[b]If you are planning a small get together or a child’s party and want to offer an easy snack that can be taken on the run, corndogs is perfect, especially if the party is cocktail-style.

Here is how to bake corndogs recipe.

Ingredients

thin slices of cheddar cheese.
10 Hot dogs.
2 cups flour.
1.5 cups yellow cornmeal.
½ cup of sugar.
2 table spoons baking soda.
½ tsp salt.
½ tsp black pepper.
2 cups milk.
2 minced Jalapenos.
2 quarts of oil for frying.
Baking the Corndogs

Wrap a slice of cheese around each hotdog.
Insert a wooden skewer in each hot dog and place them on a baking sheet.
Freeze them for 20 minutes.
Thoroughly mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl, and then mix in the milk, egg and jalapeno peppers.
Stir until batter is smooth.
Preheat oil to about 180 degrees Celsius.
Pour batter into a tall glass for easier dipping.
Take out frozen hot dogs and fully immerse in batter. When taking it out, rotate until batter is properly wrapped round it and all excesses removed.
Carefully hold each hot dog in the hot oil, use tongs to prevent burning and rotate for even frying. Cook until golden brown all over.
