised herself with a childish look.
