Great skin is the first step to achieving a flawless makeup look, and if your skin is flawed, there is no amount of makeup that can repair or cover up that damage. Hence the struggle for that great no makeup look.

Having a smooth face is every girl’s dream, taking off your makeup and having the same amount of confidence as when you had makeup on is one of the most beautiful feelings. That’s why women ensure that they do whatever is necessary to achieve flawless skin that is admired by everyone.

Most times, we invest in products, and none of them gives the desired results. Other times, it is because we aren’t doing it right probably. The question is how do you achieve a flawless face so your makeup will look better and you would feel more confident on your no makeup day.

Here are some easy steps to take and if you follow them religiously, you just might be the new flawless chic on the block.

Removing Previous Makeup Removing your makeup before bed cannot be over emphasised. This step is one you must never forget or take for granted. The reason is taking off your makeup before bed gives your skin a while to breathe. The (Facial) skin is very delicate, and the extra amount of care we give will determine if it will listen and cooperate with us. Overdue makeup ruins the skin so do not forget to take off your makeup preferably with a facial wipe.

Wash Your Face Washing your face is the second step to take, after cleaning your face with a facial wipe. Ensure to wash out any extra makeup which the wipes didn’t take off. Trust me; The wipes do not take it all out most times. If you are particular about your face then washing it should be your second mission. When washing your face, avoid the use of sponges and hard substances on your face. Use your hands and wash thoroughly, it is advisable to use a separate soap for just your face and another for your body.

After washing your face, use a separate towel to dry your face. Yes! I know it is a lot to take in, but for the desired result, body and face have to be catered to differently.

Use Dermatologist Recommended Facial Cleanser There are different facial cleansers in the market, but getting that one that is perfect for your skin is a struggle. So why don’t you save yourself the stress of taking countless trips to the supermarket and pay that one visit to the dermatologist who will decide what cleanser will do the job for you?

Use Recommended Cream or Lotions for Ache or Pimples After your facial cleanser, you would need to apply cream that best works for your skin. This is also part of the decision your dermatologist should make for you. Avoid the use of toning lotions (bleaching cream), stick to what works for your skin.

Facials If you can, try to book a facial appointment at least once a month. This also helps with the entire flawless process.

Drink Water Most times when you ask people how they achieved such a great skin, they just say “I drink a lot of water”. This is not a lie. Drinking water keeps you looking fresh and ageless, so drink lots of it and view the benefits.

So there you have it. Follow this easy steps to achieve that flawless look. Please share your personal tips in the comment section on how to achieve a smooth skin.
