Just as was the case with
comments from Americans on J-
Cole’s performance in the Castle
Light concert which held in
Lagos recently, Young6ix became
a victim of racism after he took
to Drake’s post to drop an
innocent comment.
Drake, whose IG moniker is
Champagnepapi, took to his IG
account to share a picture of
himself with a colleague in a
highly sophisticated automobile
with the caption “Hush Hush.” As
usual, comments flooded in from
all angles, and our own Young6ix
also dropped his comment. But
his comment was considered
“dumb” by some white folks
who saw it.
Young6ix simply commented
Drake’s username like some sort
of “hailing” like we do it here in
Nigeria. He simply wrote;
“Champagne Papi.” That
comment seemed odd to the
Americans who replied him
saying; “You literally just
commented his username. Why?”
Another replied saying; “Lol. I
was wondering why it had 10
likes.” That wasn’t all.
The worst reply came from a
certain @jb23x who savagely
replied saying; “@yung6ix, 1.1
million followers and I don’t have
a clue who you are.” That was
how Drake’s fans mocked
Young6ix on Instagram, and it’s
far from being fair.
