Hurray! Infinix Mobility has just released a new OTA update for the Infinix Note 5 (X604) smartphone launched few months ago. Infinix Note 5 users now have a reason to smile as they can now enjoy the newly added features that is available in the update.
The new update on the Infinix Note5 (X604) comes with features including optimized system stability, better performance, Face ID and much more.

Updating your infinix device via OTA is very simple and straightforward. First off, there are some things you need to put in place before you embark on the journey of updating your device.
*Requirements
1. If your phone is rooted, endeavor to unroot it as your phone might get bricked if you try to install the the update on a rooted device. Kindly revert to the stock ROM too is the device is running on a custom ROM.
2. Next, make sure you have at least 1gb of data on your device to successfully download the update, so it will not disconnect when downloading due to insufficient data. Also, have a free storage of at least 3GB for it to install properly.
3. To download the update, head over to Phone Settings => About Phone => System Update. This will tell if the update has arrived on your device. If it’s available, simply tap on the download button to begin download and installation.
