Episode 1 Lanre: O boy e get something wey I wan tell you ooo. Yesterday, I drove along that tinko avenue, I came across one girl. See ehn, if I tell u girl, this one na confirm.... Timi: As u dey serious like this I knw say na woman matter u wan talk. continue I dey hear you. Lanre: you no serious o. you're always doing as if you knw me very well. Timi: what else do you want me to know again, we've been friends for over 6 years, I know what you can do. So go on gimme the full gist. Lanre: Na u sabi o. Well as I was saying, this girl make sense, her lips are plumpy, nice curves, omo her yansh make sense and her front side sef no b here ooo?. I came down from the car to get something from a store, that's when I ran into her in the process, all what she was holding fell from her hand cos I was not paying attention to where I was going. But u no bliv say upon said I bump into this girl, she no vex. or should I say she no para for me. she was even telling me sorry, I guess she was nt paying attention too. Timi: hmm interesting, so you collected her number right? Lanre: Before nko I did ooo her Name is Damilola. I don add her to my list like that one time. Timi: hmm na so you dey talk. after some weeks now, u go forget her. If I ask u, u go say no b ur type or you lost interest. it's always from one excuse to the other. Na u sabi. Yeah! don't get lost. Lanre is a graduate from the University of Lagos, he has Bsc in Sociology. Luckily for him, he got a well paying job few months after youth service. He has been into numerous relationships or lemme say pre-relationships that were neva successful it all ended in the process, for some, there were neva a process. His best friend Timi, they met at point of JAMB registration and they got admission together into the same school only that they studied different courses, Timi studied Philosophy. So their friendship is tight, Timi has a girlfriend Brenda, but in Lanre's case, it is different. Undoubtedly, he is good looking and he has money too. He himself does not knw what's wrong with him. Now that he found Damilola, will his story change? Well he himself don't know the answer to that ??. His Friend and other friends or even people that heard his story calls him "Fear fear lover". He is also disturbed, but he's gradually accepting it as his nature possibly till he finds the right one he has been looking for all the while. Stay tuned... Episode 2 On a regular basis, Lanre usually don't ever go straight to the point, when it comes to the girls. But it seems there's something special about this girl called Damilola. Instead of calling her, he would usually monitor her movement to see if she has any guy she's seeing or at least something close to that ?. This persisted till he discovered that actually, either her man isn't around or she does not have one ??‍♂. So one day, he decided to approach her at her regular chilling spot. He hasn't called her ever since they first met. Lanre: (clear his throat) Hey! What's up? Damilola: woah how're you doing, ehm..ehm Lanre.. yh Lanre that's your name right? Lanre: yh, u ain't mistaken. Damilola: What a long time it is. What re you doing around here? Lanre: uh it's been a real long time. It's been over 2 weeks now if I calculated well. Well, I come here once in a while just to chill and catch some fun. (and that's a big lie) Damilola: What a coincidence, I come here also, but not once in a while, this is where I spend most of my evenings. Lanre: hmm nice. The thing is the other day I got ur number, I lost it, that's why I couldn't call all these while. That shouldn't be a problem now. Damilola: Yh obviously. So how have you been since the other time? Lanre: I've been fine ooo and praying for a day like this to come. A day I'll see you and be able to relate to you what I've been feeling for you. Damilola: Feeling for me?? Re u kidding, we've only met once and we didn't even have any deep conversation that will result to you having feelings for me??‍♀. Lanre: well that's how you take it. But to me it is a lot of conversation the other day ?. Damilola: okay then if you say so. Lanre: Damilola! ever since the day I set my eyes on you, I've lost balance of myself. Like there's a kind of special feeling I get when I think about you. This is not the normal me. It might sound akward if I ask you to be my girlfriend, maybe cos we barely know each other, but that's how I feel right now and ever since the time I met you. Damilola: (giggles) what you're talking about now, do you mean it? I'm sorry ooo, I don't intend to take you or your feelings for granted. I'm just surprised that, a girl you've barely known. Lanre: Okay, I understand what u re trying to say. But that's just how I feel about you. I don't know if I'm safe to say I love you. Damilola: (intensifies laugh) Lanre! Episode 3 ....Few months later.... Time went by and gradually, Lanre already started distancing himself from Damilola (he calls that "losing interest"). Timi