****CHAPTER ONE**** #Ali's side of the Story# I met this girl in College:first year,her name was Bernice.We happend to be in the lecture hall as general students. As to how I met Bernice still remains a mystery to all and sundry. *Bernice was dark in complexion...Very pretty,she had this shape which really attracted my seniors in College to try their luck on her but to no avail. I mean to say,her *Ass* was so captivating.That which could send a guy confused on seeing her* behind* She had an awesome body too.Very charming was her looks. *It was one cool evening, the cloud looked like it was about to rain with the sky fuming with lighting striking here and there. I went to class with Benjie my secondary school friend and now friend on Campus. We happened to attend the same High school and now the same lecture hall. Ben is a good friend.A guy of average height,dark,big guy.Bigger than I am,very jovial in nature. Actually,he was one of the guys in College who had many friends as ladies because he could make them laugh to forget their troubles. We entered the class to see our new friends just to make acquaintance with them. We were lucky to meet enough guys in the lecture hall just as we prayed for. Ben and I decided to join the guys who were already storming a football debate,make unnecessary noise disturbing the whole block with their male voices. There were some few ladies in the class who were trying very hard to cope with the situation. Finally when the noise became so irritating that they could not bear anymore.... There came a loud feminine voice from behind which sent thrills through my auditory nerves sending sharp noise through my veins making my head to quake abruptly. "Pleeeaaaaasssseeeee, if you guys are not ready to learn,allow those of us who are ready to? ",she asked and fired one up at the same time....... "Who the hell is that B*tch over there",Ben enquired fumingly. 'Don't mind her,she's just looking for our trouble',Enoch said in an undertone. "Did you just call me a B*tch?",the lady inquired......*To be continued *

*****CHAPTER TWO**** ==== Benjie's Hall ==== I was woken up by the brilliant sunshine which walked directly through the curtain to where I slept comfortably flashing on my face like a hunter using a flashlight to search for Snails at dawn. I stretched my hand to drag the cloth to cover my face,shrinking like a mother who did not want to wake up by the lousy cry of her baby. "Mooooorrrrnnnnniiiinnnggg devvvoootttiiiooonnn",another disturbing noise came from nowhere. This time it was from within. I lodged in a Hall together with some other colleagues who were also level 100 students like myself.There were also some seniors who lived with us in the same dormitory unlike it is in the Universities where one was paired with one or two people in a room. The siren had already been rung twice. The siren was located at the upper right corner of our auditorium which was also used as a dinning hall because it could contain all students on campus. Actually,the auditor wasn't used because we had no dinning hall, we did have one but it was too small to contain about six hundred students on campus,comprising of both first and second year students. "Wake up lazy men,u're all pretending like you didn't hear the siren ring",was a loud voice which also came from one of the seniors. I woke up at once like a soldier woken up by his seagent's voice. Don't ask me why I did wake up by hearing the voice of that senior. To be frank with you,that was the voice of one of the unopposed seniors,"Dordor Emmanuel" .One who's name was feared by all level hundred students due to his mear wickedness. He was from Elsbend hall which was above our hall, "Adjikpo". Also beneath our hall was,"Datic Hall".The only male Hall on campus. It was a three story building separated into three Halls. Datic below,Adjikpo in the middle,and Elsbernd Halls respectively. There was also an adjacent two story building,which was "Staebell Hall" and "Noser Hall". The College also had Halls for only ladies bearing the same names like that of the guys I just mentioned. Their Halls can be located just a stone throw behind the Auditorium. Behind the ladies' dormitories was the school park and behind the guys' dormitories was the College's administration block together with the French Block for only level Two Hundred Students. At the left hand side,behind the auditorium was also the General Block for both juniors and seniors, which is also a two story building. The auditorium was blessed with a library beneath it,but currently the Library has been moved to the French Block for level hundred students behind the SRC block which is located at the lower right corner of the College,leaving the Auditorium to be cursed with an Examination block beneath. *I got up,washed my face and brushed before moving to the assembly grounds which was held between the blocks of the College's administration block and the seniors' French block. for the usual morning devotion that faithful Saturday morning. I decided to have the chat with Ben after the Devotional period.......*To be continued*

*****CHAPTER THREE***** I pulled Ben by the shoulder and whispered to him, "we need to talk dude"...'Alright to my room then', he replied... He dragged me as we walked to his room... No sooner had he dragged me than we bumped into the lady he had a grudge with the previous night. She gave us a wirld look and chuckled,"mmmmttttcccchhhheeewwww".... I grasped Ben's hand immediately because I knew he was up for a fight. "Just ignore her okay",I pleaded.He stood still,hissed and said, "you should have allowed me to slap her". "You know how some ladies can tempt you to do something nasty you would regret doing,besides we are not even a month old in this College, what will you say to your parents back home should the principal send you packing?",I asked him. "Alright,Eve...let's not pass where she's heading",He said dragging me and changing the root almost at the same time. *We got to his room,saw many people there...some seniors playing FIFA on a laptop,so he suggested we went to sit under a tree near the famous crocodile pond beside the Hostel block. "Uncle Kofi",is the name of the crocodile. It got its name by one of the Roman priests. "Uncle Kofi",is about forty five years old because it was sent to the College few years after the institution of the College. we used to scrub the pond back then in first year,with "Uncle Kofi still in the pond, but no-one dared to enter the pond when it was hungry,let alone scrub the pond. Anyway,I never took part in any of such scrubbing because I feared for my legs. It wasn't as if it would feed on my legs though,but because I was terrified of its needle teeth. I quiet remember it scrapped the crocodile perfect's hands during our time of honour in second year,something it did most seldomly. Something the crocodile wouldn't do to a familiar person like the "CCP".... (College Crocodile Perfect). He was rumoured to be drunk on that faithful Thursday. He got into the pond and started playing with the crocodile.Maybe "Uncle Kofi" was hungry or better still provoked by his drunkenness...He made a leap on him and gave him a tattoo on the hand. The crocodile feeds on frogs hunted to it by first year students mostly on Saturdays. It also feeds on any life animal including snakes, fowls to mention but few. One unforgettable memory I have of 'Uncle Kofi',is that.... It never ate a pregnant frog when it was placed in the,"Pond of no return"....... *We walked to the pond which had a bench under a tree,sat down and begun the 'boy's talk'....***To be continued***

*****CHAPTER FOUR ***** *"Do you know that Lady who tried to fight me last night?",Ben asked me. "Of course no",I replied. 'Okay,I did a background check on her last night because I couldn't sleep without me knowing her name'. "That's good buddy",I praised him. "Anyway her name is Bernice and she's in first year". 'It's good that you brought her name up because I called you because of that fresher',I retorted. "Really! , I thought you called me here to talk about something better?",he queried. "In fact,you have to take it easy on Bernice for she can send you packing with her tempting behaviour",I adviced. "Thanks my guy, you know it's always good to have you as a friend",he praised me making my head to face to brighten almost at the same time. "Thank you for taking my piece of advice,you no I can not afford loosing a jovial friend like you",I joked. He tapped my shoulder and stood up saying, "hope there's nothing more to say because am starving",he asked. 'No please,lets go get something to eat at the canteen',I suggested,standing up almost at the same time. *The sun was up high in the sky making the day very bright to be mine as I stood on the corridor building castles in the air. "Good morning Ali",was a faint femine voice from behind. I turned only to see that tempting figure behind me. Morning Bernice, "what can I help you with?",I responded and asked in a polite way. "I just wanted to plead guilty about what happened last night",she said in a whispering voice". "Good for you to have that courage because I wouldn't have been able to do that if I were you",I responded with a jovial manner. "Does that mean I'm forgiven?". "Of course dear, go and sin no more",I replied still in a jovial manner. She jumped up high throwing herself up to hug me tight. She made me remember instantly about one of my Dad's advices he gave me before I came to College. He said, "never loose your temper after the plea of a woman for the second time because you may never want to loose a friend just for tempting your fate:for women always fall for a forgiving dude". I was shocked for the fact that she threw herself on me. She offered for her friendship which I granted willingly and verily verily I say unto you, "from that day Bernice and I became the very best of friends on Campus,something I never dreamt of happening. In fact, I know what you must have been saying in your mind, "God works in mysterious ways,because that's what I was going to say too". But always remember this, "keep your friends close,and your enemies closer"......*To be continued *.....

*****CHAPTER FIVE***** *Bernice became a very close friend of mine from that day. We started learning together in class, something most of the guys found hard to believe. I used to escort her to the ladies' dormitory after devotion most of the days way back in College. I remember there was one particular guy who used to stalk Bernice back then. She once told me I shouldn't worry because she had nothing doing with that senior. She confessed that he proposed once to her but she turned him down. With that,i knew I had a chance to try mine too but I was too scared she would turn me down too,breaking my record. No woman has ever turned me down when I proposed to her. I told a couple of guys who advised me to make a move very quickly before someone else makes such a sterning move. I was encouraged by my friends to be bold and spilt it out,so I decided to call Bernice on phone to tell her that I wanted to discuss something important with her. *I called her one evening only to tell her of my discussion with her and she replied by saying,"let's make it tomorrow after devotion(night prayers after preps). *The night was a little bit cold sending thrills to my body. I knew I had a task ahead of me that night. I planned everything I would say during the day. I couldn't even concentrate on learning anything that night during preps. *As I walked with her down the street after devotion she asked me, "dear you wanted to discuss something with me remember? ". I knew I had to open up to her that very instant but didn't know how to start. I gathered my last courage and started ratling. "Bernice,you and I have been good friends like two months now. "I have learnt to know you very well now,what you like and dislike,as you have learnt to know me too. U've shown me love, care ,affection and all a guy would ever want from a pretty damsel like you. "This past few months, I haven't seen you with any guy... Let alone date one."I want you to be my girlfriend,that's if you would find me worthy. "I know I have nothing to offer you,but I promise you one thing, that I would love and cherish you for just who you are. "I would never cheat on you,should you accept me as your guy....I looked into her eyes as I spoke my heart out to her,after which I expected a reply ....*To be continued*

***CHAPTER SEVEN*** #Ali continues his story# She raised up her head,took my hand and proclaimed. "We need to talk Ali,lets make it tomorrow after lectures. My heart bounced like a mouse being given a hot chase by a stingy cat... I knew for sure I hadn't put up suitable words just to win her heart. "Don't worry dear, I just want to make certain things clear before I can think of your proposal... "I have to think carefully about your proposal before I do anything silly with my life. My heart race begun to calm down like Hossen Bolt resting after a hot 100m race. My mind told me that I had a chance but it wouldn't be an easy battle. "If you say so dear,you know by now my intentions for you are genuine: please don't disappoint me. I returned to my Hall drenched with disappointment but I knew all hopes were not lost... The sun had risen up too high making the ironsheets to creak loudly. I couldn't wait to hear her response so I called her after class and she told me to wait for her under the trees, infront of the library which I did. By half past two, I saw her approaching.My only prayer was only one : that she would accept my proposal. I was sitting on one of the seats (lovers' bench) under the tree when she approached me. She greeted me politely,sat down and stirred at me in the eye.... "Ali, I've thought over your proposal you laid before me last night and I've finally decided to accept your proposal.... "You mean to tell me that u've agreed?"... "Yes, I have... She confirmed. "Oooh, thank you Bernice. Gee, I can't believe what am hearing. I knew that instant that I had done what Napoleon couldn't do.I mean to say I won her heart, something even most seniors couldn't achieve. I was very excited that I embraced her tightly. "Wait, wait, wait... There's one big problem I have to discuss with you.... She pushed me gently and I sensed trouble immediately...*To be continued *

***CHAPTER EIGHT*** "Ali,I have a boyfriend in the house but I am ready to trade him for you and I need you to trust me on that. "You have to prove that you really love and care about me other than those mere words you said to me. "I know guys very well,some would come to ladies pretending like they descended from the heavens just to put up a strategy for winning a lady's heart. I was so stunned,i didn't see that one coming. "Really!!, but how could she say such words just to hurt me after she accepted me, I mummered in my head. "I just don't know what else you want me to say before you would believe me. We hugged each other and she left blowing kisses to my trembling mouth... We started dating officially by letting our friends know about our relationship... I introduced her to my friends as my girlfriend and she did same, introducing me to her friends as her new boyfriend... Our relationship on campus was one to talk about. We had our first sex together and it was awesome. I told her of my intention to take her to bed and she asked me to arrange for that. I booked a room outside College and we both ended up lying to visit our cousins just to be in each others arms.We had a great time together .. Our relationship begun to grow until the unexpected happened.... Bernice started lying to me. I sometimes called her only to see her line busy. When I asked ,she would tell me that she was on the line talking to her mum. Sometimes ,she would complain about one of her friends using her line to make a call.Harriet's name was always used for this cunning excuse. This behaviour of her keeping me on hold became very rampant that I started to complain bitterly because I knew I was loosing her slowly ... I was walking down to the lecture hall one Friday evening when I called her,her line was switched off. Suddenly, she used another line to call me only for her to give her normal excuse that Harriet, one of her friends was using her phone to make a call. I was cut off with words when I raised up my head just to respond to that same Harriet greeting me ... She was heading to the ladies' dormitory.I had no other alternative than to ask her... "Good evening Harriet, I responded. "Please were you on the phone with your mum, using Bernice's line. "No please, I was rather learning in the library... "I hope there's no problem Ali, she queried... "Oh no, please you can go now, I see you are briskly heading to the dorm, I replied.... "Okay, but please extend my greetings to your girlfriend for me since I haven't met or seen her in a week after I moved to the next apartment, she retored and asked at the same time... I was very surprised to hear what she said but I knew I had to pretend I didn't hear her speak. "I will dear, have a nice weekend, I replied... "Same to you Ali ,she responded and walked away.... "Chai, so this Bernice girl has been cooking up lies just to cover her ass, abi. "Harriet is no longer staying in her apartment and she always lied to me that Harriet was using her phone always, even until now.... "In fact, some women could be so deceiving,i mummered to myself in an astonished manner planning exactly what to do next... *To be continued *

