[b]*****Episode 1******* Blood pumped in my arteries.............my heart spasmed hysterically............images flashed through my eyes leaving a deep imprint on my mind...........I shifted my head from side to side in the vain bid to understand what was going wrong inside my head.......i felt something wrapped around my head!!!! I could still see the image of a very beautiful lady pointing a glock pistol at me..I couldn't tell who she was or why she was pointing the gun at my head but the image repeatedly punished my consciousness till I had no option but to yield to its intensity......I heard faint voices in the background......"call the doctor",a female voice yelled with a high intensity....my ears were very sharp to pick out movements in the room.......by what I heard,there were two sets of feet in the room......presumably females by the sound of their voices.......i could sense the commotion amongst them.....were they scared of me or something????.......the two set of feet ran out of the room in apparent fear or confusion..I couldn't tell which was compelling them to run in such a manner.........I tried to open my eyes but whatever was wrapped around my head extended down to my eyes and was holding them down firmly in such a way that I could not open them....I tried to move my arms but it was a futile effort as there were restraints holding my arms to the bed,my legs too.........I kept wondering as I rubbed my back against the linen sheets of the bed on which I was restrained trying to wriggle free.......why would I be restrained to a bed and what were those two ladies doing here........My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the two sets of feet scurrying back towards the room with another set of feet following closely......whoever it was was wearing an Italian shoe no doubt,i knew because I had grown accustomed to hearing the luxurious click it gave whenever it landed against tiled floors.....so now I knew the floors were tiled without my eyes......How could I tell so much without opening my eyes??? Was I some kind of spy or something???.......The footsteps proceeded into the room as my breathing got heavier and heavier mostly because of the uncertainty of my safety......."you said he moved????" a male voice asked.....He was probably the one wearing the expensive shoes....."yes sir",the two voices chirped in unison........I was really tense now........A flat cold metal was pressed on my chest...."A stethoscope",i thought to myself finally realising that I was in some sort of medical facility......"who are you",i demanded,"and what am I doing here????"........"I am a doctor",he replied,"am going to remove the bandages on your head now so I need you to remain calm while I remove them..."ok" I agreed.....he seemed friendly..As he bent over my nose,i caught a whiff of expensive perfume but it didn't last long enough as my bed was bent into a sitting position and my bandages were slowly removed..........I opened my eyes and shut them quickly as the room was too bright........As my eyes acclimatized,i could make out two pretty nurses standing in the corner and the bearded doctor sitting on my bed.....I peered at his shoes,I was right after all,they were Italian and the floor was tiled.......my thoughts were distracted as the doctor looked at me and said,"you sustained a gunshot wound to the head and you've been comatose for a long time".... "Gunshot!!!!",i croaked in shock............."its important that you be calm as you haven't fully finished your treatment,any strain on the wounded parts can be injurious to your health",he said as he took a large file from the nurse standing behind him..."could you tell me your name??",he said as he peered into my eyes....My eyes widened in horror as I made a shocking discovery,[color=red]"I couldn't remember".....[/color][/b]:s

[b]**********Episode 2******* My throat felt dry,my hands grew increasingly numb as a sudden daze fell over me........i couldn't tell what was going wrong...........I couldn't remember anything.....the horror of this reality nearly drove me off the age........hot tears trickled down my now bloodshot eyes as I struggled to answer the question the doctor had asked........"Are you ok???",the doctor muttered as he saw that I had visible changed since he asked that particular question........I moved my lips but no words came out,the tears were flowing more freely now...This was a harsh reality for me to accept.....a lot of thoughts flashed through my head...My suspicions kicked in!!! Who were these people really??,why was I restrained???,had they brain washed me or something???....."sir",the doctor quipped again as I was brought back to look at the increasingly curious face of the doctor as he peered at me through his thick spectacles........."I can't remember",i muttered as a look of shock spread through his countenance......."oh God",he murmured,"i sincerely hoped this wouldn't happen as he slouched into a plastic seat opposite the bed and looked at me dejectedly..........i tugged at the restraints suggestively as he motioned for the nurses to get them off....The nurses approached cautiously as I stared continuously at them with bloodshot eyes.........their feet wobbled beneath them as they closed in on the restraints and unfastened them.......I clutched at the white bands on my hands once they had been released,they looked pale and felt numb as I rubbed them while motioning the nurses towards my leg restraints.........once I was loose,i sprung to my feet but immediately fell to the floor.........I could feel blood dropping onto my hand from my head.......the doctor and his nurses rushed towards me as he shouted,"dont do that,you can't be engaging in physical activities yet,you are not nearly strong enough for that kind of thing for God's sake".........I was lifted to my feet and placed back on the bed with blood trickling from my head....At least I could agree with the doctor on this one thing,I wasn't by any means strong enough to move....they sedated me and put me back in restraints.......I started feeling woozy looking at the doctors face......he had anger etched in his face at my disobedience of his orders!!!!........gradually the features on his face grew blurry as I drifted off to sleep apparently induced by the sedatives............ I woke up late in the night with sweat all over my body and my heart pounding audibly......my eyes slowly started making out figures standing outside my door......they were both males wearing black overalls...........one was speaking into a phone and looking at me repeatedly..........what were these people up to????[/b]