was less surprised cos that's his usual way. He's actually not happy that Damilola will just go off the hook like that. But in this case, it was not all his fault sha, cos Damilola was forming hard to get, and he's not ready for that sh*t. The confusing thing is that she was not in a relationship. Timi: (in a mockery manner) so who dey on point now? ? Lanre: na Brenda ooo Timi: ??? in ur wildest dreams. I think with this your problem ehn, u need to visit a therapist. Lanre: ehn just say it, say that I'm mad. See oga free me I need rest. Timi: ok now on a serious note, wetin really apun wey u dey distance ursef from Damilola, cos I remember this past 2 months u were all abt Damilola. Calling and texting almost every day. And now suddenly u ain't just in anymore, why???‍♂. Lanre: even me I don't understand. Lemme just say she's not giving in to my talks, it's just as if I'm wasting my time. Lanre's phone rings, and it was Tina. The phone was closer to Timi and when he passed it to Lanre, he saw the name. Both of them were mutual friends to Tina. Timi wasn't paying attention to the call until he heard "I'll meet you there now" and then he drops the call. Lanre: how far Timi make we reach that Plaza for West side estate. Timi: wetin u wan go do for there? Lanre: Na Tina call me ooh say she dey town now, say she wan hangout. Timi: ? Tina call youu to come hangout with her. Lanre: yes me sef shock. Timi: if na so, go alone ooo. why u wan carry me go? Shebi na u she call. Lanre: I for like go alone, but she say she dey with her friend na. So you want make only me dey there with 2 girls. After all their arguments, Timi finally agreed to go with him, and soon they set out for the plaza. On getting to the plaza, Lanre was surprised to find out that Damilola was the friend that Tina was with. Then he spoiled the show by pretending not to know Damilola. Damilola on the other hand too was surprised that Lanre was the one Tina called and he didn't even come alone, he came with his friend. But what's more shocking to Damilola is the fact that Lanre decided to to snub her like she was nothing. And the thing is that to the best of her knowledge, there were not having any kind of misunderstanding or quarrel. It's just been days they talked, which is quite unusual on account of the recent past months. Timi also was surprised at Lanre's action. And he was disappointed ☹️? by that act, but he wouldn't want to let it out there, not when Tina is around. So the three of them just kept their cool and acted as if all was fine cos a conversation had already started in their circle. ...oops.. they left the plaza for a bar immediately Timi and Lanre got there... Tina: it's nice back here in this town ooo. And also it's been a long time. Lanre: this place that is boring af. We're just managing it. Tina: Is it this whole bubbling you call boring? Or maybe you are the boring one. I know you can be boring and even Timi can testify to that, abi no be you again ?? At intervals, Lanre and Damilola would have eye contact, but Lanre will just look away like nothinga happened. Damilola could not bear it anymore, so she excused herself from the Table and shortly after, Timi also excused himself cos he noticed that Damilola was not comfortable. So he intends going in search for her and maybe pull a conversation. And possibly find out what really happened between not of them (Lanre and Damilola). Episode 4 Timi got outside the bar and was unable to see any traces of Damilola that just left the bar barely 20 seconds. ...Back in the bar... Lanre: it's been a very long time oo Tina! Tina: yh, I know right, and that's why when I thought of who to hangout with, I chose you. And I'm even surprised to see you with Timi, I was expecting you alone. She winked? Lanre: yh, maybe I would have been here alone, but when you told me you were here with your friend, I decided to invite him also, maybe I should have just informed you. Tina: well it's okay Sha. Cos I can see the two of them already wanting to start something?? Lanre: I see. I hope not sha. Tina: why? You wan dey do bad belle against your friend again? Lanre: me? Never, you won't understand sha. So how've you been? I was thinking the next time I will see you should be on your wedding day. ? Tina: wedding ke. Lanre: yes naa. Then he knew she was hurt by Lanre's action. Timi got closer to hold Damilola and surprisingly she shunned him.. Damilola: don't try to touch me. You all are the same. Timi: hey! Calm down.. relax Damilola: just let me be.. you are acting like you don't know about this. Timi: well be informed, I'm also surprised as you are, he didn't even tell me you'll be here. Damilola: what are you doing here then... Why am I even asking, just let me be. Timi: okay then if that's what you want. But before I let you be, can I ask you a question? Damilola: about what? Timi: what really happened between both of you that warranted his action? And instead of Damilola answering the