***CHAPTER NINE*** #Bernice's side of the Story # I was in my room relaxing and listening to music at the same time when I heard a knock on the door. I removed my ear pins from my ears and walked towards the door to find out who was trying to break open into my apartment with an irritating knock on my door. I was thinking it was a junior I had sent some few minutes ago to buy food at the students' canteen for me but as I opened the door I realised I was wrong. It was Harrie (Harriet) my one lost friend.She pushed me aside putting one silly question across as she entered. "Girlfriend, so you won't look for me.Not even a flash if I don't come here looking for you, she queried. "Am sorry dear, I've been a little bit preoccupied with my studies. You know how our examiners can be,very trickish if you don't study,I replied with a pleading voice. She sat on my bed and I knew there was something wrong with with the look I saw drawn on her face. "Harrie,I hope there's nothing wrong with you,I asked searching her face curiously. "I asked your boyfriend to greet you for me, but with the kind of question he asked me.... I knew he wouldn't extend my greetings so I came to ask you if U've done something outrageous to Ali.. Because he was a shadow of himself when I saw him some few minutes ago. "And what exactly did he ask you,i asked. "That if I have been using your phone to make calls to my mum. "Really, so that guy don turn CID abi, trying to investigate into my own private life. "Ma girl, shut up...He's right to know what happens around you because he is your guy. He would be the first person you would run up to should anything happen to you, so is he not right to investigate into your Private affairs since it's obvious you have left him in the dark?".... Huh!,tell me. "What's that supposed to mean Harrie ,must he know everything that happens around me... I asked. "Of course yes, it would be better for you two to open up to each other should a problem occur, so you can put heads together to solve every issue that comes your way. Remember what our elders say, "Ti koro nk) agyina"....(Two heads are better than one). "Thanks girlfriend, apparently am ashamed of myself now. I think I have to start Apologizing to you first before Ali comes next... "I've been cooking up stories using your name as a care off for refusing to receive his calls. "U're forgiven, go and sin no more", she joked.. "Thanks girl, I replied moving to hug her. "You know am not a good liar and pretender like yourself.Seriously you need to give me some tutorials on how you could date four guys in a row without them knowing that u're playing them. What's the name of the last one, I queried twisting my face up to her. "Kennedy, she replied. "You know that guy could be a very good actor one day.He promised to buy dinner for me only for him to call today saying he was at his mum's end attending an uncle's funeral. "my sister, forget that idiot of a guy. That guy is not only a liar but a cheat also.He slept with Esther ,my room mate some few days ago.That's why I left him. ***Chapter Fifteen *** #Ali's Story Continues# *Bernice and I had an outstanding relationship on Campus before a misfortune befell me. I had a call one day from my sister Zennab that my mum had taken ill and been admitted to the hospital. Mum had a heart attack the previous night and was rushed to the hospital that very night. It was such a deep blow to me which jorpadised my studies very much that day the news reached me. I rushed home to visit mum with my junior sister, Zenabb at the hospital who was a shadow of herself. I wept bitterly that faithful Saturday morning I visited my mum at the St. Dominic's Hospital. I spent close to two hours with my mum who managed to talk a bit,advising me on her sick bed. ''Ali, I want you to promise me that you're take good care of your little sister Zenabb. You know the two of you are all that I've got in this world. I want you to promise me that you're use your meagre allawance to support her in her Senior High School if necessary. I promised her that I would help Zenabb complete her Senior High successfully and even support her to continue to any higher institution after she had pass through her programme successfully. Mum thanked me a lot for admitting to accept responsibility as the care taker of my kid sister, Zenabb who happens to be the only sister I've got biologically in this world before my other half sisters in the family. I knew I had to accept Zenabb as my responsibility because my dad's work had broken down which made him incapable of such position. Zenabb and I left the hospital at half past two in the evening and I left for College that same day. The next day which was a Palm Sunday on the Catholic calender, I had a very shocking news of my entire life from my father. He informed me that mum had passed away the very day I left the hospital at exactly five o'clock in the evening. I wept like a baby whose dull had been taken from him as my dad was unraveling to me the whole scene amidst consoling me. My day was mald that day and I refused eating that same day. I remembered the good times I spent with my mum when she was alife. I had a lot of memories to remember that day which reminded me of her till date. I happened informing all my friends in my hall who were around because they asked why I was weeping like a kid. I had a lot of sympathizers that day because my story reached all and sundry even in the ladies' Halls. Bernice was called by my friend Simone who informed her of my bad news. No sooner had the news reached her than we heard some loud knocks on the door. I looked as if the person wanted to break open the door. Simone looked at me and we both knew who was knocking on the door. Simone opened the door and she came rushing to me in tears like she was the one who had lost her mother. "Your friend promised to let me become a richman overnight.He demanded I sent him 50,000gh for an exchange of 150,000gh which I agreed. "I did my part of the deal and that was all, no money returned,the man explained. To my uttermost surprise, Biggie denied ever seeing the man and threatened to call a policeman who was by then directing traffic. The man knowing very well that he would be arrested, pleaded with Biggie to keep quiet. Biggie kept quiet and asked the man to leave the scene which he peacefully obeyed. He cursed Biggie before he left. Immediately the man left, I asked Biggie of the whole story which he narrated to me. "He was one of my clients I robbed some days ago. I gave him 2000gh which was real cash but I convinced him that it was counterfeit. I withdrew the money from the bank which he escorted me to confirm that indeed it was more of real cash other than counterfeit. I asked him to send 5000gh because he wanted to be 150,000gh richer. I asked him to drive me to a nearby bush which he did without hesitation. He took me to that nearby bush where I placed some notes in water for him to watch how the colour turned just for him to believe that they were fake money yet the bank could not detect with their counting machine. Little did he know that I missed some chemicals in the clean water. "I would have called the cops on him, should he have threatened further,Biggie explained. I adviced him to stop that deadly job of his but like always, he was too dumb to comply. "Come to think of it, you wouldn't have told me you were 150,000gh richer if not for that client of yours, would you?, Simone asked. "I was going to tell you about my adventure before that same person I was about telling you showed up. It's strange isn't it, Biggie asked. "Yeah it is, I was about to to dragged to the Police station thanks to you,Simone said. Biggie beseeched me to forgive him which I did easily because he enticed me with 200gh just for me to forgive him. *The following day came sooner than I expected sending sunrays to disturb my sleep. I woke up at half past seven only to find Biggie seated comfortably in the couch with pizza in front of him on the centre table. He was enjoying himself with the Pizza with a bottle of beer in hand and another on the table. I coughed for him to feel my presence in the room. "Simone, you are awake... Come join me. Here is a bottle for you.. Biggie said offering a bottle of vodka to me... I stood there frozen.I was indeed taken aback by his gestures. "Was it not this same Biggie who some few days ago was borrowing Gari from me before he could survive, Simone mummered to himself. "Wonders they say shall never end. I wonder how Bad people like Biggie always become rich overnight and good people suffer. I took the bottle of vodka,searched for the alcohol content which was quite manageable by me and placed it back on the centre table. I did that because Biggie had done it before,sending me back to bed with a bottle of whisky he offered me some time ago without me checking for the alcohol content. I woke up at about 4:30pm that day. He made me not to go for work that day. My Boss was so furious with me the next day I went to work that I almost lost my job. So for this time, I was vigilant because our elders say, "It is only a fool whose testicles are stepped on twice. I tasted some pizza and it was very tasteful after which I took some sips from the bottle of vodka. I took it along with me when I decided to leave his presence, a major rule to be learnt when drinking with a friend. "Trust nobody, because you can be poisoned anytime by a friend just because you trust him, so you leave your beer with him and go to God knows where... [11:40pm, 10/29/2015] Evanz: ***Chapter Twenty One*** Within a week the container was ready. Biggie made a doubble container for his girlfriend Pebbles. He then stocked the container with drinks making it a drinking spot. Her spot became very renowned in the area. Biggie's friends were mostly heard talking about what he had done. Many commended him while most of them rebuked him for making such an outrageous decision. *It was one cool saturday night at Pebbles' store when one of Biggie's friend got drunk and started raining insults on Biggie. Biggie was there at the scene.He got angry and sacked the man. "Remember this Biggie,when a man becomes intoxicated,he has not drunk his mind. What's in his mind that comes out when he is intoxicated. This fraud girl you call Pebbles will show you her real character just one day..the man cautioned and left the scene. Biggie warned him never to step foot at the pub again. This really created a scene and people started to question Biggie's character. Some of his friend's joked that,maybe the man had in mind what he said but due to shyness he coudn't voice it out,so he hired a lawyer(alcohol) who did the speaking for him... Most of his friends and mine joked about the event just to release tension because Biggie was very much infurated...To Be Continued.

Pebbes also denied that I never opened the spot for her but she did build her own spot from her own savings. "Have you called to confirm whether what Goddon said was true?,Simone asked. "Of course dude,i have. "And what did Pebbles say,Simone asked. "Hmm,that's why am crying.I called her at the spot and lo and behold. She pretended not to have even heard the name Biggie before in her life. I had to show her where I lived before she recognised me... I tried telling her what I heard but to no avail. She shut me down and told me that she had nothing to do with me any longer and that "IT WAS OVER. She then hunged up on me.Could you believe that.In fact,i have had the shock of my life. "Biggie,what happened,ure scaring me to death,simone held and shook him. "I was passing by Pebbles store when I say her together with his new bull. I didn't know what pushed me but I found myself in their presence. Dude I mentioned Pebbles name three times but was denied three times just like Peter denied Jesus Christ three times before the cock crowed. I found myself asking unimaginable questions like,what did I do to deserve this from you. Her reply was totally hearbreaking.She denied to his boyfriend,ever seeing me. She thought she could change me to stop frauding only to trick me and fraud me too. "Man,don't go doing anything stupid which you would regret ever doing because I know what u're capable of doing,Simone adviced. He told me never to worry about him. *For weeks,Biggie became sick all because he was thinking about this demon girl called Pebbles. *Biggie became too sick that I had to use some strategy to sack him to stay with his mum. I told him I was going to visit my sibblings in my hometown and I would be long so he should go stay with his mum which he had no option than to oblidge. I just lied to save my a** because that Biggie guy was dying because of heartbreak and I feared he could die in my room. I actually moved to stay with my mum just for him to leave to his mum's and recover.....To be continued.

