Yes our 15 years of patience is about to be rewarded today, I'm about to be called a Father in the next few hours, Mr. Ajani said to himself as he moves from one end of the hospital reception to the other end. He was so restless, and kept on praying as if he was citing incantations... The nurses who were familiar with such, comported themselves even when they knew he was disturbing other patients... But what I was told won't take up to an hour, is now taking the whole day. Waiting outside the operation room was making me feel helpless, because the mother of my unborn child is in there fighting for her life and also the life of our unborn child, and here I am sitting outside the operation room helplessly. Mr. Ajani kept on believing and telling himself that 'everything was going to be alright' even though he was frighten deep within... Few hours later, he heard the cry of a baby, it was so soft but loud. It wasn't long when he saw the doctor coming out from the operation room. With the look on his face, Mr. Ajani knew all was not well... He felt an unusual feeling when the doctor was more closer. The doctor stood in front of him, and began to console him with words that seems annoying to him at that moment; GOD gives and take my brother, was the first statement that came out from the doctor's mouth. Mr. Ajani couldn't believe his eyes; "Does it mean the baby cry I heard some minutes ago was an illusion? He asked the doctor. But the doctor kept on with his words; "My brother Please take heart, Your baby is fine and healthy but we lost her..." "Don't tell me my wife is dead?" Mr. Ajani asked him on hearing this. Instantly Mr. Ajani felt a sharp pain in his heart and saw himself falling down helplessly, without even seeing the face of his newly born baby. He was imagining how his baby will survive alone in this cruel world. He really doesn't have the resources to train the child, especially when his wife is not there to help nurture him. [b]EPISODE 2 The doctor who felt pity on Mr. Ajani promised not to take a peanut from him, and that he can discharge the baby the next day, and if possible take the child to an orphanage home since the baby will need proper care and nursing. Mr. Ajani whose mind was made up, that he won't be training the child himself energetically discharged with the child that night. Mr. Ajani left the hospital exactly 11:45PM not knowing what to do and where to take the baby to... He was moving from street to street with the moon and stars seen as the only live object, along the path he took. He was so confused as he sat on a mini-store when the baby started crying. He noticed the cold atmosphere was becoming unbearable for the child so he pulled off his shirt and wrapped the baby with it, but still the voice of the baby still echo in the thin air. He placed the baby's mouth on his thinly acuminous nipple, but the baby kept on crying more and more. Mr. Ajani had no other choice than to put his index finger inside the baby's mouth. It was obvious that the baby was really hungry as he bit and suck the finger tingling Mr. Ajani. He was now a little bit relaxed since the voice of the baby is no longer heard. He remained there for the next 2 hours meditating and dealing with several thoughts that engulf his mind, especially on how he will spend the remaining years of his life as a widower. He was still weighing the different suggestion drafted in his thought when he discovered the baby has fallen asleep. He stylishly placed the baby under a table which was in front of the shop, and went home that night. Reaching home he couldn't sleep, he was thinking of the baby and hoping the child is been seen by a rich fellow and nurtured to be a star. He later had a second thought that; ''Why can't he go back and bring the child home, hoping someone in his neighborhood can help in bringing the child up, or better still remarry''. I so much love my wife and if I remarry, it might result to an unforseen omen, he said conclusively. Mr. Ajani was termed the most confused human that minute, as he couldn't come up with a particular decision, that very night. Around 5:37am he later closed his eyes and dozed off... -- -- -- MORNING (8:12AM) MARKET PREMISES Who is that heartless and evil lady that dropped her baby in front of my shop? Was the exact word that came out from Mrs. Teresa's mouth. Her voice pulled out a clique of market women who were shocked with the situation at hand. They started pouring curses on the mother of the child, as they see the act as a calamitous and evil one. Mrs. Anneth who was among the market women present in the scene, walked towards the baby who started crying because of the noise caused by the women. She placed the baby on her arms with the head facing her chest. She tapped the child's buttocks which makes him smile instead of crying, and called him KUKOYI meaning "death rejects this one". All the market women were surprised she picked up a child she barely knows how he came into this world, and suggested she take the child to the police station. But she refused, she told them that such baby needs care, love and support which she will offer to the child. Instead of opening her shop, she took her small bag and all she came with from the table she kept them, and went off with the child.... The traders and buyers who witnessed it couldn't say anything order than to watch her, as she walk away with the child... . . TO BE CONTINUED...[/b]