question, she bursted and started crying again. At this point, Timi has no choice than to console her. Damilola: I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. ???? Timi: relax dear and talk to me. Timi wiped her tears. And urge her not to cry. Timi: Damilola! You really need to stay strong, maybe you should try and talk to him maybe you'll find out what really happened. Damilola: I'm not interested in talking to him. You can do that. Then she wiped her tears and made sure she was in good shape to join the seat back in the bar, then she left Timi there and headed straight into the bar. Timi was still surprised at her whole outburst. He was expecting her to be submissive or rather expecting her to talk to him. He soon went in to join the others. And on getting there, Damilola was no where to be found. So he asked. Timi: what of Damilola, is she not back since then? Tina: yh she came in and said she needs to be on her way, she has something to do at home. On hearing this, Timi disappointingly looked at Lanre ?? Timi: I think I should be on my way home too I've had enough fun already. Lanre: you wan leave me hear go, but we came here together remember. Tina: it doesn't matter naa. At least non of us are kids anymore. Timi: epp me ask am ooo. Abeg Lanre we'll catch up at ur place later tomorrow ? Lanre: okay ooo no wahala. Soon Timi left and it was Tina and Lanre left. This has been Tina's desire since they came, cos she was already regretting why she brought Damilola along. Now she has the privacy she needs. Lanre on the other hand wasn't happy that Timi left him there. He knew Timi was angry at him. And that alone makes him sad the more. That aside, He and Tina had a nice time and he tried to avoid all Tina's move which was successful Sha. Then they bade each other bye. Now he has to face Timi and his lectures about Damilola... Episode 5 The following day was a Saturday. And definitely, he knows he won't escape Toni's scolding. After he got up from bed that morning, he did his normal routine. And sat down watching movie on his system in the room. Shortly after he started watching the movie (Dead in a week "or get your money back"), there was a knock on the door. 'Ooh that's Timi' so he thought, but was surprised when he opened the door to see Tina standing right there in front of him like a model that she is, gorgeous af. Lanre: ohh Tina! ho...how are you? (stretching to check if she came with someone) Tina: I'm fine obviously, ain't you happy to see me at your place. Lanre: of course I am, just dat I was expecting someone else, and you didn't even call to inform me you'll be coming. What if you didn't meet me at home? He showed her where to sit and went inside to shut down the system. Then he began to hear a conversation from the living room, and he recognized the voice to be Timi's voice. Don't be surprised, Timi don't knock when it comes to Lanre's house. He enters as if he owns it. Well he has a room there. That's where he runs all his secret packages ??. Yh, but he repented sha and decides to stick with Brenda. Tina: yesterday was real nice hanging out with you guys and most especially I had nice time with Lanre. ....She winked at lanre.... They spent some more time together before Tina made to leave, that's after about 2 and half hours. Now is the time Timi had been praying for. Timi: Mr lover?? how far. Falling in and out of love anyhow. He's not happy with the whole kinda person he is sha. But the only girl who he had genuine love for has turned him down, now it's difficult to find another. And seeing this, Damilola will always get jealous and she did a good Job hiding it also. One day Lanre came to work and then he made straight to the elevator and shortly as the elevator was about to close, Damilola joined in. (Stuck in an elevator with the love of his life) he's kinda happy ooo, bt he won't show it, that's very sure. Lanre is also good at pretending. But will Damilola pretend, or will she just bring up a conversation or will she apologize for what she did, or will she flair up for what he did to her at the bar the other day? cos since then, they've never had this kinda opportunity. Episode 7 They both stared at each other eyeball to eyeball. And as Damilola made to apologize, she was still searching for the right words to use when Lanre grabbed her by the waist then planted a wonderful kiss ? on her lips ?. It was epic but their kissing session was cut short when the elevator reached it's destination and they both pathed ways, without saying a word to each other, that's kinda weird sha. So is that how they finally settled their differences of over 1 year. Months went by and they are already back in talking terms. Three months after they got bk on talking terms, They were both in Lanre's living room watching a movie. They were there on the couch, Lanre sitting and Damilola lieing down and resting her head on his lap. Damilola pulled an interesting conversation. Lanre: don't even go there ??