You called to check up on me all these while you were at your mum's. You still stayed by me,advicing me to stay off Pebbles just to restore my full self. But for Pebbles,i would have been at the morgue. "Man,I don't know what to say.I knew one day she would leave you and you would come to your senses just as you've done now. [12:15am, 11/13/2015] Evanz: ***Chapter two*** I took a taxi straight to the hospital.I hadn't been to the hospital before so I had to ask a couple of guys i saw around who gave me an overview about the wards and how i could access them. Luckily,they took me to a nurse who asked for my boyfriend's name.I hurriedly mentioned his name and she did a cross check in her notebook. She then directed me to ward twenty five.I thanked the guys very much and I begun my search for ward twenty five. There were a lot of patients at the reception waiting for the doctor to call the in turns. "Pebbles !!!,a female voice called me from behind.I turned only to see Lucy standing at an akimbo. What brought you doi here girlfriend,and why are you acting like a child whose toffee has been snatched by an adult, Lucy asked. I had to take my time to explain into details what brougt me to the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital that Godforsaken friday morning but i had no such time to be standing idle,so I asked her to cut the drama and show me where ward twenty five could be found since she was not new in the system. She held my hand and dragged me accross one corner to a very large parlour which led to many wards. We strolled for some few time and there we counted,ward twenty five. I gave a huge sigh and made the cross sign with my fore finger. Lucy knocked and we entered. [4:51am, 11/13/2015] Evanz: I was overwhelmed to see Biggie with bruises on his face and one of his legs hunged in a POP. I cried like a baby on seeing him. There was a nurse attending to his wounds.Like the nurse who attended to his wounds,Lucy consolled me to stop crying. I had to stop because I did not want to wake Biggie up.He was fast asleep. I'd wanted to ask him what really happened which led him to such a fatal accident should he be awake. I had to be patient for him to wake up before i could pose such questions. Just then,my phone begun to ring. I picked up the call and heard my uncle's voice from the other line pleading... I wonder how some nurses pass through nursing training without passing a test on their character. The doctor apologised for her ackward manners... Doctor,what really happened to the young man which has made him almost incapable of walking again",Uncle Ato asked. From my interrogation to him,he nearly crashed with another vehicle. He was very fast and swerve the vehicle,veering from the main road into the bushes. He's such a lucky dude saved by Grace"...The doctor answered. Of course he will but he will stay for not less than three months due to his condition,just pray he wounds heal early"The doctor said. The doctor also thanked me for such a decision and adviced it would even bost him to heal quickly. My uncle offered to bring my dresses from my house and i gave him my key. "You were rused in here after you fainted on hearing that Biggie,your boyfriend had fainted...Lucy replied. "And how's he now,I hope he's fine..Pebbles required. I was told that he was fine and had been sent to another ward for security reasons. "The nurse who watched over him was no nurse at all.She poisoned your boyfriend claiming he dupped her of some money some time go.She was told where He laid by a friend and she tracked him here. Biggie,the guy who had the accident dupped me of 5000Gh some few months ago.He's a fraud,Officers you have to arrest him.This guy came to my shop offering me 100gh cedis.He asked me to spend the money and gave me his number to call him if i needed more. I spent the money and called him in a forth's night.Biggie told me the money he offered was fake but wanted me to see the authenticity of the money.I was shocked to hear him say the money was fake money.I asked him for some more money and he asked me to put 5000gh in an account he gave me for 250,000gh which i did. After i sent the money,i never heard from him again untill today,i saw him on my TV.The news had it that,he had had an accident and was rushed to the Okomfo Anokye Teaching hospital. So i followed up here to make sure he is dead.Luckily for him,the nurse i asked of him told me he was not dead so i decided to take the law into my own hands......The nurse told the police. "I told the alleged nurse that i was going to the ladies' watch room. I came out from the watchroom and was shocked to see her outside tearing the nurse attaire she wore.She was wearing a dress below.I knew from that instant she was no nurse at all so I started screaming". The doctor said he did not recognise her as one of her nurses and i agreed with him because he works with a lot of nurses who work on shifts. So you don't expect him to recognise all their faces. *** Chapter six *** Biggie was discharged from the hospital a week after. *The sun walked directly to my face, waking me up. I knew i had overslept for i usually woke up early because of my work as a bar owner. Customers one could term as drunkards normally bung on my door just to have their local drink at dawn. I heard a slight knock on my door and i knew for sure it was not one of my customers. They would have bung on the door just like my landlady would do when she went round for her rent. I walked to the door,spied through the net gate to see who was behind the door that morning before i opened the door. It was a boy who was sent by a man named Kelvin,one of my friend's friend. Kelvin was waiting for me at the pub according to the boy. I knew Kelvin to be a man of dignity but for what the kid told me i begun contemplating. Did Kelvin send the boy just to buy some drinks,because some of my customers would do same. But for Kelvin,i doubted. Anyway i had to find out myself because he sent a kid,so he could have changed the message. I brushed up and went to my bar to see Kelvin. He was neatly dressed up,wearing a black trouser and a white stripped shirt. Kelvin also wore a black specks which fitted him perfectly. He is a noble man from a very noble family.His looks were just perfect.Kelvin was a gentleman whose character befitted his identity. The kind of man every woman in my neighbourhood would like to have for keeps. He greeted me perfectly with a smile on his face and asked if he could have words with me which i consented. [7:51am, 11/27/2015] Evanz: ** Chapter Seven ** I asked Kelvin to give me a week to think about his proposal which he did. He started making my store his second home.Anytime someone looked for him in his house and he was there,his neighbours directed the person to my shop. Kelvin was fun to be with.I fell for him two days after his proposal. I actually wanted to study him closely before making my decision.I even planned extending the two weeks to a month just to test his love for me. I needed to make sure that I was leaving Biggie for a trustworthy person so I had to use all tricks to test his temper,his love,patience and all that I needed from him before I could accept him to be my man. He scored 95 on my checklist which included his manners in public,speech and most of all his love for me,Pebbles. Sometimes,a man has to be patient in order to win a woman's heart. The day was still young.Birds were seen singing praises in the sky. The sky was furious with rain clouds walking helter skelter. It was seven in the morning.The cock had already crowed waking me up with that irritating sound. I jecked off,blushed and move straight to my pub. It was around eight in the cloudy morning when Kelvin came to my pub. I knew I had kept him waiting for long because it was three weeks now. I offered him a chair after we exchanged pleasantries. [3:59am, 11/28/2015] Evanz: *** Chapter Eight The following morning came with lots of courage in me. I woke up before six in the morning,did some house chores very early. After which I planned visiting Biggie for a discussion. After bathing some hot water which I boiled because the weather had changed from wet to dry season,I sat down to plan what I would discuss. "How should I even start.Biggie had done so much for me.He brought many more improvement to my life. He was like the father I never gained after dead eluded my dad away,and to pay him back with his own coin would be very unlawful. A man who had showed me so much love and compassion. He stood by me through thick and thin,put up a pub for me when I was jobless. Come to think of it,i had dated four guys before Biggie but none of them fought over me when matters got worse and I was leaving them for good. I knew right away that Biggie was much in love with me more than I ever imagined so I wasn't suprise he fought over me the previous day...Pebbles imagined. I needed to go see him,to plead with him to let go off me even when I still loved him. For I knew my uncle would never receive him as an in-law should he try marrying me,because I knew my uncle very well. He would not condemn Biggie to me only to praise him when he had made known his intention to marry me to him. He would never accept Biggie into our family because to him,fake guys like Biggie were not capable of having a peaceful marriage. They will always be bothered with calamities befalling them. I got out from my appartment at half past six in the morning,ready to leave for Biggie's house for the discussion. I had done all my chores at dawn because I knew I would be long at Biggie's appartment for the talk.... I heard Biggie's masculin voice behind not long after I had turned to go. He came crushing down in front of me,pleading with me to hear him out,but I was very much infuriated to hear any deceiving word from a man who nearly died in battle because of me. Biggie grasped my hand not to let me go unless I had let him say whatever he pleaded to say and I had to let go of my anger and hear him out. He pleaded that we go to his room to discuss matters there which I refused because I was very much annoyed with Lucy. Lucy was approaching us and I asked Biggie to her not to come any closer to me for I felt nothing but hatred for her. "I am very much sorry for causing such a silly scene here this morning. I asked Lucy to come very early today for a talk about what happened the other day. I knew that she was the only one among your friends I could confide in to get to you. I needed her to plead on my behalf.She even protested on coming here early and asked what she was supposed to say,should you see her here. She also said she would be living very early for her University education and I know you will also leave tommorrow to visit your mum,that is why I called her very early this morning to ask her plead to you on my behalf. Pebbles was so much in love with me not because I had money to sponsor her but because I helped her get a job which she was desperate to acquire and now she wanted to pay me back with my own coin,"no woman dates and dumps me. If she thinks she has succeeded in breaking up my heart,is a lie because Lucy was in to fill her place. I just wanted to plead on her behalf,so that she did not loose her best friend Pebbles.That is why I created such lies to save her. Lucy was Pebbles best friend.When I started hearing voices that Pebbles was dating another guy,I made my own investigations and saw that it was true. There was even a time I followed Kelvin's car to a hotel.Pebbles sat in that car too,which made me to draw my own conclusion. She cheated on me with my own friend Kelvin.Which is why I planned dating her best friend,Lucy...."Tit for tat" they say. I really didn't mind what she would think of me when she heard such news.I actually knew she would be very much disappointed in me as i was as much disappointed in her too. At first,I planned forgiving her but she started spreading rumours about me.A friend of mine once told me that he was at Pebbles' pub one day when a guy asked her why she left me,Biggie. She exclaimed to him,"that good for nothing fraud guy who could not even afford his own bills,how did you expect him to pay mine. Another guy asked why she was still using Biggie's properties which was the pub after dumping him.Her response was that,I was not the one who built that pub for her. **** Chapter Eleven **** I knew it was Pebbles because I knew her voice and I could recognise it where ever I hear it. I opened the door and I was wrong.It was the landlady together with his son,brother Augustine who stood behind her.They brought words that a tenant's money got missing last Saturday when Lucy was sleeping in my room.The money was 500gh. A boy about eleven years old whose name they did not mention proclaimed he saw Lucy come out from the landlady's son's room so they came to ask her whether she entered that particular room the child confirmed she saw her coming out from. The landlady started saying all sort of words.The very one which provoked me the most was when she said,nobody's money had been stolen for the past three months. In actual sense,she was referring to Lucy to be a thief which annoyed me the most.I turned to see Lucy crying and I was short of words.I knew she was never a thief. "I even left about 1000GH on the center table the previous day before the incident happened which was on Friday.I was to send money for my uncle but because I was in a hurry I forgot the money on the center table. This same thief you are referring to took the money and brought it to me at the bank where I was to send the money to my Uncle,so if she was a thief,would she had returned it",Biggie asked the landlady. "For that we cannot tell,but what I can recall is that for the past three months and over,we have never recorded such theft case in this house so we came to ask her what exactly she was doing in that room,that moment. I asked them to come inside the room and ask her themselves.They entered and sat on the couch. " Please don't cry,for I do not believe what they just said.Its just a frame up. I had to use persuasive words to calm Lucy down.What touched me most was that,had it not been me,Biggie who called her to come sleep over,she would have escaped such a catastrophical scene. Lucy was never a thief.I don't know why they implicated her in such a case.I had to get to the root of this matter because they had disgraced me. Lucy herself was about to leave that very morning had it not been the tragical news the landlady and his son brought.So I had to stop her from going so we could get the truth out of the matter which she oblidged. I had to ask around whether I could get a name to the boy they mentioned but to no avail. Not even a soul in the neighbourhood could come up close and personal to mention the boy's name or give me a clue as to how he was like. I decided to stop asking around and go back home.No sooner had I turned to move back home than I heard a male voice claiming he could describe the boy....To be continued*

***Chapter Thirteen*** The man approached me and said his name was Eric.He asked me to buy a bottle of Guiness for him before he would talk. I agreed and we went to a pub nearby.At first he proposed we went to pebbles' pub for the discussion but I refused.He asked why and I had to lie about me not letting pebbles hear what ever he was about to discuss and made him to promise which he humbly did. Mr.Eric was an old huge figure who seemed to be in his late fifties because he carried gray hair on his head which could also be found in his mustache. As we sat in the pub,he ordered for his bottle of Guinness and I was surprised at the way he did it.He just raised a finger to the bar man and it was brought to him. I thought it was a normal routine so I did same,but to my surprise,a waiter came standing beside me and asked what he should offer me. I need a bottle of fine guiness ",I responded.Mr. Eric laughed.The waiter brought me the bottle of Guinness and I grasped his hand when he turned to walk away saying," Is he really a customer here. His respond was affirmative and he also confessed Mr.Eric usually orders for a bottle of Guinness whenever he came to their pub.I released his hand and asked him to attend to other customers which he did. I asked Mr.Eric to start telling me about the boy in question but he preferred sharing with me the whole stole which I was graceful to hear. "Your landlady called last Sunday telling me about the theft case in your house.I asked whether her husband had heard anything about such case but she told me she didn't bother telling her. She brought words that Augustine her son who also stays in the house you reside complained of a boy who said saw your alleged girlfriend,Lucy coming out from his apartment. I asked of the boy and she described him to be a boy of about thirteen who attends school at Presby JHS.He is dark in complexion but she neither gave a name nor his form. I then told your landady not to worry.I would sermon other elderly men in the neighbourhood and discuss the issue at length. We would call her the next day which was on Monday. I thanked her very much for giving me such accord,and i promised to solve the issue with the other elderly men and I strongly warned that she should not cause any scene which could complicate the issue at hand.What I feared is what she just did.....To be continued***

