Registering your business/company in
Nigeria is very easy these days. You can
now register your company or your business name directly by yourself and in a day.
The Corporate Affairs
Commission of Nigeria registers
Nigerian businesses/companies.
Visit any of the Corporate Affairs
Commission offices located in the state capitals. Come with two passport sized photographs and an identification card. Make sure your ID cards are valid (National ID card, Drivers License,
International Passport, Voters Card will do). Note that to
register a business name, it will cost you N10,850, while to
register a Limited Liability Company it will cost you N27,500.

The reduction in the registration prices came as a result of a
recent reform made by the CAC to collapse some business
registration fees and GEMS3 are in support of that.
