Some people are ungrateful,
no matter what you do . . .
some just think they deserve
to always be catered to.
Some are unappreciative,
they show no gratitude
they have an ingrate spirit
with a thankless attitude.
Some people can’t be thankful,
for the gift of a new day
the words Thank You Father . . .
they don’t know how to say.
Some are too self involved,
caught up in their haughtiness
that they cannot see beyond
their thankless arrogance.
Some people are ungrateful,
no matter what you do . . .
but Lord, that’s okay with me
because all I do is for You!