***Chapter Fourteen*** What the Landlady did was very aborminable.She just wanted to disgrace Lucy I guess.Already,she pressured her to scrub the bath house,the very first day she saw her in the house. Lucy complained to me and I beseeched her to do what she asked for peace to prevail.She humbly obeyed and did the scrubbing. In fact, I have never seen a visitor made to scrub a bath house in a compound house before,but I knew the landlady was up for my trouble which she did not succeed. They said a child saw her enter Bro Augustine's room and then they are suspecting her for taking Bro Mike's money. Making Lucy a prime suspect for a crime she knew nothing about is uncalled for...Biggie elaborated. "Yeah,I know your landlady is very troublesome but come to think of it,what if your girlfriend did enter the room.For now,she has no witness but for them,they have an eye witness who is the boy. ****Chapter Fifteen**** I thanked Mr Eric a lot for his advice.We also talked a lot about other stuffs and he made me explain why Pebbles and I separated which I did because he was very much intoxicated. After paying for the drinks I had to hire a taxi for myself and him which conveyed us to our various destination because he was much drunk now after taking six bottles of beer and I was very much boozed myself. Since there is a saying that,two drunkards cannot lead a way,I had to call in Akwasi my driver who was very much available whenever I needed his services. As we sat in the car,I had to think about the whole theft case all over.I felt very guilty for all what was happening to my dear Lucy. Had it not been me,Biggie she wouldn't have found herself in such a thight corner. I vowed ever to draw her out from such a set up plan organised by the landlady spearheading. I knew it was a set up plot by my enemies and I was sure Pebbles by now was laughing at me should she hear this. I knew it wasn't Lucy who took the money but I had to consider Mr Eric's advise too. As the elders say"the human head is not pawpaw for one to break it one and see what was inside. It could be that,the one am protecting now has taken the money.I would rather defend her than to condemn her. In fact,Lucy is never a thief,even though humans are not to be trusted but for some instances you can bet on the person you know. **** Chapter Sixteen **** I was walking down through the slum to my house when I heard someone call my name.It was Lucy's father seated together with some elders. I greeted them and Lucy's father asked me to tell the elders what Lucy's mother told me on the phone the previous day. She threatened that she would pay the money and find out who took the money. The day she gave to pay back the money had passed,yet the money had not been paid. She also complained that,Lucy belonged not only to her but to her father also,so they should share the money and pay because she did not have such an amount. Her mother promised to give her some money but couldn't fulfill her promise.Since her mother couldn't give her the money she promised,she gave 200GH to Lucy's father from her petty trading but her father did not add a penny to the money,instead he gave the money to the family head to be given to Bro Mike. The other elders started exchanging faces raising eye brows.Some critised Lucy's father for not adding the rest of the money while some also supported him. Those who supported him said that,since Lucy's mother threatened Bro Mike to pay the money,she should be made to bear the cost alone because she made it known to all and sundry that she could foot the bill all by herself. Those in favour of her also said,she made an attempt paying the money but couldn't get the money.Yet she paid some with the capital she gets. Unlike Lucy's father, she tried making an effort to pay.She was also right to say that Lucy's father should pay part of the money because the elders say,when a gun strikes,it falls on the chest of a man. One of the elders even suggested that Lucy's mother's money should be given to her and her father made to pay the full bill because in the Akan community,when a man marries a woman and gives birth with the woman,he is made known that when the woman or the children brings something good,it is for the mother and the children but when something bad happens,the man bears the cost..... *****Chapter Seventeen***** The discussion was very lengthy and finally they arrived at a decision that,Bro Mike should be called and the elders plead on Lucy's behave because the man had two intentions in mind. Either his money was to him or he would let the police arrest Lucy for court because he had a genuine case. That could send Lucy to prison for a very long time because one of the elders said that Bro Mike together with one of his friends went to Lucy's workplace with a policeman about three day's ago with the sole intention of arresting Lucy and lock her behind bars. Unfortunately for her,she had been sent by her madam so she was not there at the moment. The other workers started to think that some computers which were stolen some time ago could be Lucy. He was passing by and saw such scene so he went in to plead on Lucy's behalf. He pleaded with the workers that the case should not be sent to Lucy's madame which could end her carrier but be made to be solved by elders in the community. He promised Bro Mike to make Lucy's parents pay the money which somehow calmed him down. I never knew the case went that far until the elders broke such disastrous words to me. I would have paid the money if I had some but for Pebbles,I had stopped the frauding business. I used the whole money I saved investing into Pebbles' business and had nothing left. The elders asked me to tell Lucy not to sleep in my room because Bro Mike was up for her arrest that night. They promised to give feedback to me because they were going to hold a meeting with Bro Mike to withdraw such threat and also plead for him to give them some ample days to raise the rest of the money.... I told Lucy of the new development but she refused to move an inch from the room because she was already fed up with the theft case which entangled her. We were arguing in the bedroom when I had a call.It was Lucy's father,Mr.Adjei calling. I remembered that instant that the elders said they would inform me of any new development after they had tried pleading with Bro Mike for some few more days to be given us to raise the money. I picked up the call and he narrated everything that happened under the meeting that evening. He said it was not an easy battle for them trying to convince him for some few days to be given us to raise the rest of the money. At last he gave in to their plea and gave us up to Wednesday to raise his money which amounted 500GH. He also told the elders when they asked him whether what they heard about him reporting the case to the police for Lucy's arrest that night was true. He confirmed that the rumours were true but promised call them to stop the arrest for that night. I was very much happy to hear that.Mr. Adjei asked me to tell Lucy about the new development that she could stay and sleep over which I refused. I never told her that the police were not coming that night because she had already made up her mind not to leave so there was no need for me to inform her. My only worry was where to get the rest of the money.Any way, I told Lucy that they gave us to up to Wednesday for the money. My only problem now is how to raise 500GH before Wednesday. The only person who could help me was Pebbles who did not even want to see my face. I decided to take the bulls by the horns after a long thought. My mind scanned through all my friends who had disappointed me because they initially warned me against dating Pebbles in the first place. I just didn't want to approach her because I feared she could make a mockery at me.So I initially did not want to approach her for any money. *****Chapter Nineteen**** There was no need going to see Pebbles for a loan.My mind was already made up after several thoughts. What would people think of me,most of them would say"Pebbles was right to leave him,after all he could not sought out his problems as a man indeed. *I was woken up by the early morning sun which walked straight up to me through the window,slapping me on my cheek. I was very much infuriated at it after I tried dodging the alarm clock I set which was supposed to wake me up at seven by covering my ear with my fore fingers. I woke up lackadaisically after the early morning sun had spoiled my life changing dream. I had a dream that a man unknown to me gave me me two numbers,48-83 to stake and win as my Christmas gift.He said he would call me to find out how much I've won after the winning numbers had been pronounced. The Godforsaken sun spoilt it all when I reached the section of the dream where my new girlfriend was going to kiss me for the first time in history... I was very much obsessed with this awkward behaviour of the sun slapping me by the cheek which made me to open one eye,spoiling the dream. At that very moment too,my phone beeped.It was a call from one of my allies who was a Crown Chief. I usually called him Nana Kay,trying to shorten his long name;Nana Kwesi Ofori II. Nana Kay was my Lotto friend.This man gave me some two numbers he called ''sure banker'',which made me to become very popular last Christmas. He was calling that same Christmas Eve like the preceding year,to give me those two magic numbers again. Nana Kay gave me two numbers to stake which were,49-83.These numbers confused me.I mean to say his numbers and mine. Nana Kay had never deceived me when it comes to staking Lottos. What made me believe him the more was how his numbers were almost close to mine. I took my bath and dressed up to stake the numbers.As I gallivanted through the streets trying to locate a Lotto kiosk,I was wondering whether to stake Nana Kay's numbers or my dream numbers. Luckily,I found one Kiosk and approached it to stake the numbers. I staked Nana Kay's magic numbers with my last 20GH with the sole aim of getting money to pay off Bro Mike,the man whose money had been stolen by God knows who. My mind told me to split the money into two and stake both mine dream numbers, 48-83 and 49-83 or stake three numbers,48-49-83 since the last numbers were the same 83. I ignored my dream numbers and staked Nana Kay's numbers,49-83 with the last 20GH I had in my pocket. After which I went to the house and slept to for sometime.I woke up at exactly 2:30pm to go watch a football match and returned around 4:00pm . I was eluded by sleep and about Seven, I was woken up by my phone. I stretched my hand to pick up the phone from the center table as I was sleeping on the couch. No sooner had I picked the call than a masculine voice came through saying,"Biggie... I've won one hundred and fifty thousand Ghana chopperable Cedis,how much did you win. By the way,I hope you staked the numbers I gave you in your dreams. The message hit me like I had been given a pounch by Fylord Maywheather himself. "Whaaaaattttt,what did you just say,am dead...were the exact words which came out from my mouth. My only hope was that,the Holy blessed Mary should make the words that I heard on phone to be just a mockery to my winning a colossal amount of 2,000GH Cedis. As I run helter skilter,I touched my pocket to have a feel of my phone but felt that nothing was in my pocket. I placed my hand in my pocket and it was nowhere to be found. I wasn't bothered much because I remembered leaving it on the couch where I slept before receiving the call. As the news hit my heard,I could no longer think of any other thing than to grab my shirt and run out. So it was no news my phone was not in my pocket when I checked. I run till my swift legs could carry me no more.I stopped several times before I found a Lotto Kiosk where I least expected. I heard someone saying the winning numbers which made my heart to bounce. I however ignored him and approached the lotto kiosk to see for myself,the winning numbers. I refused to agree to what the man said because the monkey said,my eyes are my oracles,seeing is believing". Even though my chances of winning were minimal,my only prayer was to see the numbers that i staked,scribbled among the winning numbers. There were many people in front of the kiosk where the winning numbers are usually written but because I wanted to see for myself,I strived pushing people aside,so I could have a clear view. As I approached the kiosk,I could not bear seeing the numbers any longer which made me to faint;27-3-48-83-74 were the winning numbers scribbled in front of the lotto kiosk. "He is awake,you should all come and see him for he is awake....Hurry,call the doctor too.Lucy screamed calling the other visitors which included my mother,Lucy's father and some few of my friends who came to visit me. ****Chapter Twenty One**** The following morning came with so much sadness in me.I felt like crying that faithful Tuesday morning. I knew that I had blown my chances of winning money to pay the money stolen.Only God could turn things around. As I thought of all that had happened,I had a call that Kwesi one of my friends had died. The person who called me asked when I would be available for the funeral because the funeral would be on Friday. "So Akwesi had died for a long time and you are now telling me huh!.How could you be so wicked Ernest. I thought we were friends...Biggie asked hitting his lips. " I just saw the poster this morning my guy.I went to the public toilet and saw it on the wall. I was socked to see Akwesi pronounced dead and never believed the story line until the woman who sold papers at the public toilet narrated every bit of Akwesi's dead case to me....Ernest explained. She hit me with the news that,Akwesi was involved with a theft case.He had stolen a man's money in his neighborhood. The man approached him and asked him to return his money but Akwesi refused ever seeing the man's money,let alone taking it. He asked him for about three times,yet Akwesi denied stealing his money. The man then went to a Mallam and struck him dead.The woman told me that Akwesi just died last wednesday but because his death was not a natural one,the family had decided to burry him on Friday....Ernest elaborated. I was gripped with fear on hearing the news.So Akwesi died for his own mistake,were the words which propped out of my mouth. I told Ernest that I would be available for the funeral on Friday and thanked him for his explanation before I hunged up. Like Thomas in the Bible,I could not still believe Akwesi was dead.So I promised myself to attend the funeral and see for myself his corpse. If it was really true that Lucy was the one who took the money,she too could be struck dead should Bro Mike decide to use the native way. I was not ready to loose Lucy because of the love I had for her was exceptional. I won't be able to live in this wicked world for her blood would be on my hands. Even though I wouldn't be blaimed by others for killing her but I would rather blaim myself should anything happend to her because I was the one who brought her to the house in the first place. I had to find a way to prevent such mess I had created for myself. *Never date your ex girlfriend's friend.The outcome does not turn out to be positive always. ****Chapter Twenty Two**** I was trying to think hard who this person of a lady decided to visit me at this juncture of my life. As the nurse went out to call the visitor,I was trying hard to guess who this visitor might be...I had my heard bent down. "Hellooow big Bro,how are you faring,was a feminine voice which approached me. I was very much dismayed to see my long lost sister,Evelyn who approached me when I raised my head up. Evelyn travelled to Germany for about eleven years without even contacting me on the phone. She had never been to this country until now. I never thought of hearing from her come to think of seeing her after all those eleven years. " So you were alive all these years,were the words which came out from my mouth.She hugged me with so much remorse in her eyes saying, Big Bro, it wasn't me.You know my style,just that I had a lot going on around me.I had to work arund the clock trying to secure a green card and all that. We will discuss that later,now come to think of it,why are you in this hospital"...She asked. She raised an eye brow and said that she never thought of me fallen in love with a woman let alone dying for one. I told her how things had changed in my life as I took my time to update her of all the happenings.She was very much interested in my love life than my naughty lifestyle when I was a fraud,a cheat for that matter. She became very furious when I reached the point where Pebbles and I broke up. " Even though she left me with nothing in my pocket,I have now found the love of my love,Lucy....Biggie said just to calm her sister down. "But Bro,who is this Lucy girl you seem to be very much interested in... Evelyn finally asked. She came as an Angel to me,wipped all my tears,helped me to forgive and forget all Pebbles had done to me. But I tell you this sis,I can forgive her and in fact I've forgiven her but never can I forget what she did to me.People thought I was the bad one but I tell you this,not even my closest friend Simon could believe that Pebbles left me for another guy after all that I did for her. ***Chapter Twenty Three*** There is a saying that,when you mention someone's name and the person does not appear then it means that something unthinkable has happened to that person. Beloved,that saying is very true.It was Lucy at the door when my sister Evelyn stood up to check who was at the door knocking. She made way for her to enter.Lucy came in with food in a basket and some fruits as she promised me the previous day to bring me my favourite food. She hugged and kissed me passionately which made Evelyn to clear her throat. I knew by now she had her suspicion cleared that it was Lucy who visited.Quickly I did some introduction before those ladies could fight over nothing because I knew Lucy thought otherwise. I never knew women could sometimes think negative for their guys even at their sick bed.I knew Lucy kissed me because of her own suspicion. After the introduction,Lucy confirmed hearing a lot about Evelyn from me. "He always talked about you;how he helped you acquire a German visa and you ignored him until now.In-law, you did not do well at all....Lucy rebuked. Evelyn bowed her head down in shame pleading for mercy and promised to make it up to me because she came just because of me. She also promised to give 50,000GH to me so I could start doing something for myself. I was taken aback just by the mere mention of such an extensive amount.I wanted to jump up high on the bed,but for my leg which was bandaged with P.O.P,I just had to remain calm. I asked Lucy to help me thank my sister Evelyn.Lucy by then had knelt down and was singing melodious praises to God. She stood up and worshipped Evelyn three times by kneeling and standing before she greeted her and blessed her for her words. Evelyn handed over a check of the 50,000Gh she just promised to me and Lucy jumped up high hugging her. It just felt like I was dreaming,me Biggie handed 50,000GH choppable Cedis.God was really wonderful sending my own lost sister as an Angel to rescue me when all my hopes were totally lost. God can restore hope when there is no hope.Just then, I heard voices approaching my ward. They knocked and entered all smiling. No one needed to tell me to hide the check.I raised my pillow and his it under the pillow. I asked Lucy's father how far the case had reached and he was cut in when he made an attempt to talk by my mother,Untie Maggie. "Biggie,your prodigal sister paid off the 500gh and returned the 200gh we gave to Bro Mike to me.She has really been a God sent to us....Untie Maggie replied with joy and esctasy. I thanked Evelyn once again for her kindness shown me.I thought I had no hope but for now my enemies had been put to shame. The doctor came in with good news that I would be discharged and could walk again a week from that faithful wednesday morning which was to be the worst day ever in my life..... ****Chapter Twenty Four**** ===The Ghost On Wall Street=== I Simon, returned from a long trip to my mum's and heard all the happenings in my house.I was very much infuriated that I wanted to pack out and leave the apartment immediately. I was very much infuriated with Biggie for not informing me of the happenings. He replied when I asked him by saying that he did not want me to come down from where I was only to cause a scene. But for Biggie,I would have approached the Landlady and her son and what would have happened there,only God knew. Instead of me leaving,Biggie decided to leave and stay with his mum for the time being before he hired an apartment for himself and his new concubine to live in. I arrived from my mum's place on Thursday,a day before Akwesi's funeral.Biggie called me to the occasion.I was very much unhappy when he pronounced Akwesi dead on the phone. I did not want to miss his burial which could even allow his ghost to be at logger heads with me. Akewsi's funeral rite came with so much people in town.One could find his long lost friends where he least expected that day. There were so many youth in town that day gracing the occasion with their black and red "Brisi and Kobin"(Funeral attires usually on during funerals),which were worn by more than half of the population who attended the burial. There was a massive "wake keeping"(An occasion performed for the dead which allowed him to be laid in state for visitors who wanted to see him to do so before he is burried the next day)....The rite is performed through out the night. Little did I know that,the youth of today had turned such an occasion into a joyous one.Usually,there is a background music which prevents boredomness and sleep. The music played mostly were folk songs and dirges which mostly remembered those who knew the deceased which allowed them to weep. But for now,the youth of today have turned such a memorable occasion into a joyous one.It is not mostly the DJ's fault to play such music,because if he doesn't no one would stay there long for the occasion to end. Instead,the DJ is falsed to play all kinds of music ranging from " Hip life to Azonto music which allowed the youth to danse till mummy called. Instead for them to remember the deceased with folk songs and dirges,they play music which could make the ghost of the deceased to wake up from his slumber and weep because no living soul would want people to be happy during his "wake keeping". Akwesi's colleagues from Senior High refused to allow the ambulance convey the copse to the cemetery to be hurried.Instead they preferred carrying the coffin on their mascular shoulders to the funeral. The burial which could have lasted for at least thirty minutes,lasted for an Hour because Akwesi's colleagues who refused to allow the Haise carry the copse to the cemetery for burial,delayed us. They were all a bunch of drunkards carrying the coffin to the cemetery.Imagine drunkards carrying a Coffman to the cemetery. The whole crowd became annoyed with their ackward behaviour that they had to allow other colleagues who where not drunk carry the corpse. Even with that,there were confusion among the colleagues because the drunkards carrying the corpse did not want to leave the coffin for those who were not drunk. We had to solve the issue for an extra thirty minutes before the drunkards allowed us to carry the coffin.They turned to sing dirges behind us till we reached the cemetery. *Never allow school drunkards to carry a coffin to the cemetery for burial.You can try it if only you are not in a hurry to burry the corpse and escote visitors who helped you burry your beloved. The corpse was buried at exactly half past four with the Catholic Priest giving his final prayer to the copse before he was finally buried. The crowd returned to Akwesi's family house with most of the still annoyed with his colleagues who carried the corpse. The drunkards had delayed the visitors who planned on leaving to their various homes that day. They were all given apartments to sleep in because they could not travel. Akwesi's family house was not closer to mine,it was just some stone throw from where I lived. *That unforgettable Friday night,Biggie woke me up to hear the strange voice of a supposed ghost crying and shouting for people to help him beseech the man who killed him not to kill him. Such noise woke everyone in the neighborhood but nobody came out for fear of coming into contact with the Ghost on Wall Street. I recall hearing voices like,"Pleas help me,I didn't steal his money...plllleeeeaaaaasssss !!!! somebody hhhhhhheeeeeelllllppppp mmmmmeeeeee !!!!! Then I also heard the ghost pushing a bench on the floor.Meanwhile,the dogs in the neighborhood were backing. *****CHEATERS BOOK 3***** =====THE GHOST ON WALL STREET===== Biggie hugged me shivering like a mouse which had seen a snake approaching.Biggie and I were frightened to death. The ghost decided to stop which allowed us to sleep till the day was young.Biggie slept hugging me tightly and quivered till the day was young. The day came with so much noise by the other tenants on the compound.They all complained hearing someone scream throughout the night beseeching them plead with the person who wanted to kill him to leave him alone. The tenants were confused which that person might be.Most of them figured out that it could be Akwesi's ghost which was supported by many of them. A tenant Natasha closer to our house,said she saw Akwesi with her own naked eyes after returning from a church conference a few yards to her house.She was confused after hearing the news that morning that Akwesi was dead and had been burried the previous day. According to Natasha,she had not been in town for three days and that she was returning from the church conference only to see Akwesi in a white gown passed by her without a word. She was puzzled Akwesi kept his head down and was walking to our compound from his mother's compound.She knew something was not right but she couldn't figure out what was wrong so she tried calling Akwesi but to no avail. The other tenants could only believe her confession because they saw sores on her mouth.Natasha was with sores on her mouth,something which confirmed that she really saw a ghost. Many of the tenants also complained of hearing voices they believed to be Akwesi's voice,screaming,pushing benches and banging on people's doors. Some said that,maybe Akwesi's ghost did not like the way he was hurried and others complained of how the ghost came to their house but not the killer's house or neighborhood. "Maybe,the killer was not who people suggested him to be;he might live right among us,most of the tenants revealed. If the killer was not on Wall Street,what then brought the Ghost to Wall Street,people begun to grumble on such debates. I noticed that I was not the only person terrified by that nightmare banging on my door that night which encouraged me to say my own side of the story. After narrating my side of the story,the tenants begun teasing Biggie.One lady said that she could not live with a man like Biggie who is frightened by just a bang on the door.The other tenants started to laugh and make a mockery of Biggie and I also joined in the laughter.Just then Biggie called me aside and wanted to talk to me about something....To be continued*