Haba!! is there nobody living in this house again? Mama!!! I'm back ooooo!!! Where could all the living souls in this house gone to, but I told them I'll be coming back home today or could it be they've forgotten about my coming... I better wait for them to come back... Irawo exclaimed He managed to get himself a seat where he decided to wait patiently for his beloved mother and lovely sister. Sitting down on the stool he found, and looking around the compound made him remembered the old times when he usually engage in silly games as a very young boy, those crazy and rugged adventures he had with friends before he left for boarding school, keep on replaying in his inner mind. Especially those bad things he did with friends, which he knew were against the teaching of his mother. The crazy and sinful act he partook in every night seems to linger afresh in his memory... He knew that now that he has returned back home his endeavors will be filled with lots of sinful adventures, but he doesn't know why he always had this pessimistic feeling that something bad will happen if he continues in that pathway. He was still having lot of imagination when he slept off, while sleeping he had a dream of a particular girl who came and sat with him there. Only to wake up and discovered it was just a dream... He has not for once had a dream about a girl, what could be the meaning of this he questioned himself as he sat properly... . . . . TO BE CONTINUED...[/b] Next episode follows immediately...

[b]EPISODE 5 Irawo waited outside for more than 5hours, yet his mother and sister hasn't returned. He decided to check on them at the shop, because he knew since they aren't at home they must surely be there. He trekked to the market which is about 30mins walk, and found his mother and eldest sister discussing happily . They were pleased to see him, and welcomed him warmly; MUM: Imagine how big you are now, I can see you guys are enjoying in school. IRAWO: Not as you think ma, the boarding is pretty annoying sometimes, especially seeing only guys. That is why I missed sister Abiodu alot ABIODU: Look at your corn head, so you prefer a mixed school eh? Well thank God you have successfully finished your SSCE. MUM: You both like quarrelling alot. Now that Irawo is back we can now concentrate on how Abiodu will go to the university, you know she sacrificed her school for you to round up first IRAWO: Yes mama MUM: So its time for you to sacrifice for her, we will both work hard to raised money that we will be sending to her just as she did for you IRAWO: I have no problem with that, I will see my friends to get update on the best paying job in town ABIODU: I don't like those your so called friends oo, especially Eli IRAWO: Sister Abiodu you have started oo, what did Eli do again? He collected money from the woman and handover what she bought to her. Abiodu and their Mother were surprised with Irawo sales; ABIODU: Something that worth N150 you sold it for N180 IRAWO: How will I know na? Things are cost now so I thought they have added money to it. You would have told me na, so assuming I sold it lesser than N150 you would have kept quiet MUM: You and your sister won't stop surprising me. Abeg start packing let's go home. They packed all the things they shaded and locked up the store. They were the first to closed from the market that day. Irawo was happy to be with his family again. He so much love the unity among them, he never knew he was an adopted child to the family as they treated him with much love. -- -- -- Reaching home, Mrs. Anneth prepared a special vegetable soup for her son who just returned from school. They all ate together and gisted thereafter. Irawo took permission from his mother to take a walk, and visit some friends down the street. The mother allowed him, granting him just an hour which he must keep to. He happily rushed out of the house, and found himself in the street. His plan was to meet up with his friends and discuss about any available job he can engaged himself with. Little did he know that he will meet a pretty rich damsel, that will give his life a U-turn... __________________________ Irawo was in haste to meet up with Eli, who was his best friend while in primary school, before he went to the boarding school. He was so focused on his movement but was carried away, when he saw a power bike that drove passed the road with full speed. His mind then was to have one someday. He was still having an imaginary picture of the power bike, when he mistakenly walked into a muddy water. The water splashed on a slim good looking young girl who was about 17-18yrs of age. She was really bittered as she stand still not knowing the best action to take; IRAWO: I'm really sorry dear GIRL: Really! Sorry my foot. You just spoil my day, how on earth can I go to the saloon like this? IRAWO: It was a mistake GIRL: Ohhh! Shut