Infinix Mobility has finally launched Infinix Hot 6 into its Hot series, following last year’s Infinix Hot 5. It carries a wide range of better features compared to its predecessors in the Hot series.

Featuring an impressive dual rear camera, it is the first time the feature is found on an a Hot series smartphone. A significant change is the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, along with an 18:9 aspect ratio screen. Let’s explore other specs of the Infinix Hot 6.

Infinix Hot 6 Key Specs and Features
6-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 720 x 1440 pixels
Android 8.1 Oreo with 2GB
Quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425
16GB built-in storage, upgradeable to 128GB
13MP + 2MP rear camera and 5MP front camera
Fingerprint Scanner
4000mAh non-removable Li-Ion Battery

Design
The Infinix Hot 6 features an aesthetic body design, alongside a well designed plastic body. The dual rear shooters also added did a very good job in beautifying the outlook of the device.

As usual, the fingerprint scanner is located at the central upper position on the back of the device. Volume Keys and the power key cited at the right hand edge of the phone while the SIM tray is by the left edge. In terms of thikness, it measures 7.8mm and weighs 145g. The Hot 6 will be available in 4 colors; Sandstone Black, Magic Gold, Bordeaux Red and City Blue.

Display
The display feature carries the trending bezel-less display, dishing out an 18:9 aspect ratio on its screen. The side bezels are mildly conspicuous while the top and bottom bezels are minimal.

The screen is honed by a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen avaliing you a wide screen view. It has a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and 282 pixels per inch density dishing out amazing visuals. The screen reaches up to a 76.1% screen to body ratio, showing more screen than bezels.

Hardware and Software
Just like I outlined above as one of the headline features, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 425 chip from Qualcomm running on a quad-core processor with 64-bit CPU architecture at a speed of 1.4GHz. Graphics should work just fine with popular games like Modern Combat with an Adreno 308 graphics processor. Infinix Hot 6 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with XOS 3.0 Hummingbird.

For optimization and multitasking, there is 2GB of RAM for that with a speed of 667MHz. Storage capacity is 16GB, expandable up to 128GB via microSD Card.

Camera
Yea, Infinix have always delivered excellent camera capabilities even in their budget smartphones and the Infinix Hot 6 is no exception, powered by a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and another 2MP telephoto shooter beside it with LED flash, flanked on the front shooter by a 5MP selfie camera also with LED flash too.

Battery
The Infinix Hot 6 is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 4000mAh battery with fast charging technology.