‍♂I dnt like talking abt it. Damilola: yh, I know I fucked up bad, but that act you put up that day was very very extremely sudden, I cried for days. Lanre: cried! What were you crying for? Damilola: the thing is, I discovered that I love you so much, and I couldn't forgive mysef owing to the fact that I really did hurt you. Lanre: yh, so what about your guy now, is he bk yet or has he returned? Damilola: well he came back about a year ago now and all my waiting were in vain cos he came BK with a wife. Lanre was still there with his face glued to the TV when Damilola kissed him right on the lips and he reciprocated. Still on the kiss then gradually one thing led to another and before you know it, Lanre grabbed her b****t and was smooching it, she on the other hand responded with a moan, then he upgraded and removed the crop top she was wearing to reveal the full package, from there, he unhooked the bra, nd started to s**k on those b****t switching from right to left and Damilola was enjoying the whole thing as she was m**ning, there she also made the move and located his waist belt, but he was jst putting on joggers, so it was easier. She just fixed her hand inside and brought out his joystick. So as he was s**king the b**bs, she was stroking the joystick in return, B4 u knw it, both of them were unclad. This one with a hard rock, and the other with a dripping wet punani. But safety first, they transported to the room and there they have all the time and space to do what ever they like to each other. he opened his bedside drawer and brought out a condom and put it on his joystick. Then they rode each other switching positions before finally Lanre reached his climax. Damilola: ***sweating profusely*** woah babe, that was nice, I love it. They went in the bathroom together to shower, and in there, another hot round took place ???? Now Lanre got his girl back, he's actually planning to settle down with her as soon as possible. And she already made up her mind to settle down with him, she's just waiting for him to propose. It is already evident that he will. So she can just chill and watch out for the day he will propose. You know guys can be shocking sometimes, he might want to do it as a surprise. But all she knows is that surprise or not, he will propose. Timi is very happy that Lanre of all people is already planning to settle down, although Lanre didn't even tell him what transpired between Him and Damilola the other time that resulted to his action at the bar, but right now, all that does not matter anymore as they are now looking out for a better future with each other ?? that alone is amazing. Just in the middle of their new found Love and affection for each other something happened. Or rather they discovered something. That they were not compatible for each other. ?? Episode 8 Lanre: but please doctor isn't there anyway you can help us out with this? Doctor: Mr. Lanre! There's nothing I can do. As you can see I've done the analysis for both of you. Lanre: So your conclusion now is that we ain't compatible for marriage abi. Doctor: You see, if you guys get married and give birth, the tendency of you guys giving birth to a child with the sickle cell syndrome is very very high. Lanre: ??‍♂ babe u are not saying anything. Babe! Babe!! Damilola: what do you want me to say about this? That the doctor should change the genotype or what? You are AS and I am AS. This is the saddest news Lanre has heard in a very long time after he lost his one and only brother. And if he could also recall, his brother also has this sickle cell syndrome. After about 2 weeks, and after so much thinking, he called the doctor again. Lanre: hello doctor this is Mr Lanre Doctor: of course I know I have your number. Hope there's no problem? Then after almost one hour that seem like the whole day, the doctor came out, and both of them rushed the doctor as though he was their father who has travelled for a very long time. Episode 11 The whole stuff was like a movie when it was made known to Damilola that their blood wasn't compatible, what this means is that, Damilola's blood can't be transfused to Lanre. So the next available option was Timi. They were hoping Timi's blood would be compatible. Doctor: Mr Timi right? (Timi nodded in agreement) what's your blood group? Timi: it's O+. Why do you ask? Is there any problem? Doctor: Yes, a little one, Damilola's blood was not compatible. Your friend Lanre is A+ while Damilola is B-. So her blood can't be transfused to Lanre. So Mr Timi, are you sure about your blood group. Timi: yes doctor, we can even run a test, and also I'm free of any kind of disease or virus. Doctor: Okay, when last did you go for a check up? Timi: it's about a week ago. I have a hospital where I do my check up on a monthly basis. Doctor: What we're about to do now is very risky and unprofessional, but we have to save your friend, and I would have run a test, bit it would consume more time.