that trap you call mouth, What a disgusting fellow... IRAWO: I can clean it up **walking towards her to whip off the dirty water on her white trouser** GIRL: Back off! I don't like it, when filthy guys like you gets closer to me She sighed and went her way. Irawo was shocked with the embarrassment, he memorized the insultive words the girl used on him for almost 2 minutes before he became himself. I knew the girl was from a rich family, hence her rudeness. However, he hoped to apologise to her something. He continued his intended movement until he got to Eli's compound... . . He knew he was at fault but wasn't given the chance to make up for his mistake, instead she downgraded his personality by calling him a filthy guy. That was what pissed him off, and made him not to take cognizant of Eli's mother who was standing beside her shop at the entrance of the compound.... [b]EPISODE 7 Tope's mind was already made up, she could see herself leaving the country after the forth coming jamb examination. She knew even if she pass or fails the exam, she won't be schooling in Nigeria. She managed to succumbed to her Father's conditions, just to kill the Fire of her anger. Mr. Ajibade who is a prominent international business tycoon, regretted ever sending his only daughter abroad at a very tender age of 4. He wanted her to live a standard life, but not to hate her grassroot. His compunction at that very moment, was the decision of sending her abroad at first, and now he is looking for a possible means to keep her in the country. All the attempts adopted seems to be abortive, apart from the recent one. He believes his plan on letting her enrol jamb and fails it, will make her stay back as he has already promised her to return back to the states only if she pass the jamb examination. He didn't allow her to go for extra moral classes neither did he employ a private tutor. This is unlike him, because he is the kind of man who tries all means to ensure his daughter's success. Hence, he did all this to make her fail the examination woefully. -- -- -- -- Irawo got home some minutes late. He met his mother and sister, laughing outside and rushed down to know what the laughter and happiness was all about. Immediately he walked closer to them, they both kept quiet all of a sudden. His guilty conscience instantly made his heart to pound faster, he knew they weren't happy with him for coming back late; ABIODU: Oga mi welcome! IRAWO: I tried my possible best to walk fast but.... Something within him, tells him that he will meet up with her someday and apologise for what he did. He knew there were some good aspect of her even though she unveiled the bad part to him. Irawo held his neck chain which hasn't left his neck ever since he was born, said some prayers and closes his eyes. [b]EPISODE 8 Kiss daniel 'mama' was on full blast, as the DJ continued in his attempt to murder the club patrons with his hits after hits. It was just a few minutes past 4am and Tope knew it was time to go home, before her father finds out that she has gone out to the club with her friends named Tinu and Funke whose parent were also rich people like Tope's father. If not for the help of Mr. Ajani the gate man to Tope's house, she knew she wouldn't have been able to join her friends in the club that night. Tope looked over to the mini table placed in front of herself and her friends, actually they ordered for lot of Brandy's but she wasn't yet satisfied. She knew requesting for more will make her friends get pissed off hence she critically converged each and every bottle placed on the oval table. She noticed the bottle of baron she had ordered was still un-touched, she hastily went straight for it because that was all what she needed at that point in time. She has been having that lonely and aggressive attitude right from a tender age, due to the fact that she was taken care of by her Dad ever since she lost her mum at the age of 8 years. No one to share her feelings and thought with, because her Dad hardly had a one on one discussion with her as a mother would have done. She missed the love and care of a mother and grew up with a single Father. He knew Tope has gone out for clubbing again, and for the fact that he was angry made him closed the door with full force. The sound of the door was what woke her up, and she began to suspect that somebody must have been inside her room, and the only person it could be was her father. With the way she was sleeping and her clothes on the floor, she knew her Dad must have found out she went out the previous night, and he must be very angry at her for not obeying him. The only thing she could do at that moment was to supplicate for his forgiveness, which she knew won't come easily. As Tope was about going out to beseech her father for forgiveness, her father came back into the room. With his facial expression, Tope knew he was still very angry and boiling deep within; TOPE: *Stammering* Good morning Dad! MR. AJIBADE: I don't need your greeting, where did you went to yesterday night? TOPE: *Kneeling down* To___ to___to___ the club... I'm so sorry Dad, I promise it won't happen again. MR.