=====CHAPTER TWO===== Immediately I turned to see him,I figured out that he was scared.Biggie pulled me to a corner and said he wanted to leave the house immediately. He explained that he was very much astonished to every bit of the stories the neighbors were discussing and he could no longer live in such a scary house not to talk of the ghost involved. I giggled at him wanting to laugh out loud but the news hit me like a bomb thrown to an unaware robber.I was very much mesmerized with his sudden made up mind to leave. I wouldn't be able to live in my apartment alone.Which meant that I had to do everything possible to retain him.So I had to formulate something to tell him. "Biggie,I know that you are scared but please don't leave me here for I am scared also.I plead with you to occupy my apartment with me. Please don't leave me for I cannot stay here alone.We would be better staying here together than you leaving which would allow the ghost to frighten me the more. I never knew I could change my friend Biggie's mind but it worked after I had denied following him to his mum's place to stay there for some time. He finally gave in to my plea but swore that should he hear anything about the ghost issue again,he would be forced to pack out of my apartment either alone or I followed suit. I was very much relieved of his statement that I hugged him promising Biggie to follow him to his mum's should the ghost appear anywhere on Wall Street. It was Sunday when Biggie woke me up about twelve midnight to hear the howling of the wind like it was about to rain that night. There were thunder strikes here and there just to make sure that it was about to rain.I felt like urinating that instant which made me jump off the bed ready to move out and urinate. As I jumped off the bed looking for my slippers,Biggie cautioned me to be careful outside as it could be Akwesi's ghost outside rather than a mere cloud gathering up high in the sky ready to pour down as rain. I was very much sure it was clouds gathering up in the sky ready to rage on the ironsheets as downpour so Biggie was way out of contest trying to choose some suitable words just to scare me. Goats could be heard bleating loudly outside and running to and fro just to find some shelter which could save them from the heavy downpour which was about to commence. Fowls could also be heard making noise on an orange tree behind my apartment.They seem to be struggling for spaces to perch on the orange tree as the howling of the wind got stronger. As the door creaked for me to step out,I was frightened by dogs backing from the neighboring houses but I did not pay much attention to them. I stepped out of the house behind my apartment under the orange tree where the fowls were struggling to get hold of a branch just to perch on to urinate. No sooner had I started urinating than I was moved to raise my head.I saw a figure in a white gown like a guy with his head down approaching me from Akwesi's family house. I turned in a frightened motion and run as fast as I could to my apartment locking the door firmly behind me.I peed on my trouser forgetting to even close my flap that Biggie had to remind me.I however ignored him and jumped to bed. Biggie started bombarding me with a whole lot of questions but I ignored him and pulled the blanket to cover my whole body ceasing my ears with my palms to block the echoing of dogs barking outside......To be Continued*

*****CHAPTER THREE***** The next day came quickly than I expected.Biggie asked what I saw the previous night which made me to run back to the room and I knew I owed him an explanation. "Man,what I saw that night was too much for me,that was why I bolted away to the room...Simone said. Boy,what did you see..Biggie asked". " Like the tenant,I saw a man dressed in a white gown with his head down.I did not see his face but from the way he was walking briskly towards me,I was very much afraid.That is why I run like a hare forgetting to even close my flap. Biggie had his mouth wide open for some time and said,"Dude we need to leave this place and stay with my mum,are you coming or not... "Must you ask me,in fact am with you on this one.Let's get the crab out of here man.This place is too scary.So we left my apartment to live with Biggie's mum. I was woken up by Biggie the next day about nine in the morning .He was with my phone in his hand and the phone was ringing.It was Lucy on the phone. She was crying.When I asked why she was crying,she broke in with the news that,Pebbles met her in town and blasted her for being a boyfriend snatcher. She created a scene disgracing her at the market square that she could no longer bear the disgrace so she left the scene to a friends place only to inform me. I wondered why Pebbles could not allow sleeping doors lie.Why was she still pestering with my life.Was she still in love with me or she just wanted to ruin my love life totally. Maybe she was disgusted whenever she saw Lucy approaching,I begun asking myself with such questions. Lucy had brought nothing but joy in my life and I was not going to allow Pebbles or any other person ruin that.It is said,when a person pushes you to have a life you shouldn't push that same person to face death". I meant to say I would stay with her through thick and thin and would not like any destructor to come between us. I got out from bed very furious and Simone realised something was not right but didn't know what so he called me from the couch as he lied on it. Judging from my facial expression, he knew I was up for a fight so he asked me to sit on the couch as he sat down well persuading me to tell him exactly what had happened. I took a deep breath and narrated everything Lucy complained to me about Pebbles to Simon.He told me to calm down and pleaded with me not to go cause a scene out there. Pebbles' stars helped her that day.I would have beaten the hell out of her that day.But for Biggie I would have beaten her till I was taken custody by the police....To be Continued*

I had my mind made up to visit Pebbles in her appartment,something I thought less of.I actually made up my mind to visit her in the morning when Simone stopped me,so I had another plan of visiting her at night surprising Simon and herself. As I got ready to face her,I knew I had to plan everything perfectly just not to spark up a fight.You know some women can be skeptical especially when the love for you is long gone. I locked the door but immediately I burnt down to hide the key under the brick,at the usual place where we hid the key,I heard Simon call me from behind. I tried lying but my friend who knew me more than myself caught me with just a stir on my face. " Guy,can't you make this tomorrow, I meant to say you should not visit her at this time of the day.You should not visit that lady in her apartment especially when it's dark.She's your ex remember,if she still needs you she will tempt you. Please don't created another scene just by visiting her this night.You know how the neighbors around us can talk.Even what they've not seen,they prepare a story out of it let alone what they have seen. Pebbles asked us what brought us to her place that morning when she least expected us after we had rejected taking anything from her. "Anyway let me start,Simone and I came here this morning just to ask you why you,Pebbles was so much interested in disgracing my girlfriend, Lucy at the market square some days back. " Oh that,am very sorry for her that day.Please extend my deepest regret for that slut you call your girlfriend. Come to think of it,am very much disappointed in you Biggie...Pebbles exploded. Simone tapped my knee cap just to calm me down.He knew by now,I was already furious and would burst out so he had to intercede. "May I ask why you are saying so Pebbles,Simone cut in. "Yes I said so and I would say it again and again;of all the women in this neighborhood, you stoop too low to date a commoner among the lot. I thought you had taste for good things but reduced my respect for you after I heard you sleeping with that cheap slut. God,how could I call that one my best friend. But little did you know that you were creating such bitterness for yourself.You can't bear seeing someone you called your best friend dating your ex boyfriend. ***CHAPTER SIX*** "Just pray I don't bump into her,you will have to kill me on that.I promise you this;she will come logging a complain with bruises on her face. I will beat her wherever I see her and whenever she bumps into me.I Pebbles will deal with her very well that you will marvel at my handy works....She threatened. I asked Simone to allow me deal with Pebbles but he paid no heed to my plea.I struggled removing his hand he held tightly against my waist several times but he grabbed me whenever I wanted to advance on Pebbles. She also tried approaching me but her boyfriend present at the scene held her denying her to come nearer me. Her boyfriend Kelvin held her this time by the waist trying to withdraw her from causing a fight that Godforsaken morning. She poured all sort of insults on me which made me more furious that I got loose from my holder,Simone and threatened him not to hold me again which he obliged. I tried advancing on Pebbles who by then stood behind the counter with her boyfriend Kelvin who was trying to calm her down. Immediately Kelvinsaw me moving towards them,he tried approaching me with some apologies but I was so furious that I struck him to the ground with a blow. He pushed me from below sending me to a seat where some drunkards where enjoying their bottles of whisky. The push was so heavy that,i fell to the ground breaking the plastic table with the broken bottles of whisky on the floor.As i stood up,I felt pain in my palms.I looked and it was blood oozing from my palms which aggravated my tendency of furiousity. One of those drunkards tried stopping me with a knife he pulled from the counter but I was too fast to sense his intension of throwing the knife at me which gave me a chance to make my first move on him. I briskily got hold of a broken bottle of whisky from the floor with the soul intention of throwing it at my opponent when someone grasped me from behind. I struggled with the guy to get loose from him when I saw the drunkard approaching with a broken bottle in one hand and a knife in the other hand. I knew by now I had to get loose from the guy who held me tightly by holding my tummy with his two hands.He pleaded with me not to fight the man because he was too drunk to do anything dreadful. As I struggled to get loose from him,the drunkard threw the broken bottle from a distance but I was too fast to swerve the broken bottle by turning the guy who held me to receive the deadly broken bottle. The guy who held me screamed giving a loud voice which scared everyone in the room.He finally made me loose and fell on the ground with blood oozing from the back of his head. He fell with a heavy sound to the ground making everyone think that he had died.Little did I know that the guy who happened to got hold of me was Kelvin,Pebbles boy toy. I turned only to see Kelvin in a pool of blood.The drunkard tried running with the knife in his hand threatening the other customers to allow him pass through so he could bolt away. Abruptly, one guy from behind threw a plastic chair which sent the drunkard to the ground.He lost his knife from his finger.The knife fell under a table and he tried quickly to take it beneath the table but to no avail. Someone was quicker enough to take the knife from the table and warned him to stay put on the ground which he finally gave in.Two other customers got hold of him. Pebbles made a call hurriedly and sooner than later,an ambulance came screaming with horrified sound and an army of policemen followed suit to the scene ......To be continued*

****CHAPTER SEVEN **** Most of the guys who were present had already bolted away just by hearing the sound of the siren. The ambulance was the first vehicle to arrive at the sound. Kelvin was carried by some health officers in the ambulance and quickly rushed to the hospital. Then came the police came. The made a quick run to the pub occupying the scene with a lot of policemen. The officer in charge asked Pebbles some questions and suddenly the drunkard and i were convicted. They then asked Pebbles and Simone to sit in one of the police cars and we the convicts in another car.The drunkard struggled with the policemen who tried pushing him to their vehicle before we were sent to the police station. As for me, i remained calm as two of the policemen escorted me to the police car.I tried explaining to the police officer in charge but he ignored me saying, "you have the right to remain silent or anything you say will be used against you in the court of law. I knew i had no option left than to remain silent. I however beseeched with the officer in charge to allow me make a call to my lawyer but he refused. He assured me That he would only allow me make That call when we got to the police station. After about an hour's drive, we reached the Central police station in Kumasi. One of the policemen asked me to pray for the guy, Kelvin who got hurt that nothing bad happened to him. I had several discussions with him who explained things into details to me. He said that, should anything happen to Kelvin, his girlfriend, Pebbles would be forced to lodge a complain which could complicate things. So his only advice for us was to pray that He be came okay.He finally made a threatening speech that made my stomach to turn and rumble. The drunkard and i together with Pebbles were Then sent to a counter to write our statements in a notebook they offered us. We were cautioned to write a summary of what really happened at the pub that night before they tried asking us series of questions. After interrogating us, Pebbles was asked to leave her number with them for further interrogations before they asked her to go home. Like the policemen, she warned us that, should anything happen to her guy Kelvin, we would have to meet her in the court of law. Pebbles actually made That threat before leaving the police premises. Simone was also asked to go home and visit me the following morning. His face was drawn with pity for me. He prayed with me before leaving and promised to come see the officer in charge the next day for some talks. The officer asked us to call our lawyers and complain to them of what had really happened to us which we did. I called my lawyer's line several times but He did not pick up my calls. That guy must have died or something. I sent him text messages imploring him to call back as soon as he could. I didn't forget to add the fact That i had been arrested by the police and was at their custody at the Central police station . The other guy arrested with me was lucky his call went through. He explained briefly to his lawyer on phone who promised to come see him early the next morning at the police station. We were asked to remove our shirts and trousers together with our shoes and watches which they kept in two separate drawers. We were then asked by One police man to escort us to two separate cells where we spent the night..... To be Continued.

