[b]When I was lost in the eternity of sorrow
There was always a comrade, like an hero

When I was downcast with heavy burden
There was always this angel for me who helps me by breaking the rules that were forbidden

Do you want to know who this Angel is?
Of course I will tell you her name with ease

Her name is Lorrenta
She is from Bayelsa

She was by my side throught it all
She was there to catch me when I fall

She didn’t stop there but also gave me a lift
Lorrenta is just a rare gift

She doesn’t know me well but she cares about me anyway
No day will pass without she not asking me if I am okay

She teases me in all good fun
She doesn’t care if I have lost or won

Lorrenta, you are really a fairy in disguise
Full of intelligence, brilliance and wise

Though I have put our friendship in some cloudy days
You have still remained my sunshine in many ways

Indeed you have saved me many times from depression
Who am I not to show appreciation?

Thank you so much my lora, my friend
My gratitude for you knows no end

I can’t promise to be by your side everyday
But I promise you will always remain domiciled in my heart as I pray for you each day
