Mr toms house is a storey building. Their sitting room is well furnished with mordern furnitures and there is a big plasma abot 80 inchies hung on the wall along side with samsung home theatre mr tom is a chartered accountant who work with one of the biggest firm in nigeria while mrs tom happens to be a bussines woman, she has a big super market and all the things she sells are imported from oversea. Mr and mrs tom are blessed with a boy (jerry) and a girl (linda), linda who was the younges is just 14 years old, 'same age with dave' while jery is 16 years. On this saturday, the tom family where in the sitting room watching t.v after lunch, there was a knock on the door and linda went to open the door ''Good afternoon ma, good afternoon sir'' linda greeted. ''good afternoon my daughter'' mr and mrs ekong chorus with dave in the middle. Mummy it's grandma and grandpa'' linda shouted,she ushered them into the sitting room where are parents are sitting down. Dave was dazed at the sight of the tom's family sitting room, he compared it to the own in the village and the different was just too much for him to start comparing. Mr and mrs tom greeted there visitor before mrs top stood up to go and bring a bottle of cold water for them. "how are you doing my children?" we are fine replied mr and mrs tom. And how is the village, hope there is no problem there, fine my child mr ekong reply whild gulping down the cold water. After some minute of silence mr ekong clear is throat and started. '' my son" he was refering to mr tom. You and your wife must have discuss about this. This is dave my son, "he pointed to dave" that you said he should come and live with you. Yes we have discussed about it and i have prepared everything for him, he will resume school next week, said mr tom. Thank you very much my son, please help me take good care of him, if he does anything that is not good, which i believe he can't do, please talk senses into him and don't let him join bad gangs in school, because life in the city is very rough, and i belief you and your wife will help me take good care of him'' mrs ekong said. What will you like to eat? Mr and mrs tom asked. Anything said mrs ekong. Mrs tom told linda to take dave to the visitors room. Dave stoodup and carried his GHANA MUST GO and followed linda. Mr and mrs ekong went back the next day, they advised there son. You know this is a strange place, listen to whatever your aunt and uncle tells you,never disobey them, you kow they are now your parent and make sure you learn very well in school because that is the main reason you are here. After all these advice they departed. But however a week after dave's arival some obnoxious happened. Sit down, relax read and learn

After a week of dave's arrival into the tom's family, he has started school, he was in jss2, while jerry is in jss3 and linda in jss2. "Dave" mrs called out, "yes ma" Dave answered runing to the sitting room where mrs tom is sitting watching tv. What is your duty in this house? Sweeping and washing plates ma, dave said. "As from now on, you will start cleaning my shoes and my children's own, wash my car and my husband's car and make sure you always wash all the dirty cloth in this house. Every saturday, you must do the general clean up, is that clear?'' dave was looking round wondering if he heard everything very well. What is it? Oh, do you think i brought you to this house to just come and eat and sweep, or whatever you call it? If that is what you are thinking, then you are doing a great mistake, you are here to work, cause am going to work as well to pay your school fees and feed you. Just get out of here, mrs tom fired. It was on monday morning, the toms's family where to go to school includen dave, they all entered inside mrs tom's car to school, when they got to school and were about to alert from the car to go to their various classes, mr tom gave jerry and lind 200 naira each to buy whatever they wish to buy incase they are not ok with there food and told dave to just eat what he has in his lunch box but dave was not suprise or feel anyhow cause he was used to eating nothing while he was in the village. However everything went fine in school because dave is a brilliant boy and his teachers loves him alot. After school hours, they rang the bell for lesson, so dave remained in his class since they have been told to do lesson but jerry went to a corner in the school with his girl friend rebecca to discuss some unneccesarry thing. After some time linda came to call jerry that she was through with her own lesson, so they both went to call dave. "Dave we are going home" jerry shouted from outside. Dave took excuse to go and meet jerry and linda. " please wait we are almost through, please just thirty minute" dave begged. " who will wait for you, see we are hungry and i think you know the way home, so meet us at home'' but remember mum said we should always come home together . "dave we can't wait for you am very hungry" linda relied. "come here" the teacher in dave class called them when the arguement was getting thougher. What is the problem? I said they should wait that we will soon finish lesson but they wouldn't listen. Is that true? The teacher asked jerry and linda. Yes ma. We are hungry and he knows the way home. But jerry your class mate are still doing lesson, how come you are going home? Am hungry ma and i can't wait. "Oh. I see", the teacher replied nodding are head. "but just wait for him, we will be through very soon" ok ma. Jerry and linda chorus. However jerry and linda went out to board a bike and they went home. When they got home they met their mum at home and she ask them what of david? "He said he wants to play ball that he will come home when his done playing ball" linda lied. Is that true? Mrs tom asked jerry. Yes mum i even persuaded him but he wouldn't listen. "He will come home and meet me". Mrs tom said angrilly. When dave was through in school he started to look for linda and jerry but he could not find them, so he decided to go home and check them. When dave got home he met miss tom in the in the sitting room. "Good afternoon ma" he greeted. "Bad afternon sir", she responded. Come here what kept you so long? As dave was trying to explain, she gave him a dirty slap on his face,and started to hit him hard untill she was tired. "stupid boy, you where playing ball and you come he to lie for me. Go and pack those plate in the kitchen and wash for me after that pack my children's uniform and wash them for me, if u like pack your own too. If you finish sweep and mop the whole house for me" mrs tom said not minding if dave has eaten. Then dave knew he was in for it.. Sorry for late update, some thing funny happened, please bear with me, i will make it up to you guyz.