******CHAPTER EIGHT******* The next day came swifty than I expected. I was very overjoyed that it was dawn.The cool breeze woke me up because I slept with my bear chest. Only God knows how I suffered before sleeping that night.Unlike me,that guy of a drunkard slept like a hare that night. His name was Mike.I only got to know his name when we were asked to write our statements the previous night. As I got up shivering at about five that dawn,Mike was snoring like a day old baby whose mother had fed him with enough breast milk. We slept in opposite cells where we could see each other.I felt like throwing something at him but he was Lucky I had nothing beside me. He was such a disgraceful human being snoring like a toddler that dawn.His snores got irritating pushing me to shout his name several times before he finally stopped for a while. I began thinking of Kelvin and prayed several times to God to spare his life which could worsen Mike and l's problems.That could complicate the whole issue sending us straight to Hell. As I begun thinking of all that had happened,I learnt that sometimes one should be more patient to restrain from the devil's plans ahead which are unseen. As the saying goes,the future is unknown.So we sometimes have to ignore some character traits from others just to desist from trouble. As I was thinking, one of the policemen on duty came calling me that I had a visitor who was no other person like my lawyer,Mr.Anthony. I hired him when I was performing one of my dubious dirty games tricking people for their money. Mr. Anthony was the lawyer who helped me escape one thriving court case which involved millions of Ghanaian cedis. As the police warden opened the door,I begun to think about what to say and how to summarize everything to him. Mike begun snoring in his cell that moment when the warden walked to my cell to open the cell gate. The warden shouted on him sending thrills through his spine,making him to jump up high. The way he jumped up high into space in an almost abrupt manner made the warden turn suddenly to look at my face. The way he looked at my face with a smiling face made me burst into laughter and he joined in.Mike became very furious and he started to complain bitterly......To be Continued*

*****CHAPTER NINE***** The warden led me to see Mr.Anthony my lawyer who was seated in the interrogation room with his legs crossed. He stood up and greeted me politely before asking the warden to kindly remove the hand cups he placed on my hands. He nodded to reply lawyer Anthony before removing the hand cups carefully.He told us that we had only fifteen minutes to talk over whatever we wanted to discuss before he left us,closing the door behind him. "Biggie,I want to know how everything started up to where you were arrested...he asked. I took my time explaining every detailed information he wanted to hear as he listened carefully with a corked ear. He asked series of questions like why Pebbles threatened to beat Lucy up and why I should have reported that threat before taking the law into my own hands. I explained to him that,her insults that day infuriated me to the brim that I could no longer control my temper which resulted into such a fearful fight. He understood why Mike had got himself involved when I explained to him and said every man who was drunk could do same. He adviced me not to loosen my temper on women which could send me to prison because there were laws protecting them. " These laws are so tightened up that if you make a mistake and you hit a woman with your hand no matter how rude she behaves towards you,you will have yourself to blaim in the law court....he cautioned. Mr.Anthony also asked that I pray for Kelvin to recuperate well and respond to treatment faster than we should expect which could defray Pebbles mind from pressing charges on behalf of her boyfriend. He added that,Pebbles was up for my trouble so I should do anything possible to fight her off but not to do so by physically assaulting her or her boyfriend Kelvin which I tried doing earlier on. He also adviced that if possible I should not make any contact with her before the case would be over. He finally gave me the best news I wanted to hear that he had contacted the officer in charged and made he gave in to his plea for me to be bailed with conditions. The conditions were that,I would be required to report at the station every morning to sign and they would set spies to check on my movements in town. The officer received a call that Kelvin was well and was responding to treatment quickly.That gave him the prerogative to give me a bail.....Lawyer Anthony explained. Mike was to be bailed by his lawyer later in the day.I thanked him very much for his pieces of advice before I was released from the police custody. I thanked the officer on duty for my release and promised to report at his station to sign the undertaken every morning as he issued. I thanked him again before we finally parted ways.....Lawyer Anthony took me home in his car.I was very graceful for having such a wonderful lawyer. Before i got out from his car,he assured me that with God on our side and Kelvin responding to treatment as confirmed by the doctor who called from the hospital,i had no cause to worry.I thanked him again and he advised I call him should anything happen which I promised to do so....To be continued*

*****CHAPTER TEN**** ===THE THIEF ON WALL STREET=== Mike was released latter in the evening.He called me to tell me of his great news.He was more than happy to be finally out from that Hell. According to him,the officer in charge collected a sum of GH500 before issuing a command to his subordinates for his release. He spent more than an hour before he was released.This happened because his Lawyer had to go to the bank and withdraw money which took him quite a long time because the network had been jammed. Like me,he was to sign an undertaking every morning till when Kelvin will be discharged. "So our only hope is to pray that Kelvin be discharged from the hospital safe and sound....Mike confirmed. He apologized for his mistaking of taking on a fight with me which he would not have done should he not have been drunk. I said to him that he was not to be blaimed for what had happened and advised him to learn a lesson out of it which he obliged. He then asked of my friend Simone and i replied he was not around.Mike then asked me to extend his greetings to him before he promised to call him later and he hanged up. *It was drizzling at about five in the evening.The weather was a bit cold which forced me to go for a blanket in the bed room. On my return,I heard someone from outside screaming.The person was trying to draw the attention of people to come to his aid. I quickly threw the blanket somewhere and rushed to the living room to pick up my shirt.I rushed out only to see a crowd of people gathered in front of Bro Mike's door. " What is going on here,I asked one man pulling him by the hand.Bro Mike has caught a thief. red handed in his room,go see for yourself.You would be shocked who this thief might be....The man urged me,pushing me through the crowd. The crowd made way for me to pass.Bro Mike's door was open but the number of people who wanted to troupe in was massive that I had to beg them before they gave way for me to enter his room. When I entered the room,I saw a boy about twelve like the one they described sometime ago who testified that he had seen Lucy,my girlfriend coming out from Bro Mike's room. The boy was with some few Ghanaian Cedi Notes in his hand and he stood behind a drawal which was opened.In that drawal were some more Cedi notes. I asked Bro Mike who the boy was and he felt ashame to even spill out his name.Bro Mike burnt his head down saying,"this is the boy who accused Lucy of stealing the GH500.00. No sooner had he said that than one guy who stood behind the boy gave him two dirty slaps from behind. The other men in the room begged him to stop but he refused.He drew out his belt and started whipping him mercilessly. Seeing that the guy could cause trouble for us,we sent him out from the room and locked the door. "We have to call in the police...One man suggested. Meanwhile, the guy we sent out had already filled the air with the news outside.People begun to shout on us to bring the boy outside which we refused. ******CHAPTER. ELEVEN****** The mob prevented the police from moving the boy out of the room.They wanted to beat him to death.They however got the chance through the crowd to Bro Mike's room. When they tried moving the thief out to their vehicle,they were prevented by the mob several times on their attempt. On their last attempt,the mob tried wrestling with the police in other to get hold of the boy.They insisted the police leave the boy with them. The policemen however for fear that the angry mob might beat their suspect to death,denied them of the boy.That was why the mob also denied the policemen from sending the thief away. We stayed in the room with the policemen till they called for a backup team to help them convey the suspected thief to the police station. It took us thirty minutes before finally their arrival was announced by their siren. They moved the mob far away from the door setting up a wider perimeter just to protect us and allow the suspect to be conveyed. This plan worked marvelously at first but was marred by one guy who got angry on seeing the police bring out the thief. He tried to stop the police on his own which made one police man to give warning shots in the air just to scare him off.He was however not deterred by that threat. This made the policeman more furious that he lowered his gun aiming at the guy and warned him not to interfere with the matter of the police else he would shoot directly at him. The guy grew more confident and tried advancing on the policeman pulling out a knife feom his pocket. The police in an attempt to save himself gave three shots in the air to scare the guy off but to no avail. He then lowered his gun at his legs and fired at them.This made the other people furious and they tried advancing on the policemen with woods and cutlasses. The other policemen seeing this new development gave warning shots in the air which scared the mob.They told two of their gangs to send the thief in one vehicle to their station which they did with the other policemen clearing the way for the police vehicle to pass. This was however an easy task at all but the police managed to send the thief to their station. The remaining policemen tried calming the angry mob down.They called for an ambulance which conveyed the guy who had been paralysed to the hospital. They also drove the mob out from the compound before they finally parted ways to their station..... To be Continued*

*****CHAPTER TWELVE***** The thief on Wall gave a chance to the gossips to make up various headlines on different platforms.People made up their own stories just to attract a lot of audience. The newspapers could not be left out of this news.There were variulous headlines on different newspapers.Some funny,others annoying. The journalists made us popular by interviewing us on TV's and radio stations.At first it was fine by all and sundry but later,we were fed up with the journalists probing up on our door steps more than often. This made us to ignore them.They asked all kinds of intriguing questions and made baseless arguments whenever they invited us to their workplaces. *I informed Lucy of the new development and she was more than happy to hear the news.I asked her to forgive Bro Mike and his associates for such a frame up test which could end up so bad and she obliged. She said that God knew best.He knew it wasn't her that was why she sent my sister Evelyn to foot the bill."God has been so wonderful to us Biggie,we have to thank him for this....she acclaimed. In fact God was so good to Lucy and I.Sometimes when i thought of all the wrong doings i had done,cheating and robbing people of their money,yet i was still alive. He sent my long lost sister to pay up my bills when i got nobody to look up to.Not only did He allow her to pay for the lost money but also give me money to start up afresh,indeed His name be praised. Lucy advised that i leave that house before those devils planned something else.I told her to give me sometime to sought out some few things before finally i would hire an apartment so we could move in together and start a new life. Kelvin was discharged from the hospital three weeks after my arrest and i visited him pleading with him to forgive me.He was very happy to see me visit him and he forgave me just as i wanted. His discharge gave us no cost of alarm.The police officer in charge of our case called Mike and i to the police station and informed us that Kelvin had dropped charges so we were free from the case. He made us to sign some papers and told us that we were free to go,advising us to learn a lesson from what had happened to us. "Is only a fool who does not learn from his mistakes,please do not act silly when you are angry.And as for you Mike,you have to quit drinking. Just then,Lucy came out from the room asking why i had been arrested but all i could say to her was to ask her call my lawyer right away to the Central police station. The officer was left with no other choice than to explain to her why i had been arrested before she created a scene.Nevertheless, she held one of my legs preventing the other policeman from dragging me away. The policemen however had to pull her off several times before i boarded the police car they brought for my arrest.She wept bittery that day at Simone's house drawing the attention of my neighbours to the scene. People posed a lot of questions to her but she could only talk for some few minutes and the rest were all wailing.I hated to see her cry because she had already gone through a lot for dating me. Finally Pebbles burst in answering all the questions the other neighbours asked"Biggie had done it all hiring people to burn down my store for God knows what. What pained me the more was when i heard her say to Lucy,"If you thing you have a better boy friend my girl,than is a lie.I can't even imagine you sleeping with a criminal. Oh wait,i do now because you are yourself a criminal too.Birds of the same feather,flock together. You stole him from me your best friend.But thanks to you,I found myself a better man. That she said sparked up a fight between them.The other neighbours had to separate them before they ended up killing each other. "I can't just imagine how I allowed myself to be dated by such a wicked man.He is such a heartless fellow.One who could kill without a blink...Pebbles exploded after being separated from the fight. The policemen had to stop her from talking too much because they wanted to go back to the police station with her because it was her who logged the complain for my arrest. I could not bear than to look away as i saw Lucy rowling on the ground weeping as I looked through the car glass.I hated to see her like that because i knew how soft she was. She could weep all day without even putting something in her tummy.She did that when last her only Auntie died and i knew history they say can repeat itself. This time she would cry and fast for Biggie his boyfriend who has been arrested a day after Valentine Day which was suppose to be another precious moment in her life.....To be continued*

#CHAPTER FOURTEEN# I was very sad within seeing the woman i love wailing like a baby on the floor as the police car zoomed off.I had tears ready to drain down on my cheeks with just a blink of an eye. When my mind brought memories of true look she had shown me,my eyes could no longer hold the tears back.I bowed down my head with so much guilt within me. This woman loved me for just who i was unlike those money spenders i had earlier dated.She stood out tall among them all. The last one was a jerk.She came into my life as an Angel but she was a devil incarnate when i accessed her.Pebbles was the devil of a woman i ever dated. After her i knew that some women you choose for yourself would come into your life as pretenders but if you allow the good Lord to choose for you,there you will get what your heart desires. I had been doing the choosing ranging from dark to fair,short to tall,fat asses to slim things in search of a true lover but to no avail. But when i was fed up,i tried asking God Himself to do the choosing this time and luckily he revealed to me in my dreams,Lucy the lover i was expecting in my life. She had all the qualities i deserved and yearned for.A woman of substance.Someone who loved me even when i was broke and had no job to cater for her needs,she encouraged me and had faith that one day we would smile because it was going to be well. Yet all i did was to cause her more pain.Indeed sometimes i told her that i did not deserve someone like her. *Actually i was the one who sent Adamu and his friend Mubarak to burn down Pebbles's store into ashes living no quarter. I did that after Pebbles had threatened me on phone to destroy my life after which she fought with Lucy my fiancee at the market square.... They did the job perfectly which had resulted in my arrest.My only fear was that they would not be caught but would disappear for more than five years as arranged. "I discussed with them on phone of the intentions i laid before them and they were willing to do the job for a huge amount i promised them. They collected half the amount to buy petrol and some two gallons for the job. After the job,they called me on phone for the other half of the money to be transferred into Adamu's bank account so they would share and disappear for good. I did what they asked but first i had to make sure they had done the job perfectly well so i called Simone from my mother's end to confirm after which i sent the other half of the money which was 2000Gh Cedis. I travelled to my mum's telling everyone i knew in the neigbourhood of my departure. I was just trying to erase every suspicion that would come after so i left Simon's house to my mum's three days before the incident and came a week after telling everyone that i was going to visit my sick mum. I asked how they executed the plan and they narrated everything to me on phone. " Adamu and I,Mubarak did exactly what you told us Biggie,and it worked perfectly.We bought two gallons of petrol and poured them into two yellow gallons. Actually we woke up at dawn,around three walking down to Pebbles' store.First we switched off the street light which had a switch just below the bar just as you described. So there was no way someone could spot us.We walked back giving a distance about half a mile and then we started pouringa gallon of petrol dripping down to the store. We also broke a window glass and threw the other gallon in the store opening the mouth and we headed back to where the drips started. But before that,Mubarak watched for any eye witness and saw nobody as i broke loose of the window throwing the other gallon of petrol in the store.... As we stood behind the drip,our only prayer was that we shouldn't be caught by anyone who would scream for people sleeping to come case us. We searched the perimeter around the store before moving briskily to light up the drips of petrol which moved with a massive speed bombing the store.... First a dog backed as we stood to watch the store burn.After some few minutes,we heard someone screaming for help.Then we knew that our work was completed, so we jetted off to the house and moved out only to disappear as planned... I thanked them and promised to send the money later in the day which i did.The next day,Simone called me telling me of the tragedy which had befallen Pebbles. Little did he know that i was the one who master minded it all.I kept quiet as he described how the store had been burnt into ashes that not even a sacket of brandy was discovered. I showed no sign of happiness on the phone for him to suspect me of anything but only God knew how happy i was within......To be Continued*

