Episode 6
**That night,after asking my self lots of questions,I heard a knock on the door,coming i said to whoever that was knocking after adjusting my self,pretending everything was fine. My mummy came in.
Mum : My son,, hope you are good?
Me : Yes mum, hope no problem?
Mum : (Smiled) Not at all,but we need to talk.
Me : Ok, am listening.
Mum : **Cleared throat** Ermm, my son… you know i love you so much?
**I nodded**
And i will always do things to make you happy,, please don't listen to your father,if he tells you anything concerning your biological father issues.
Me : (Pretence) Mum what do you mean by biological father issues? I mean i don't get you.
Mum : You see!! I have a son,he was born four years before you were born, One day when he was in school, he left school without the notice of the teachers,although he was four years, I came to pick him up after school, on getting there, I didn't see my son,the teachers even the securities said didn't noticed how he get to leave the school,,we searched the whole school,but he wasn't in the school, I had to call your dad,he left whatever he was doing,he came to the school,we have no options than to report to the police immediately, they told us to get his picture, we handed his pictures over to them,so that they can also help look for him,I wept all day,I was totally confused,we are to sue the school to court, but we are Christian, so we decide to leave everything in the hands of God,week pass,the police couldn't give us a good report,your dad also didn't concentrate in his job then,instead of his company to give him some time off,, they sacked him,accusing him for so much damage, your biological mother have giving birth to you,but she died in the process,then your biological father had nothing, life was hard for him then,the only sauce on how he feeds with your late mum was your father,until he lost his job things became hard for him,, when you finally turned 1years,your biological father came with you to our house, then told us he was going for one business, and its going last for two weeks,and asked us to take care of you,which i accepted with a clean heart,not knowing he was running away,month, years past,your biological dad never showed up,since we had no baby,we then decide to make you our son,,and the believe that our own son is dead,life was hard but we managed to open a little provision store,we were doing good then,and also we trained you in big school,until the faithful night armed robbers attacked us and left with all the money made for that day,instead of us to suffer further,we had to come here in the village,,one years later,strange number called us,it was an international number,your dad picked and to our greatest surprise it was your biological father,he told us he was now in Dubai, it was a good and great thing but it was also my great fear,that one day he will come and take you away and today he came and wants to come and take you with him to Abuja.
**Crying this time** My son please don't leave me alone.
**I felt for her and promised not to leave her and will always know her as my biological mother,and i also told her i am going to follow my uncle,because i need to go out of the village,at least, go to better schools,she rejected at first but later accepted, until she left my room,
all this story she told me really touched me,and i also understand that my biological father left me for hustling, but he should have told my parents the truth,my real parents are the ones am staying with no matter what. I said to my self"
I knew when armed robbers attacked us in the city and how we came down to the village,my dad also suffered then anyways such is life.
The next day was Saturday,, my uncle came again,he bought cool things for me,clothes and so many thing I don't even dreamt of coming so soon, he also said i should prepare myself on Monday for our journey to abuja, I was so happy.. I also went to chidinma house,but she wasn't around,I saw Cynthia on the way,I told her i was leaving the village for good,but she thought it was one of my jokes, but she see I was serious in what i was telling her before she believed, she couldn't believe all i just said to her,she hugged me tight as if i was already on my way out,when i was through with her,I went see chidi's home.
On getting there,I didn't see anyone at the house,but the door was opened.
I slowly walked inside,head to chidi room,I jokingly pushed the door without knocking. To my greatest surprise,
I saw Chidi and Chidinma kissing!!!!
WTF!!!!! Heart broken.