@ITMRABZEEZ, in the 1st episode u said dey are all 14yrs. Check it. His sisters joy and d other one

( 3years laters) Dave is now in sss2,linda in sss1 and jerry in sss3. It was on a friday they were in school, school closes by 12:30 pm every friday and fellowship starts from 12:40 and ends by 2:00 pm. All the classes were through with the day work. Linda went to meet jerry in the usual corner he usually stays to talk with his babe " jerry please let us go home, i want to go and finish the film we were watching yesterday before going to bed" but you know dave is the fellowship president, he will be very busy by now. Jerry told linda, '' no o , we will tell mummy we are humgry" ok, no problem, please give me 30 minute, i will meet you outside'' After about an hour jerry went to meet linda. "linda let go and tell dave that we are going home first so he woun't start looking for us. Ok. Linda agreed. Later they found dave in the fellowship hall. " Dave" linda called out. "Yes" we want to go home. Are you not waiting for fellowship? No, we can't wait, jerry replied. Ok no problem, dave did not bothered to argue with them cause he knew they woun't anwer. Okada ! Okada ! Linda and favour shouted. An okada stopped right in front of them, they both climbed and went, as they were going a trailer lossed control and was coming in front of the okada, the okada man was also trying to contro himself but the trailer was faster than him and it jammed the okada man and the passenger into the gulter. The okada man died instantly while linda and jerry were unconscious. The people who were at the scene at the time of the incident rushed forward to help them and took them to the nearest hospital( Cross hospital) the doctoq knew there parents ,because that is their family hospital, so he quickly called their dad. "helo mr tom'' this is doctor Timi . "Helo my good friend, how do you do?" mr tom greeted. "How do you do?" hope there is no problem. Mr tom asked. " well just come to the hospital right now." The doctor cut the line. Without wasting any time, mr tom took his car key and off he drove to the hospital. When he got there he went straight to the doctor's office, wondering why he has an emergency call from him. He knocked when he got the door and he was asked to come in. " Good afternon doctor, hope there is no problem". "Good afternoon mr tom, you can have your seat". Well your children had bike accident when they were going home from school . What? My children? How come? How did it happen?. Mr. Tom was so shocked to hear this. You wouldn't have allow them to take bike, you know that bike riders are so rough and reckless. What about their brother. The doctor asked. They went to school together, are they ok? "yes, God really saved them, because the okada man died instantly. Only jerry that was roughly injured. Linda was just bleeding from the nose, so it not that serious. Thank yo so much, i will go to the school right now to see their brother if he is fine. Mr. Tom drove to the children's school ,he asked of david from a student. " Good evening boy, do you know dave Ekong ?" yes he is in the fellowship hall. Please can you direct me to the place? If you reach upstairs the second class hall by the left,you will start hearing the speaker. " Thank you" mr. Tom went upstair as directed, when he got there he saw david preaching about "patience", he listened to what david was saying, dave also saw him but didn't go and meet him because he was preaching. When they finished they shared the grace and all departed. Dave went straight to meet Mr. Tom. "Good afternoon sir" "Göod afternoon" where are is your sister and brother?. Mr. Tom asked . " They told me that they wanted to go home, that they can't wait for the fellowship, i told them to wait but they wouldn't listen" Dave said . So i belief they should be at home , he concluded. 2 months later Jerry and linda were discharged from the hospital, they were unable to write the school examination which was the promotional examination, but due to what happen to them, they were given promotion untrial. Jerry ''SSCE" was also fast approching. The school resumed for a new term, everywhere was dusty, the student did clean up and settle down in their classes for the day's work. A week after the resumption the school chose the school prefects. Dave was made the head boy because of his performance since he entered the school and also because of his good conduct. Mrs.Tom no longer give him breathing space, it's now from one work to the other but despite all odd he maintain the good grades and conduct. It happen on a friday even when Mrs. Tom travelled out of the country to go and buy goods from china, Jerry and linda had left sleft school earliar like they always did, dave was still busy in school with the fellowship. However dave was very tired as he trekked home. On getting home dave was surprise that the house was very quiet, but has he entered into the main parlour about to go to his own room he heard a faint nose from linda's room, it was as if someone was mourning in pleasure. Dave first of all stood still to confirm if his ears were not trying to play a kind of trick on him. But d voice was coming again and again. Dave then decided to moov closer to the door to confirm his fair, because how can linda bring a guy home to come and do non sense with her all because her mum travelled just for day. He also collected present in six subjects. Maths, english, physics, biology, chemistry and economics. When she came the next day she met the key where she kept it and went to the saving box to count her money, she found out that her money was complete and intact the way she had left it. She didn't say anything and she started to study Dave. After three weeks big mama purposely kept #10000 on the table before she went home. The next day when she came back she found