[b]*******Episode 3******* Lots and lots of possibilities washed their way through my mind as I was struggling to contemplate where these guys came from or what I was doing in the hospital.......I was feeling much stronger now though that was not the only thing I was feeling right now......The bandages on my head were much tighter and I could feel a slight ache in my head......I stared towards my restrained hands and tugged at them again......surprisingly the fastened lace loosened as I tugged at it......I guessed the nurses didn't do a very good job of tying these laces tightly as instructed by the doctor...I kept tugging until the lace loosened all the way and the leather flap bounding my hands to the bed now fell away freely........I calmly scanned the room to see if anyone was aware of what had just happened but I was greeted by the brightness of the light flowing into the room from the corridor......I quickly but quietly moved my free hand to untangle the laces binding the other hand to free it, all the while paying attention to the two men standing outside my door........where they some kind of guards or something????.......With my two hands free now,i arched my back to be sure I was strong enough to sit and once I decided I had enough strength to do that,i sat up and quickly undid the laces holding my legs and moving them around for some minutes I cautiously planted them on the tiled floors to avoid a repeat of what happened earlier........"Thank gracious,i could stand", I thought to myself,heaving a sigh of relief as I stood erect......looking around the room,i could make out some bloody clothes in a transparent duffel bag and some documents in the bag too hanging in the corner........Dangling from the foot of my bed was the clipboard in the file the doctor was clutching earlier.......holding it up I could see a name "gregory billiard" incribed on it!! Was that my name???,why would he ask if he knew my name???? Did he know I would lose my memory???? I wondered.......... Looking further down the clipboard I could make out some admission details but the provision made for the details of whoever checked me into the hotel was torn out.......Then suddenly I heard some noise near my door.....they couldn't see me because there was no light inside the room......I could make out three figures....the doctor was conversing with the two men standing outside my room........A quick scan of my room told me this wasn't a conventional hospital room,it was actually a makeshift...........i could see it was once a laboratory...I had to get out of here and with the speed of light,my mind devised a plan,that doctor would be my ticket out of here but first I needed to know who checked me in here.........I grabbed a surgical blade from a tray in front of me and in the same tray I could see two syringes loaded with liquids......slipping behind the door,i got ready.......Immediately the doctor entered and shut the door,i held him firmly and pressed the blade to his throat....He retracted his arm which he had intended to switch on the light bulb with........."pls calm down",he muttered,"i know this must all be very confusing but I can explain"........."shut up and tell me what those two syringes contain"......I demanded........"epinephrine and it's reversal formula",he quipped "pls I have high blood pressure,this wouldn't be good for my health,let me go",he begged........An idea popped into my head........Grabbing the epinephrine he showed me,I Injected him with it.........."Like you said doctor,you have high blood pressure,your heart can't handle all that adrenaline,so if you want the reversal formula you'd better go and get the torn part of the clipboard",i spoke into his ear as I motioned towards the clipboard on the bed..........."And you know better than anyone that you don't have much time", I said as he hurried towards the door and left the room with shock written all over his face.........I was feeling like an action movie actor......Who exactly was i??[/b]

[b]**********Episode 4******* The speed with which the good doctor rushed out of the room went a long way to reassure me of the effectiveness of my plan.... Immediately he was out the door........I fell onto the bed, I had exerted quite a lot of energy while threatening the doctor so I figured it would be wise to get some rest while figuring out what the next step in my plan would be........ But then,this was definitely not the time to rest at all.....I picked myself up from the bed and headed towards the other end of the room and unhooked the duffel sack from where it was hung........ I saw the same name scribbled on the duffel sack so I guessed the bloody clothes and whatever documents that were in the bag belonged to me.....Scanning through the documents,its couldn't make any sense to me but I would take them with me and hopefully meet someone who would help me make sense out of it all..........As I was unraveling the rumpled clothes,i noticed that there was a lot more blood than I could have envisaged which made me start to wonder afresh why the girl in my visions had shot me......so far I wasn't getting any clues....   