A student of Covenant University (CU), Ota has been suspended by the school authority after he was caught with a phone containing an x-rated music video.

The Covenant University student (name withheld),
was caught watching the nearly x-rated music video of Jarmeu’s “Booty Bash”, who is one of Nigeria’s
fast rising artistes.

The school, which is
owned by Nigeria’s
billionaire’s pastor, David Oyedepo’s Winners Chapel
Church, as most people might have heard, does not allow the use of {camera}mobile phones by its students.

Therefore, when the
student’s phone was
seized, it was discovered that he was watching a music video that had the flaunting of ‘booties’, which belonged to Jarmeu.
The student was then
punished for ‘indecent behaviour" and disobedience of school rules..

Whats your view on this, is it proper to monitor undergraduates to this extent?? Hap

they knew the rules before they enrolled huh... or did they enroll just to show they are rich? although i know some children (YES! KIDS) are forced by their parents (especially because they believe their children will have better moral control and safety) against their wish!