*******CHAPTER FIFTEEN****** I felt so vulnerable for all that had happened and prayed several times that the two guys should not be caught. No sooner had we reached the police station than the inspector bumbed into me.I wanted to disappear into thin air that minute. The thought of me promising him never to be seen in hand cuffs again at his station came to me like the incident just happened a couple of minutes ago. I hid my face by lowering my face.Little did i know that he saw me from a distance when i was alighting from the police car. "Biggie,i thought i adviced you not to do anything that could send you back here....The inspector asked. I was about answering him when one policeman saved me by interrupting.He explained to the inspector why i had been convicted.Also he said that i had been arrested just for interrogation but for the scene i created,that was why i was handcuffed because they feared i would escape. The inspector called one of the policemen aside for an insight of the story i guess,after which i was sent to the interrogation room for further questioning. There were two men who came to the room to interrogate me.The way they looked me in the eye made my heart to tremble but i knew i had to do anything for them to suspect me. " Biggie,where were you when you when the incident happened...One of them asked. "I got a message that my mother had been taken ill and was sent to the hospital so i was told by the caller to rush home immediately which i did. So can you tell us when exactly you went to visit your mum,the other guy asked a follow up question. " I went about a week ago before my friend Simone called me on phone telling me what had happened. The interrogation went on and on and on but i was very excited after they had finished because they never mentioned the two guys i sent in our investigation. They asked me to wait in the room which i did because i had no option than to sit down and wait.They went out for about twenty minutes after which one policeman came in to inform me that i was free to go but he warned that should anything come up,they would not hesitate to call me.... *****CHAPTER SIXTEEN**** The Policeman unlocked the hand cuffs on my hand and escorted me out of the room and the station. I went home very weary that hot afternoon. Lucky tried asking me series of questions but i pleaded with her to let me rest for a while which she obliged. She woke me up at half past four in the evening when i was sleeping on the couch asking me to join her on the dinning table at my mum's place. She went into the kitchen to bring the dinner she had prepared. I heard something prompting me to call my mum and plead with her to follow my plan because they would interrogate her too. With that, i got up from the table and called my mum giving her an update of what was happening. She was overwhelmed over what i had done but promised to abide by my rules. That alone gave me courage and thanked her before hanging up. I was shocked to see my girlfriend standing behind me when i turned. No one needed to tell me that she had heard every bit of my conversation on the phone. She took my hand, walked me to the table and sat me down, all she could do was to cry. I tried holding her hand but she warned me not to. "So you did all that, how could you Biggie. I never thought of you going this far just for revenge. You are so selfless, you never for once thought of me let alone put your trust in me.... She poured out. I got closer to her and hugged her, I thought of this before coming out with such a plan dear. Of course i think of you. I know i was stupid master minding such a dreadful plan, but trust me i did it for you my love. I couldn't bear the shame and disgrace she planned and was about to plan against you. She threatened to fight and disgrace you where ever she met you. Pebbles needed to be stopped and someone needed to take the bull by the horn. So i stepped up for us. No one bites my finger and goes Scott free.... Biggie lamented. " But you needed the police to know that threat she issued against me, besides you never told me so how could i have known of her intentions to disgrace me. I had to convince her some more to understand me. Also i realised she was scared of loosing me so i gave her hope that she wont loose me because the guys i sent had promised never to step foot in the vicinity. They made it clear to me that, they did a clean job and i trusted them because they executed exactly what told them. I got to know that after they had narrated everything to me and from how Simone described the incident. They said they wouldn't step foot here not until five years, that was the deal and i paid them with a huge amount. They wouldn't even dare because they know what might happend to them should they be convicted. With this she calmed down...... To be Continued*

**** EPILOGUE**** The next day my mother called telling me that the police came to interrogate her in the house.My heart bounced and I asked her what questions they asked her. Mother was too brilliant that I wondered if I took my bad behaviour from her. I was so much relieved when I realised she did not say anything that could make them suspect me. My only hope now was on the two guys who executed the plan.I prayed nobody saw them that faithful day they did the job. *Months passed but I never heard from those two guys I sent.I had relocated to another apartment far from Simone's vicinity. Lucy had a job now and I was also a businessman.I had a shop in Kejetia market and business was booming. I dealt in all manners of wears ranging from snickers to lady's bags.I had a lot of customers who came buying on wholesale. *Tuesday morning,Simone called me on phone informing me that Pebbles' guy Kelvin had left her. He complained that she had intentionally set fire in her shop after he gave her GH 1000 Cedis so she could spend the money for free. Pebbles then gave the money to a guy to weld a container store for her in hope that Kelvin will give her another money after he had promised to do so. The guy did not do any container,but spent the money and vanished from town. But after the incident,Kelvin broke up with her on hearing the news that her pub got burnt.I told Simone that I would visit him the following day. I woke up the next morning in high spirits ready to visit Simone.I took a taxi to his house after I had told Lucy of where I was going. When I reached my destination,some friends I saw on the way got closer to me and tried to tell me what had happened to Pebbles. I never knew there were guys who were like some ladies who had made gossiping their hobby. I stopped them by explaining to them that I had heard the news already.Someone had already let the cat out from the bag. They were surprised and asked who could reveal a top secret in such a short time. "Anyway,thus not why I came here.I came here so that you guys could help me celebrate my triumph over the woman who thought she was leaving me for a better man...I said. Can you guys please guy some more friends in the neighbourhood to celebrate with us..I queried. They were more than eager to do what I asked and sooner than later the atmosphere was filled with guys who were ready to get boozed. I sent them to Simone's compound and asked him to join us.He never for once hesitated.Simone ordered the guys to bring some plastic chairs from a nearby pub. I also gave out some money to him to spend on drinks which he did by sending some of the guys to buy from the pub. Simone brought a sound system from his apartment and made himself the DJ for the occasion. We also bought some sausages and cooked some rice.We sat down and drunk to our maximum satisfaction,amidst eating and dancing. Pebbles came out from her apartment and stood to watch us jubilate.Tears started pouring down her miserable face....THE END*

The culprit had also suceeded in telling him that i was a Cheat because he had believed her so much. [3/22, 8:38 PM] Evanz: ***CHAPTER SIX*** The banking hall was too huge.It had five tellers with cashiers ready to serve everyone. One teller seeing to the needs of customers who want to change foreign currencies into ghana cedis. The second teller was in charge of receiving bank drafts and people who wanted to put money into their accounts. The other three tellers were also in charge of cashing out money to customers. Even though the bank had five tellers, it was always choked with people from all walks of life. *As i stirred at the clock on the wall, i begun to think about so many things. I was pulled by someone. I gained consciousness and when i was pulled. It was the lady i was waiting for. She was very much delated to still see me at the banking hall. She asked me to follow her outside which i obeyed. She was with a polythene bag and on the front page was scribbled UT Bank Ltd. No one had to tell me that she carried the three thousand ghana cedis in the bag. "Hey you, so you are still here. I thought you had bolted away with my bag. How good of you to be still standing here. So she actually tested me with her bag and the content in it. I would have been so foolish to be trapped in her web should i have bolted. "Lets go to a restaurant, hope you are hungry, she asked. I really wanted to know her more so i gladly nodded in agreement. # CHAPTER SEVEN # She was very serious with those words. I could see that on her face and the scene she just created was just prefect for captivating any man into her love web. He came to my office on his knees the next day to beg for my forgiveness and promised it wouldn't happen again which i did because i loved him just that he was being over protective. He sat down and we talked about the issue at length I asked him to apologise to my friend Enoch and his girlfriend Aisha giving him his number which he did. He also promised to take me to dinner after work which i ernomously agreed. Something unusual happened at the dinning section at Akoma plaza. [3/30, 9:22 PM] Evanz: ***CHAPTER EIGHT *** She was very much infuriated that she poured out her anger on me. Her got hold of my shirt ready to tear it apart in an attempt to disgrace me. But for the divine intervention of Enoch who boldly held her hand, preventing her from pouncing on me and tearing up my shirt,she was forced to leave my shirt. She then took a bowl of water from another table and poured it on me. That came faster that, neither Enoch nor myself could block. I took a shower and changed into the clothes he bought for me before joining him in the living room. I asked him to take me home as he and his ex had already spoilt my day by disgracing me at the restaurant, but he pleaded that i heard him out first before i thought ill of him. I knew he would have an explanation for all what had happened that evening but i was so much annoyed that i didn’t want to hear anything from him. So i made up my mind to walk out from his room, step outside and get a taxi back home. But he held my hand and pleaded with me to sit down for sometime to listen to his side of the Story. I had no option than to sit down and listen to him. "Her name is Amanda, she was my girl for five good years before she won a lottery to study abroad. The security man did not give me an actual day of his return so i wasn't sure of when he would return which compelled me to leave my number with the security man that in case he returned, he should do well and call me. I did all these just to tell Enoch that i was leaving out of the country to study abroad but to no avail. When i went to America, i tried several times calling his line but it wasn't going through. His friend Robert gave me his new line. Robert explained to me that Enoch lost his cell phone but had a new one so he gave it out to me. When i called, he complained bitterly why i never told him of my travel and told me not to call him again before hanging up on me. He didn’t give me a chance to explain anything which hurt me so much because it was obvious i was in love with him... I tried calling back but to no avail. I also sent him several messages just to plead guilty and beseech him to forgive me but they all proved worthless. I pleaded with Robert to talk to his friend by asking him to forgive me but he never forgave me.