I was jolted out of my thoughts when I heard conversation at the door... Apparently it seemed that the two men at the door were trying to find out from the doctor if he was ok because from all indications he had been running....Now he was sweating profusely,breathing heavily and couldn't stand up straight..... At this point I realised the epinephrine had kicked in, I just hoped he would enter the room before it's effects would become deadly considering his ill-health.....     He entered the room with a frantic look on his face as he handed me a crumpled piece of paper, I didn't know what he told the guards outside but it was surely good enough..."let me have the syringe",he murmured nearly short of breath......Meanwhile,i had unfolded the piece of paper and there was no name only an address....."i asked for a name",i snarled..... bewildered by my questioning even in his condition,he mustered the strength to tell me that whoever it was didn't give him one and that he used the address to collect his payment.........    He was on his knees now as I injected him with the reversal formula and patted his head with my palm.......He sprawled helplessly on the ground as the injection slowly took effect and as a result of this, he drew long slow breaths....... Now I have what I need,i would need to leave.......Lifting a piece of metal lying in the corner,i turned to the doctor and said to him,"if those guards enter,tell them I jumped out the window,your life depends on it"... Having said that I broke the window with the metal and rushed to hide behind a cabinet inn the room. The sound prompted the guards to rush into the room and switching on the light, they found the doctor sprawled on the ground trying to regain himself.... He couldn't speak, all he had to do was point to the window.... I was guessing the guards must be thinking I overpowered the doctor and put him in that condition so I could escape...... "let's get downstairs quickly",one of them shouted to the other as they rushed out of the room.......... From how they acted,i guessed whoever it was wouldn't be too happy to hear that I had escaped........ As they rushed out of the room, I came out of hiding and took the doctors white coat from him and put on an old hat lying around in the corner to hide my head bandages.............. Picking up the documents, I said my goodbyes to the doctor and after apologising for his troubles, I made my exit.................[/b]

[b]*******Episode 5**********    Making my way out of the room, I could still hear the doctor breathing rather heavily... This whole event must have been really shocking for the poor man...  I banished the pity that was creeping into my mind for him as I set my sights once more on the priority at hand which was getting out of here and getting to the address that the doctor had given me........    I made my way down a flight of stairs keeping my head down all along to avoid recognition by any of the nurses I walked across....Though I could see their occasional suspicious peers at me, I kept walking without paying attention to them..... From the look of things,it seemed the guards who had rushed outside had alerted the others and they had left to comb the premises. I was now at the front desk of the hospital reception and I heaved a sigh of relief as the exit sign on the door came into view...       I was now walking briskly towards the door when one of the guards on black overalls breezed past me and immediately spun around, something told me he knew I wasn't part of the hospital staff.... That was the last thing I could remember before I blacked out.....    I could make out voices talking to each other as I woke.. everything seemed to be a blur as I opened my eyes .......Even the voices seemed to be sounding in two's making it very difficult to make out what any of them was saying.... steadily but yet slowly my vision cleared.... At least enough for me to see that I was still in alice's house and sure enough there she was, standing nearby with a man whom I recognized to be the doctor from the hospital I had escaped from.... He toook a step backwards when he realized I was awake clutching his file close to his body as if he was relying on it for protection..... Alice smiled when she saw him do this.... "Alice", I muttered as I tried to get up.... Rushing over, she helped me sit up as I peered curiously at the doctor, wondering why he was standing there... "What is he doing here", I finally asked alice..... calmly looking at me she explained, "well, you passed out and I had to do something, I couldn't just sit around and watch you. meanwhile, I think you have to listen to what he has to say"... The look in her eyes betrayed her, this was the same look in her eyes when I had threatened her at the hospital for her overalls...... something was amiss and the only person who would enlighten me was the scared doctor....    I stared at him as he cowered in the corner still clutching his files close to his chest. "Why are you so scared", I asked smiling....... "I think you know why", Alice replied laughing heartily......  "Well, I don't have good news",the doctor began hesitantly...... "I would have given you this news earlier but you didn't give me a chance to do so. It appears you have a degenerative disease in your brain, the bullet caused pretty much a lot of damage on its way in...........". I didn't hear anything else as I stared at the man blankly. Was this the end??? Tears had already started coursing down Alice's face as she stared at me..... I stared back with my mouth wide agape.....The doctor was right, this wasn't good news......
