A girl went to school and the teacher asked her "how old are you? she replied l don't, but l know that l'm half my mother's age. The teacher asked "how old is your mother? she said l don't know but l know that my dad is 5years older than my mother . The teacher asked "how old is your dad then? she said l don't know but l know that if we add our ages, the answer is 10% of a thousand. Now, how how old is the girl, her mum and dad?

Just Landing. The answer is/are... The girl's age is.................19 The Mother's age is...............38 And the father's age is...........43 All add up to become.............100 Explanation below let the girl's age be x let the mother's age be 2x(twice the girl's age) let the father's age be 2x+5(5 years older than the mother) therefore: x+2x+(2x+5)= 10/100 * 1000 (10% of one thousand) 3x+2x+5 = 100 5x+5 = 100 5x = 100-5 5x = 95 x = 95/5 x = 19 if x (girl's age) = 19, then, x+2x+(2x+5) = 19+(2*19)+(2*19)+5 19+38+(38+5) 19+38+43 = 100.