I picked it up and realised it was Enoch calling. He told me that he had forgiven me. I was so excited about what he said on the phone. He asked if i was dating someone because he wanted me back. I paused a bit to reflect on all that we shared for the five years we had been dating before i sighed and said no. Words cannot describe how happy he was to hear that. He asked why a pretty damsel like myself was not in a date and i replied that actually i was in a date with one guy back in America who became a drunkard because of his mum's death. Jude was such a nice guy but for his mother's death, he changed completely. I tried advising to change from his drinking ways but he paid no heed to my advise so i had to let him go because i was not ready to date a drunkard. I did my very best to change Jude but he wasn't ready to change. It looked as if he wanted to follow his mum to the grave or something. Because from the way he was drinking, i wouldn't be surprised to hear that he had joined his mum to the grave. Enoch was so happy that he told me to come down so we could settle as husband and wife. I was also very pleased to hear him say that and i gave him my full consent to start the preparation. He sent money for me to buy wedding rings and my dress i would wear to the occasion too. He also asked me to buy a white suit for him which i never hesitated doing. He also asked me to borrow him some money for the drinks and food he would order which i did because i saw seriousness and sense in what he was doing. He promised to pay back the money i borrowed him immediately i arrived here in Ghana which he has not but because i didn’t want to bother him, i never asked him. After arranging for all the things he needed to do before our wedding, he asked me to get a visa back to Ghana for the wedding and i even promised him that if he married me, i would take him to the states with me. I arrived just two weeks ago for the marriage ceremony to commence and he had already seen my parents and asked for my hand in marriage. They also received him warmly and gave him the go ahead to proceed with the marriage preparation. Enoch has done the customary rites by paying for my bride price and has bought all the necessary list items for the grand wedding to proceed. He then asked why i chose France but not a country like Italy or Spain and i said i'd always wanted to learn the french language. How much did you borrow him, i asked. He asked for $150,000 but i gave him $200,0000 because he complained of sending invites to all the people he knew. That was how stupid i was to have believed in him. As i stretched out my left hand to take the phone, the sunlight walked up front to my face flashing on my left eye like a policeman who was looking for a robber in the dark with a flashlight in hand. I used my left hand to draw the iphone beside me because it laid a little bit distant from me. What do you want... Please talk faster so i can catch up some sleep. "Okay dear will go straight to why i called. You know its only a week left and I've still not seen the wedding items not to talk of my own suit i will be wearing... "Alright dear, will show them to you. You can come and take a look anytime but will not give them to you to keep as its a huge omen explained by my auntie. Will give them to you a day before the wedding. [4/18, 10:50 PM] Evanz: ******CHAPTER THIRTEEN ******** A week passed and i did not hear from Enoch. He neither visited nor called to disturb me of anything. I was even surprised for his recent behaviour. I even thought that he might have travelled abroad so i hired someone to monitor him and find out for me if what i was thinking was indeed true. The person i hired happened to be a private investigator who worked with the police department i logged a complain for an immediate arrest of Enoch, but to my dismay someone among them rather discouraged me than five for his immediate arrest. It was one policeman by name Sargent Asare who advised me to hire a private investigator to monitor him than to pressure the police for Enoch's immediate arrest. Surely i became very provoked for what he said and asked why he said that hurting words in the first place. I didn’t initially understand why Sargent Asare said that because i was very much heart broken and emotionally disintegrated. Why could a whole policeman man, and an inspector of his calibre say such a thing. My husband to be was trying to dupe me for a such a ransom amount of money and he stood behind the counter to just alter such heart breaking comments just to hurt me the more. But for his explanations, i realised that i was taking the case to a certain height that if care was not taken i might loose everything. Inspector Asare said he knew Enoch very well in the University. They attended the same University in some couple of years back. Enoch happened to be his next door neighbour who used to tell him stories of his adventurous game with women, so he knew him more than i even came into his life. He also said that Enoch was in town and he knew where he was staying. So it would be better for us to hire someone to monitor him than to call for his immediate arrest. The inspector also advised me not to take the matter at heart. He said to me that i must not be too emotional about what had happened and said that, that was what the police were meant for. So it was he who recommended a private investigator for me but i warned him that should Enoch bolt away with my money, i would certainly blame him and log a complain against him for conspiring with Enoch to get away with my money which he agreed. A day before the wedding, i got a call from the private investigator by name Mr Fred informing me that Enoch just booked a hotel room with a lady. I was taken a back by such a sudden call. I never for once recalled hearing such strange and heart broken call anywhere in my life. Immediately i became sterned and my body begun to quiver. It was as if someone had poured water full of ice cubes on me. The news of Enoch booking a date with another woman on the eve of his wedding was uncalled for me and i was so mesmerised very much that my heart begun to skip some beats faster than it should. What intensified me the more was that the caller hanged up after leaving me in such suspense. I had to make a move by finding out if what Investigator Fred informed me on the phone was true. Surely he gave the location of the hotel where the incident would take place. But i was very shocked because Enoch never cheated on me for all the five years i dated him or maybe he was doing it behind my back. Some men could be so wicked. I trusted him so much that whenever someone complained about him i ignored the person. That was how love could block ears from listening and render its victims blind. But i needed to go with Amanda so she would also know the kind of man he was dating. [4/20, 3:30 AM] Evanz: #CHEATERS# *CHAPTER FOURTEEN* I didn’t know why Amanda's line was not going through but that did not discourage me in anyway. I took my keys on the dinning table and my phone which i placed on the couch before creaking the door to close and lock it. I took a taxi straight to La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, the exact hotel i was informed Enoch would be booking a room for two that very night. It was around 7pm when i left the house for sure of an adventure. I couldn't think straight and still couldn't believe why all these were happening to me. The boyfriend i had, Jude would not even dare dating another woman even though i never trusted him so much but for cheating, he would have preferred drinking over his mother's death to cheating. I promised myself never to go into a date anymore because i was already fed up with such a mega heart break and thought of men to be all the same . Trust no man, even the Bible declared that so how could i be so stupid to have believed him that much. And even after all that i had done for him what did he do to me, he had broken my heart and was even planning to do some more by planning to execute such a deceitful act. How could he do such a thing to a woman who he planned to marry. Only God knows what he would have done to me should i have married him. Sometimes in life we believe certain people that we could even fight for them whenever they went into trouble even though we did not know who that person really was. Some people can be like chameleons, changing their skin colours just to suit the environment they are in but what do they do when no one is watching. They change back into their true colours singing praises that they had fooled their victims. Man can never be predicted correctly because the human minds are very different. What goes on in one mind is different from what happens in the other, even one should not expect twins to have the same mind let alone trust different children from a lone mother to wise up the same way as their father was during his youthful age. As the driver sped off to the named Hotel, many things spined round in my mind. Could i ever get a true love. Someone who would love me just the way i was without thinking about my per degree in life. Could i ever find such a man who was so perfect even though such men does not exist in this world of ours as once proclaimed by my pal, Eunice. "There is no perfect guy in this world and beyond trust me. But you can make him change to suit your expectations. He would adhere to you trying to help him solve his short comings if truly he loves you as he claims. But surely how can you change someone who behaves like an Angel before you but behaves differently when you are not around to help correct his corrupt mind be changed. Men who do not want to be changed by those who tell them of their defaults but would prefer remaining stagnant where they are, are not really ready for civilisation to take place in their lives. Such men are not marriage materials and should be avoided by pretty women like you who are seeking for true love... Eunice enlightened. *****CHAPTER FIFTEEN***** I just realised that something strange was about to happen in my life that moment and i asked myself if i would be able to withstand it. And how long i could take it. In life when one's whole world begins to shamble, such a fellow feels dejected in this lonely world. The devil mostly capitalises on such fear as the victims short coming and discourages him in such a way that if care is not taken, the affected person might do something nasty. Such a person might even commit suicide or do something dramatic. So many a times, such people must have someone to talk to so they do not find themselves to be dejected. I would have drunk poison but for the driver. He saw that i was emotionally heart broken and quickly off the music. He then tried to create a normal conversation with me just to make me stable because i was taken off the hook by the intimidations of the song's lyrics. "I still couldn't believe in my thought how i believed Enoch so much. Love is indeed blind and would forever be. How could a whole me be entangled in such a web of impure Love.... I said to the taxi driver whiles he listened with corked ears. I took my time explaining every bit of my Story to him whiles he drove amidst watching me in his driving mirror. * I realised i was going nuts. Love indeed could make someone reveal secrets when such a person's heart was broken for the first time or if the person in question believed that his partner to the brim but if the lover just finds out that his partner had rated the him from Hero to Zero,he feels awfully rejected. Believe me or not, such victims could kill for Love because for them... it is easier to Die for something than to Live for nothing... Words from Eunice echoed in my hears like she just whispered them. The driver had a good sense of humour. He knew how to treat passengers in my case with some level of dignified experience and respect. As he drove, i stirred through the transparent goals, think in about what to do to the Bitch and the Humaniser. A voice told me to ask the driver to turn around to a shop where i could find a gun to murder them both together with myself. I decided to pull the trigger and kill myself too after sending them to their grave because i had nothing to live for as confirmed by Eunice... I asked the driver to turn around to a joint where a gun was being sold. No sooner had i said that than he halted the Taxi. He quickly got out and opened the door for me to get out too. "Why did you stop Ismael... I inquired from the driver fuming. "Madam please get out, seriously we need to talk...The Driver replied. ''What is it Ishmael, why have you stopped, hope you are not coming to complain of another break down of your vehicle because you have done that twice so this time am not going to take any excuse from you. Help me get another Taxi because I've got no time to waste at all. I will pay for the fare don't worry, is fine by me......I said hastily. "Please stop this drama because i didn’t stop the vehicle for that... The driver lamented*

Men will always cheat on their women, it is like a Curse unto us or something. You would be surprised if i tell you how many times I've cheated on my wife since i became a Taxi driver. I've been caught several times by my wife and i admitted cheating on her and pleaded for her forgiveness. I thank God that she is still living with me and I've stopped cheating on her. Please calm your nerves down. You can't go killing them with a gun at the hotel and go scout free unless maybe you have in mind to die with them. You would also incriminate me into this case if they are found dead this very Doomsday or the next morning after you have regretted yelling at me to sped off the vehicle after your murderous act. Who knows, someone might keep my car's number in mind and report to the police. What do you think they will think about me. You would have already framed me up as your accomplice which i know nothing about. Please woman, am not ready to rot in jail because i have five kids and a wife to take care of. You think you are the only one who has been heart broken by a partner, huh. Let me tell you this, i dated a lady for four good years and when i married her, she cheated on me with my best friend on my own matrimonial bed. What would you have done if you were in my shoes, blown their heads off with a gun i guess. But for my kid i remained calm because i thought of Kelvin first before the two bustards, my Ex wife Juana and my only best friend Mike. I just turned my back on them and walked away from the room. I drove straight to a friend's place and stayed there for the night. When i returned to the house the Next day, i never assaulted her physically or did anything dramatic. I just greeted Portia and went straight to the kitchen to make myself a coffee. After which i drove Kelvin off to school before i went to work. I always stayed up late in the nice pubs and slept on the couch. I neither ate her food nor talk to her about anything for a month. I acted normal like her husband she always knew just that i never ate her food, talked with her, washed my own clothes together with Kelvin's, my first son. You know sometimes, people choose to drink not because they want to but because of what they are going through in life. I never knew how to drink alcohol, but for my situation i learned how to drink because it made me forget my pain. My pastor saw this sudden change of attitude in me after the month of April and called me for counselling. I told him every bit of what Portia had done with my best friend Mike. He tried to solve the issue but it never worked with me,so we broke up and i married Juana my current wife. I started cheating on her because i had lost my trust in women. I thought maybe one day i would come home from work and see the same thing Portia did with my best friend or a similar thing. But when i was rather caught cheating in a hotel room with another woman on three consecutive times, i realised i was doing more harm to my marriage than good so i stopped cheating on her for fear that she might leave me for good. So because i didn’t want to loose Juana i had to fix my problem of adultery and with God by my side I've been able to fix it. So you see why you can't go killing your husband to be and her girl friend. Just let it go because you may never know what God himself have in store for you. I'd rather you don't go to the hotel room in the first place if you can't control your temper in front of them. I tell you what, after every conquerous victory over the Evil one, there is a greater reward descending from Heaven above. When i left Portia, i never for once thought i could get another wife. Most women would not like to take care of another woman's baby and it was true because all the women i dated before Juana were not willing to take care of Kelvin so i left them. But when i finally met the flesh of my flesh, Behold all things where made possible. She accepted Kelvin and i and i now have three kids with her in addition to Kelvin. So you see, all things can be possible if you just Believe..... Ishmael crowned his talk with such an amazing message which kept echoing in my ears. I wiped out my tears after hearing such motivational message from Ishmael, the Taxi driver....

I really felt blessed that night and such night happened to be one of the most memorable nights in my life. Ishmael was such a great motivational speaker and i told him that it wasn't his place to be a Taxi driver but rather a local leader because he had such an outstanding quality. He was so flattered that i saw him smile through the driving mirror. Ishmael also said to me that he was some kind of a youth leader in his church and anytime he was put on a programme to deliver motivational words to his youth ministry, not only the members from his church came to grace the occasion but also other youth leaders and youth ministries showed up in their numbers just to hear his voice. He also said that the first time he was asked to stand in for his then youth leader because he could not attend the seminar made to inspire the youth in their church he won the hearts of the youth present that day with a standing in ovation after he had finished his speech on, "HOW TO LIVE A BETTER LIFE FOR CHRIST. He shared the words with me as we journeyed for my adventure and what i learnt that night was absolutely incredible. He taught me how to show my talents to the world to glorify Jesus Christ our Saviour. He also taught me that living for Christ will not encourage someone think Evil of his neighbour and finally he taught me how to save and invest my money to live a better life tomorrow. He was the one who inspired me to continue my education to be the person i am today. Ishmael said that it was never late to be in school for someone who is determined to achieve knowledge through education. He encouraged me to go to the University in order to woo off men like Enoch in my life. He said men who were not up to my standard in life would fear me for being a woman of substance. And you know what,all what he said about me educating myself up higher in life was true because even from the day i became a graduate by achieving a first class, men in my neighbourhood like these local mechanics and auto electricians would have loved to call me but they couldn't because they saw me drive in very expensive cars. Some who were bold enough to approach me only asked if i were married. But even if i gave gave them a push by saying no, they would jokingly discourage themselves by saying "I would have loved to be your husband but for your expensive ride which could buy my huge mechanic shop and whoops i forgot to talk about your Brazilian hair which could put money on my centre table to feed my whole family for a year or two not to talk about your expensive clothes and perfumes, i simply can't because i wouldn't have the means to take care of you. I realised they were right because whenever a man of their per degree wanted to approach me, he was either discouraged by my personality or my Car and stuffs like that. Eventhough what he said had some disadvantages because even men who had the same per degree with me cheated on me for my money and i was so stupid to give myself to them,it really helped me a lot. And then my mind told me to come down to the man i Loved level so he would not feel intimidated by either my per degree or my expensive stuffs. *We got to the La Palm Royal Hotel at half past eight. I asked Ishmael to wait for me in the Taxi and he noded to agree but held my hand and told me to remember all what he said to me and to act calmly to any unusual scene before me in the room. I thanked him for even reminding me of how to react to such scene. He asked me to call the police to escout me to the room which i did. I called the police right before him and informed Ishmael that the Sargent would be sending two of his men to go into the room with me. In no time the police were seen at the hotel's premises and i went in with them. At the receptionist i borrowed a spare key to room 109 where the two cheats would be. After the keys were given to me, the two policemen and i rushed to to the room. We had to use the elevator to travel to the third floor where we could look for the above room number. When we reached the door gate we heard a woman's scream from the room. No one had to be told that she was really enjoying the sex and i made the sign of the cross to confirm that indeed they were cheating *

[4/28, 9:56 AM] Evanz: ******CHAPTER EIGHTEEN******* I made my mind up to open the door but one of the policemen held my hand and snatched the key from my hand. He asked me to allow them go inside first because they were well armed and i was with nothing. Ishmael had stopped me from buying the gun to arm myself. Instead of him helping me to get a gun, he rather convinced me from getting myself into trouble and making him an accomplice of a crime he knew nothing of. That was why he tried all his possible best to defray my mind from incriminating him. I allowed the policeman who snatched the duplicate key to have access to it. He reluctantly opened the door slowly. The other policeman held his his gun to his chest ready to shoot anyone who came his way. I followed him hiding behind his back because i was unarmed. The scene i saw that night was a prefect match i wanted. It looked as if the man on top screwing his woman was looking for some sort of mineral from his woman. She too was absolutely in paradise screaming with joy and ecstasy. It looked as if she was faking her screams just for the man on top of him to really enjoy her juicy part and cum early. The two policemen were shocked to see someone heavily screwing a woman with such strength, vibrantly moving his waste to and fro like a man who had chased a lady for far too long and had finally gotten her on his master bed. That very day becomes like a final world cup for him and he must win the trophy at all cost. For me it looked as if the man had drunk something which motivated him to screw her for long. "Please Sir, this is not a set up by any means. Actually, we had a false information by a private investigator to arrest a criminal in this very room. We are very sorry for causing any inconveniences to you and your woman. "What is all this, do you people know that my husband and i can sue you for invading our privacy... The woman asked angrily. "Yes mum, you are absolutely right to do so but please we beseech you not to proceed with such intention. "As she just said, it was one private investigator who gave us a false information so it wasn't intentional on our part to ruin your night, please forgive us. One of the policemen added. "Get the Hell out of this room before i loose my temper on you three for ruining my precious honey moon with my beautiful wife. Can you imagine,only God knows for how long they have been standing here to watch me display my manhood skills...... The man complained to his lady as we bounced from the room with shame. The man was a fully grown up fellow. He had grey hair and his mustache also carried some amount of grey hair too. So he could be figured to be in his late 50's. The woman could also be figured to be in her early 30's for she looked so enchanting. I wondered how a pretty damsel like her was married to an old figure like him. Some ladies can be so something, could it be that she was a gold digger or she really loved the man. Anyway, it wasn't part of my business for the night so i had to discard such thought from my mind. *The policemen and i were very much annoyed with the private investigator for giving us a false information that led to the ruining of some couple's honey moon. So instead of using the elevator, we rather used the stair case. Something miraculously happened the very moment we were about to descend the stairs to the receptionist. I was leading the two policemen this time while we descended the stairs. Immediately i tried to descend the stairs to the main entrance, i saw Enoch together with Amanda behind the counter of the receptionist so i pushed the two policemen behind for another adventure. "What is it woman, why have you brought us here. We were to descend the stairs and abort this useless mission, weren't we....One of the policemen complained. "Relax men, for I've just seen the culprit with another woman at the receptionist downstairs. It looks as if he was booking a room for two. Nice build up mum, i just can't wait to lay my hands on that fool... the other policeman supported*
