I don't know why most people do not seem to approve of a relationship between their best friend and their sister/brother.
Even my roommate swore that he'll never allow it.
Is it wrong? if yes, why?

It all depends on a person's character & attitude....If i hav a good girlfrend who i feel will b good 4 my broda,i'll do d link-up.

@TeeSolid Only punch??? What of Tribune , Daily Post, Sunday Trust , The Union, The Champion & Blue Print??.... If you could allow me to marry your sister, My-Inlaw, abeg no try throw me punch oo, cause the way ah go goal-kick you, you go reach another goalpost oo...relationship isn't just all about happiness, you got hurt and get healed, you got blame and get praised....things doesn't work out in relationship just like movies and stories does make it seems.....

Its nothing bad atall, before calling someone BEST FRIEND, the duo sides must have reach some point...so, I don't see anything bad if a friend I called best out of my friend want to date my sister.....and if my sister also doesn't disapprove of it..... Since I can tolerate my friend character to the extent of making him my BEST, definitely I can allow that...He won't also want to make himself look bad to me.....

Hahaha it reminds me sometime back I use visit my friend deep inside I knew that ill get a chance to tell her where & time to meet.sometimes it was hard when my frnd didn't want leave me go my own way

I dont even have a best friend, even if i have, i'll not stand on his way if my sister tells me she loves him. I'll only advise her.

As 4 me if my BEST FRIEND av proven 2 b of reasonable character and also my sister loves im..., why not if not???. @blessedgirl if ur friend [i suppose itz female] hav VOWED neva 2 allow a friend date her broda, it may b because she tinks dat her broda is not worth her friend [mayb he is a PLAYER] nd so don't wanna c her friend hurt. OR Her friend knows a lot of tinz bout her dat she don't want her broda 2 know and may also b dat her friend is a SHADY character