out that her money was no longer there, she didn't say anything. "mummy, you forgot your money here on the table yesterday ma" said dave. "oh, really? Thank you very much". Big mama pretended. After a week there was a serious robbery in the market. Harm robbers came to rub most of the biggest stores in the market and many lives where lost. The police also came late and the robbers excaped. That night police where patroling round the market square when they another guy trying to break into another shop. However the guy did not stop but started to run and two police got down and gave him a hot chase, the guy was still runing and he ran to where dave and other guys who does not have home normally sleep. When the police got there they arrested everyone they met there and took them to the police station. The next day when big mama got to the shop she did not see dave, she waited and waited and there was not sign of dave then she became scared. She search inside the shop and dave clothes were still they, she was just wondering what might have happen that made dave not to come to thd shop, she also know that dave can not just mis work without any reason. It was on a sunday even the Tom's where having familily discussion when linda just stoodup and ran to the bathroom and vomit. Mrs. Tom also stood up and followed her then minute later they came back. Mr. Tom and emma came to a conclusion that he wil come go and see emma's parent. The next saturday mrs.tom, linda and mr.tom went to emma's house, when they got their they met his parent at home . "Good afteroon, we are mr and mrs tom and this is our daugher linda. Hope your son told you the reason for our visit". "visit? No. Emma. Emma. Come here". Mrs. Adeyemi called out. Yes ma. "sit down there" "you are welcome. We are sorry, you see this boy never told us anything, he never informed us that we were going to have a visitor. So please what is the cause of this visit". Said mrs. adeyemi. "Ok. I will go straight to the point because we don't have all days" Mrs. Adeyemi : ok. Mr. Tom : Last week sunday we were at home during the family time when my daughter stoodup and rush to the toilet to go and vomit at the toilet, when she came back, she went again. Then thought may be it was malaria or fever so i have to rush her down to the hospital only for the doctor to tell me that she's 3 weeks pregnant plus this one. Making for week which is a month. I was very angry and her told my wife that i don't want to see her in my house without bringing the person responsible for this home. Then on monday she came home with this young man... Mrs Adeyemi : you mean my own son? Emma? Mrs adeyemi asked in suprise, )all this while Mr. Adeyemi was just sitting quietly.while mrs tom was sweating in the air conditional room). Mr. Tom : I was very annoy Mr. Adeyemi : is that true?(he asked facing emma) Emma : yes.. No .. Yes sir(taawai . A very hot slap landed on his face from his dad). Mr Adeyemi : wil you talk? What do you mean by yes.. No. Emma : yes sir. But it has been long we had sex last. Mr Adeyemi : like how many weeks? Emma : 3 months. Mrs. Tom : will you keep shut? Liar. Mrs Adeyemi : there is no keeping shut about this cause they are the two involved. But not withstanding. We agree Emma is responsible now till the time she gives birth. Mrs. Tom : what do you mean by to to the time she gives birth. Mrs. Adeyemi : yes. When she give birth we will have to carry a DNA test of the baby and then we asume full responsibility. Is that not my dear? Mr. Adeyemi : yes . (with this mr and mrs tom could not talk again and they had no option than to agree. They later bade each other good bye and left). * * * * * * 8 months later Linda was in the labour room and after what seems like an hour she gave birth to a bouncing baby girl. What supose to be a thing of happines and joy became a thing of fear and saddnes to jerry and mrs tom. Mr. Tom was happy but at the same time ashame. The Adeyemi's came to visit them in the hospital and later went home to visit them when they were discharge. They bought lots of things for the baby.infact they never behave in any doubtful way and this made mrs tom to be alittle calm. After thre months.The adeyemi rented a very nice apartment for there son and linda as husband and wife. Mrs tom was happy that her secret was already covered. * * * After a year. Mr and mrs Adeyemi went to see mr and mrs to that it was time they go for the DNA test. Mrs. Tom became very scared but has no choice than to agree cause that was the agreement. Mr. Tom on his own has no problem with that. They schedule a date for that. Finally the day arrived and the test was carried out. The test was negative. This made Mrs. Tom to colapse and she was quickly revive. They Adeyemi's took emma home and told him that they are sure he must have learnt his lesson. When Mr and Mrs. Tom got home. Mr. Tom made things very unbearable for Mrs. Tom and Linda. And when linda woundn't talk he pounced on her with full force but she wound't talk. While this was going on they heard a knock on the door. Mr. Tom : who is that? Jerry go and open the door. (when jerry opened the door a fair tall fat woman walk in, follow by a young man. The young man was no other person than dave. Then dave mum and dad entered). Mr tom : what!! Dave? Where went you?( dave did not talk, he was just lookin. He is now an achietect. When mrs tom turned back and saw dave with his parents' she almost faint. There was so much tension in the room.)

Since then dave became biv mama son, he continue to visit her anytime his off work and he started to treat her as if she were is real mother. However he never forgot his biological parents. Mr. Tom also promise to see his own children(linda and jerry) throughout there higher institution. But the question is can they even pass jamb to talk of post jamb. THE END.
