'Essien David Paul' populary known by his stage name 'DAVIDEST' is a Nigerian recording artist, performer and entertainer ,best known for his chat topped hit track 'CALABAR GENERAL' which was all over the city of calabar , Cross river state Nigeria.
He's the frontier of TSTRECORDZ GANGZ, a crew/Label based in calabar.
DAVIDEST was born in the 18th of June 1993 into the family of 'Chief Paul Joseph' Essien of Abak, Akwa ibom state Nigeria. Currently studying AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION in the University of calabar,Nigeria.


<b>MUSIC CAREER</b>

Davidest started his music career at the early stage of 2013 when he dropped his first freestyle Titled, 'SLOW WATER' prod by leaf4joy</b>, Earlier 2014 he decided to work on another banger Titled 'NA WAHALA' which he featured WHEEZDURU in. It was produced by 'blaze z xclusive', that same year he dropped another hit track 'FLEX ZONE' featuring 'YOUNG P' produced by 'iyzeal' and in 2016 he dropped 'CALABAR GENERAL' which was produced by 'Bstar' which showed him out to the entire globe.
Finally Dropped 'SONG TITLE' prod by 'blaze z x iyzeal 'and he's still working on more hits.

DAVIDEST has listed acts like Davido, Olamide, Tu face, Phyno and many more as his musical influence.
