I wonder why some ladies think that it’s entirely a guy’s responsibility to protect and keep the relationship going on! I think both partners have to play an equal role in maintaining it. It’s not a MUST that everything has to be done by a guy because he’s not the only one in the relationship.

If today your guy makes an appointment of meeting you then next time be the one to make it, If every time you make out with your dude he’s the one taking the lead then next time be the one in control and suggest to him what you want, If he calls on you today then next time be the one to call on him, If he texts you today then next time be the one to first text him. You don’t have to wait for your man to first do something then you also do it or take part in it. If there’s something you want and your guy is not working upon it then it’s your obligation to do it. If you have some suggestions for your relationship, utter them out. And when your guy is silent on you, don’t run into conclusions that “Maybe he dumped me, maybe I’m giving him hard time, maybe I’m too clingy, maybe he is busy caring about someone else, maybe he’s out there making out with someone else…” Just put in some effort and find out why he isn’t active to you. He might be having stressing issues, he might be hurting because of you, he might be broke, he might be sick, and he might be having troubles…

Put in some effort to maintain your relationship. It’s not only your guy’s role to keep the relationship on the right track. You also have to play your part. And always bear in your minds that your guy is not perfect in everything. He also has weaknesses, he needs to be corrected, advised and handled with extra care. ~
