Chapter 11

.... Jesus! chief's wife exclaimed in shock, William,you are alive?,my wife was shocked to the bones to see chief walked in,I was too like everyone else.So Cheif wasn't dead after all, what's going on, everyone seems confused.

My Lord, may I present to the withness box the supposed late chief Williams,the chief walked to the withness box full of life.

Mr Williams,you were assumed dead,and supposedly murdered on the 15th day February by Mrs Beauty,Can you tell this honorable court who attempted to end your life or has our suspicion been correct.My barrister asked.

Hmmmmmm,life is a misery,I have learnt my life lessons in a hard way.Beauty has been in the police custody for what she knows nothing about.True I had gone to that hotel with her, knowing she's married,and I have a wife too,for that I am ashamed of myself,and I would want to say I am sorry to both my wife and her husband,After our shameful act of adultery, Beauty wasn't comfortable,she felt remorseful for Cheating on her husband with me,even though I had been with her before she knew and got married to her husband,she had told me it was all going to stop after her wedding,but I kept asking for more,but that very day,she meant it,she told me with all seriousness in her,that we were done,that she has a good man and doesn't want to hurt him.i understood were she was coming from, because I can't imagine a man having something with my wife.i respected her wish,and she left.

About 5mins after she had left, someone knocked,I stood up and opened,it was my DRIVER,Peter what do you want I had asked, I was about climbing the bed when Peter hit me with something,I had become weak,and lay on the bed,then peter came to were I was,and tried to strangle me,he actually thought I had died,so did others,the hospital I was rushed to by the hotel's management did all they could,but I wanted to know why Peter whom I had treated Iike a son would want me dead,hence I asked him to declare me dead even to my wife.the driver who was in court ,was trying to excape when he was held by the police around.i had seen how my supposed death had dealt with everyone around me, Beauty had been in the police custody for a month and two weeks ,my wife having psychological stress and even accused at some point,when the real cooperate was moving freely.i was seeing some pictures on my phone when Peter came in,I quickly switched to video,even though his face wasn't fully captured,his voice can be heard,I was able to have my phone from the police station,he played the video,and peter's voice was heard.

I peter promised I was going to be the one to end your miserable life you old fool,how dare you,how dare you hurt my only sister,die,die die,came the voice,the struggles of Mr Williams was always heard,,the video displayed the hotel's room even though their faces were not so captured,there voices,the chief's and Peter's were audible.Peter was brought to the withness box.

Guilty or Not Guilty,,the judge asked, Guilty,yes I am guilty, there's no point wasting my time,I am guilty and I do not regret it,this bastard of a Chief,got my only sister Tracy pregnant,and abandoned her, living her with no choice but to contemplate terminating the baby,my sister pleaded,that she would want to have her baby even though Chief would not marry her,he should take responsibility of his child,but chief refused and left her,my sister had no choice but to terminate the baby which eventually destroyed her womb,my sister would no longer be able to have a child,and that has left her very sad and a shadow of herself,I then promised I was going to deal with chief myself,I found my way into Mr Williams family by posing to be a driver,the worse thing he did was to have trusted me,I was the one driving him to see his mistress,on that Faithful day,I decided to deal with him,I had mastered the hotel,and I knew were the CCTV camera was controlled,I was able to find my way,I was desperate,I tempered with it,and went in to carry out my plan, after which went back to rectify it.i went to the hospital and confirmed he was dead,but I never knew this old fool was a cat with nine lives,I honestly wished he had died.

Everyone in the court room Was suprised, peter had been so encouraging to chief's family,he was always at every hearing,he was the one driving Mrs Williams everywhere,who would have thought he was the cooperate.this life is indeed a misery .

Hmmmmmmmm,this case is one of the most confusing I have handled,the judge said,you don't take laws into your hands,I am not justifying chiefs action of getting your sister pregnant and abandoning her,but they were other ways to have handled the issue,rather than resorting to taking his life,to make matters worse,you watched as an innocent person is been dragged for a crime you committed,what would have become of her if chief had died and not showed up to defend her ,she would have been paying for your sins, that's wickedness.Having looked at the case extensively,and with all evidence leveled against you,and your plead of been guilty, Mr Peter you are here by sentenced to 10 years imprisonment with hard labour,while Mrs Cyril Beauty is Free and declared NOT GUILTY..

My in-laws jumped up in happiness, their joy knew no bound,Ben gave me a warm embrace,the handcuffs on my wife were unlocked.her mother ran to where she was and hugged her,same was her father,when they were done,I didn't know exactly what to do,to walk up to her and hug her ,walk away or just stand still,while lost in thought,she came to where I was and opened her arms,I looked at her in the eyes confused....
