....what, Mrs Williams?,please go on,why do you say so,I asked her.she had always complained about oga's involvement with other women and how he takes them on different vacations while she's stock at home ,she had always said she was going to deal with oga in such a way that he'd not believe.The very day oga died,I was going to tidy Madam's room,when I heard her on phone with someone,I eavesdropped at her conversation,and I heard her telling the person on the other end to carry out with the plan,that she was tired of everything and it was better she ended it all instead of a marriage like this.She also went further to tell the person to make sure the plan doesn't exceed that very day for her mind was made up.So later the day,when I heard Cheif had died,my mind flased back to the conversation I heard madam on phone,I have been trying to keep it to myself,but I can't,it bothers me that the real killer of Cheif is walking freely,while someone else is paying for her sins,I am not saying your wife is a saint,, she's the architect of all the misfortune,if she wasn't coming after someone else's husband,she wouldn't be in this mess, nevertheless,madam had no right taking a life,there are different ways one can express her displeasure over issues,not resolving to killing.she said.

Hmmmmmm,this is a big revelation indeed,but how can a woman murder her own husband all in the name of expressing anger,two wrongs does not and can never make a right,what does she stand to gain by killing her husband and the father of her children,I had asked a rhetorical question.

In the early hours of the day your husband died,who did you call,say between 7_9am,she was asked,the only person I called that day was my elder brother in the village,she replied.would you mind telling us what your conversation with him was,the officer asked her,well I wanted him to help do something,she said ,what exactly if you don't mind,that's confidential and private Mrs Williams replied. I was asking him to return the Bride price William paid on my head as I was done with the marriage, I had long wanted to get out of the marriage but each time I think of my children I always end up changing my mind,on that very day I begged my brother to return Williams Bride price before I changed my mind again. The detective did some investigation,and even went to the village to get the brother arrested,he was interogated in a different place and even without seeing the sister was able to say the exact words his sister said.the detective has someone in the networking service,he was able to trace both their calls,and detected the conversation was the exact thing they had said,with all those, there weren't any evidence against Mrs Williams to pin the case on her,it would be against the law and her human right detaining her without any tangible evidence.

She was allowed to go due to lack of evidence.she walked up to me,with anger in her eyes.so you want to pin the death of my own husband on me to free your promiscuous wife, Cyril,read my lips I shall make sure you wife rots in jail,even if it's the last thing I do.

Days on ,it was the first hearing of the case,I was in court,as well as my wife's parents, Ben was with me too, Mrs Williams and her two children who are young adults say 18 n 16 respectively if am to guess their age .I had never been to court since I was born,I only watch how cases are presented in movies,who would have thought that my wife will be the one to show me the way leading to a court house.

My wife was brought in by some police men in handcuffs,she was looking very pitiable, unkempt, malnutritioned,and a shadow of herself,the beauty I had thought I saw,loved and went crazy about had all gone away,indeed when it comes to love, marriage and relationship,it's good to love the person as a person,it is good to have deep feeling of love from within, because looking a particular thing may become dangerous when that thing disappears ,the cuffs were taking off her hand.and the registrar introduced the case.my wife was made to swear by the bible to speak the truth and nothing but the truth.

my wife was directed to the withness stand,the judge read the accusation against her,and asked her what she pleaded Guilty or not Guilty,my wife responded Not Guilty.the Counsel to the plaintiff (Mrs Williams) was the first to be called upon to examine my wife,the lawyer was a very intelligent one,one who had never lost a case in more than 20 years in practicing, Mrs Williams really promised to deal with my wife and she meant it,, because hiring the services of Barrister Joe was no small task.

The case was adjourned to three weeks time,my wife taking back to cell,the journalist were everywhere,Mr Williams was a prominent personality,hence the news spread like wide fire....
