THE KILLER'S BURIAL

Episode Four (18+)

I left my laptop charging in the sitting room when I went to bed, then I woke up later in the middle of the night to pick it up because I needed it to work out somethings at the time. Going back to my room, I saw uncle Ike coming out from the opposite direction of my room, he had gone to take a bottle of wine from the fridge there. He drinks wine a lot. I went back to my room, touched my woman, her whole body was cold. Again, another one was dead mysteriously........

This time, I was arrested alongside uncles Gilbert and Ike. Yet, due to lack of evidence to prosecute us, we were released after some weeks. One evening, my sister asked we take a stroll down to the beach and have a discussion. Which we did. We got to the beach, sat in a quiet corner and discussed. She told me it was time to get to the root of the mysterious deaths. That we have to do whatever it takes to unravel the mystery behind such deaths. I thought of what possibly could be done to get a solution to it. Amanda was my friend in school, a detective with SSS (state Security Service). I quickly thought of how possible to engage her services to get the killer.

My sister asked why I wasn't saying anything, I told her what I've been able to come up with. I told her I was going to employ the services of a detective, but it would be in disguise. She would come over to the house to act as a fiancee, but must be very smart. Because I would let her know how the deaths have been occurring. My sister bought the idea and said we have to act quickly before we both are killed. I assured her nothing of such would ever happen. When we got home that evening, Uncle Gilbert and Ike were outside seated drinking from a bottle of wine. It was a very confusing state for me to know who was behind all the deaths. We greeted them and went in.

The next day, I called Amanda and told her everything and how I would love her to come in. She accepted and told me she would be coming around a week after. That the period in question, her annual leave starts. That was a good timing for me as she would be staying in my house and sleeping in my room. Since the killer or killers are very smart, we have to apply smartness as well. We refused involving uncles Gilbert and Ike in our plans, let's know if the killer was a ghost or human. The week came and Amanda arrived, I introduced her to uncle Gilbert and Ike as my fiancee. As usual they were both happy to receive her.

She stayed the first three nights and nothing happened. I got a call for a business transaction that required I travel. I called Amanda and told her about the call, that I would be traveling the next day and that she has got to be extremely vigilant and careful. I traveled the next morning, that night while she pretended to be asleep, she didn't lock the door properly, then she noticed the door opened. A person in a black overall lumberjack walked in with a white handkerchief in his/her hand. She said the shape she saw was like that of a woman, but the movement like a man's. While the person approached her, she made for her gun ?.

When the person noticed she wasn't asleep, he/she quickly vanished. There was no sound of any door in the house being shut to show where the person entered according to her. She explained to me when I came back two days after. I called uncle Gilbert and Ike and told them what she told me. Uncle Gilbert said she should have shouted to alert them, maybe the person would have been caught. But I assured them that the person must surely be caught. The following day, Uncle Ike traveled back to the village to see his family......
