Episode 93

we joined the crowd of matriculating students, as they laughed and posed for pictures, which really looked like a very stupid behaviour, but then it really didn't appear stupid to us, and we equally enjoyed it as we took and posed for pictures even more than the matriculating students.........

"wow so glad to see you how have you been doing?" Beauty asked me as we hugged when Emeka and i bumped into her beside the school love garden,
"i'm fine oo, i have been trying to reach you these past few weeks but your phone number isn't going through" i lied,
"i guess it's network oo" she replied as she looked me over, while i felt like disappearing that moment, cos seeing her made me remember my own failure as a student.......

"my name came out in law, how about you?" she asked happily,
"mine came out in marketing" i lied while she smiled,
"marketing isn't bad congrats" she said to me, as she dragged me to a photo stand, where we took some pictures with Emeka before she left......

The matric really went very well, and students equally showed up in large numbers, that the whole school environment was very much filled up. Young, tempting beautiful girls were equally everywhere, which made Emeka to try his luck on some, but then he gave up after they all ignored him........

We equally ran into Nicki who was so happy to see us,
"how have you been doing?, you just forgot all about me nah?" she accused, while i gave her a lame excuse. However she also was among the matriculating studens, cos she was offered admission in edu/govt, which she really wasn't happy about,
"can you believe my name came out in edu/govt upon my high score, i hate that department with passion, moreover i don't want to be a teacher" she complained while i swallowed hard as i watched her, seriously i could have stolen her admission that moment if it was possible........

Finally around 5:30pm i headed home with different thoughts in my mind, cos it seemed like all my friends were offered admission apart from Emeka, which really drew out tears from my eyes as i headed home. But then the mistake has already been done and there was no need crying over split milk..........

I finally got home, to meet my Dad waiting anxiously and angrily for me in the sitting room, and his red eyes said it all as he advanced towards me,
"so you attended a matric you were not part of ?, do you even have anything like shame in you eeh?" he asked angrily as he landed two powerful slaps on my cheek......

"ajó nwa{bad child}" he cursed.......
