.
Facts check:
1. There are 200 deities in ife kingdom(add the oni of ife
that's 201), Ogun(The god of iron) strikes within seven
days of invocation, Sango (The god of thunderstorm)
delivers judgement in the space of an hour. All these and
many more in yoruba land only! now let's proceed
2. There are over 100 gods and deities in igbo land,
amadioha like sango is the alusi(god) of thunderstorm
(you don’t wanna mess with these guys) , imo min is
the god/spirit of the river that punishes evil doer once
he/she tourches or uses water, Ala, chukwu are other
deities and gods that do not take scruffy scrounges!
Now before you start thinking sharia is the only means
of checkmating evil in the northern part of the country
read fact 3 below
3. According to research, there are well over 30 spirits/
gods/deities in the hausa kingdom, from kano to Kaduna
to katsina down to maiduguri.
Sarkin Aljan (husband of mai' iyali) is a black spirit and
the King of all spirits that inflicts chronic headache on
defaulters, Babban maza"the great among men"(the
husband of inna) is the no-nonsense spirit that uses
pestle to strike out the soul of an evil doer(incredible
right?),
Barigo(Son of babban maza) also devours souls of evil
doers like his father.
Now before you start thinking of calling me a
traditionalist or a fetish man let me do a brief
introduction of myself (well only the part that concerns
this article) ;
My full name is Eniola HABEEBULAH Abiodun (noticed
the one in block letters? that's my Islamic name), I'm a
devoted Muslim who believe In oneness of Allah, i have
an above-average knowledge of the quran, I did Christian
religion studies when i was in secondary school, what
else? i still attend fellowship once in a while... That's
enough for the religious background.
Now ladies and gentlemen brace yourselves for some
good news!
Governor Ayodele Fayose owns a house in Dubai
Senate Minority Leader and former Akwa-Ibom governor
has a plush home in Dubai linked to him,
Former First Lady, Patience Jonathan has three
properties in Dubai as well as several businesses,
Former Bauchi governor, Isa Yuguda has a property in
Abu Dhabi where he is currently hiding.
Former ‘Chief Servant’ of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu
has a property linked to him in Dubai.
Former Aviation minster, Femi Fani-Kayode has a
property linked to him in Dubai.(ffk is currently in EFCC's
net)
Former Minister of Transport Idris Umar also owns a
property in Dubai where he is currently hiding.
Former Minister of Niger Delta, Godsday Orubebe also
owns a property in Dubai.
Former Attorney General and minister of Justice,
Mohammed Bello Adoke owns a house in Abu Dhabi.
Former minister of state for finance, Bashir Yuguda who I
is currently on trial has two houses linked to him in Abu
Dhabi.
Former minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-
Madueke has several properties linked to her in the
UAE.
As if those are not enough, let's take a trip to london,
where Bishops Avenue, one of the wealthiest street in
the world is located, The
Street is a favourite with the
international ‘über-rich and famously known as the
billionaires row, not surprising then that over a quarter of
the road belongs to Nigerian, billionaires, business
tycoons, Oil rich magnates and Nigerian politicians,
known for buying 10 bedroom mansions for their
families, second and third for their mistresses (lucky
ladies!).
There is corruption behind several houses on one street.
They include a house bought by Nigeria’s late Abubakar
Audu, a former governor of Kogi state who went on the
run after he was charged by the Economic and Financial
Crimes Commission.
Nigerians are the biggest spenders in London, with
wealthy nationals forking out £250million on homes in
the city in the last three years!
Another interesting news is again that of the former
minister of Petroleum Resources Diezani Alison
Madueke, Madueke, according to sources admitted to
the owner ships of the huge sum of $700 million. “She
must have kept that very particular money in her aide’s
apartment,
because the unnamed aide is said to be one of the
trusted one among others”, our source stated.
It was further gathered that when this discovery was
reported to President Goodluck Jonathan , the president
felt so sad and disappointed, he immediately invited
Diezani Alison Madueke to his office for questioning and
rebuked her severely.
President Jonathan asked the Minister “for God’s sake
what are you doing with $700 million in your home?”
Mrs. Madueke retorted “I am keeping the money for
you”. How far this was true could not be double-checked.
Another news worth of note is that of the super rich
senator from Kogi state, sen Dino melaye, An
embarrassed Dino couldn’t explain the source of his
stupendous wealth when accosted by a reporter from at
a Social Media event which held in Lagos sometimes
around march this year.
Dino Melaye only avoided questions from Sahara
Reporters about his often flaunted controversial
luxury-acquisitions.
When asked how he came about the wealth, the only
answer he could Muter was “I stole it from you”.
Many politicians in Nigeria like Senator Dino Melaye
can’t explain their source of wealth.
No matter how sarcastic Dino melaye sounded, the truth
is that, he has actually spoken the truth, all the money
siphoned and stacked away in banks home andaway, all
the palace-like mansions, fleets of Exotic cars and
private jets, are all at the expense of all of us, yes the
joke is on us.
What pains me most is that after all these stealing spree
and day light Robbery of our Treasury, most of these
criminals walk Scot free in our society even with escorts
and when called to give account of their misdeeds they
start playing religious cards, ethnic cards, applying
gimmicks and pulling all kind of stunts on gullible
Nigerians who might have collected peanuts from them.
Admittedly no country is free from corruption, but the
methods and approach of tackling the monster is what
differ, for instance in USA once a public servant is tainted
with allegations of corruption the next thing is that such
person will resign, next is investigation and prosecution
(often times long jail terms) if found guilty.
In china, malaysia, indonesia, Thailand and many Asian
countries once you are found guilty of corruption,
there's no dodging it you are going to be executed, I
know such practice is not possible in Nigeria, that's the
reason we have to go back to the gods, use Nigeria
solution to solve Nigeria's problem.
If america had half of the gods we have in Nigeria i
believe they would have found a way to make them work
effectively, deploying ing the likes of sango and
amadioha to strike ISIS group, I'm sure china would have
set babban maza after her corrupt officials instead of
wasting time with execution.
Knowing Nigeria as a country that's doesn't appreciate
what it has until outsiders Come and take these things
and make them work effectively, we won't act no matter
what.
All these gods take sacrifices and offerings, goats, yams,
palm wine and even a whole Human being. They
shouldn't take these things for nothing, they should
work for it.
It's high time, we start a nation wide protest, a
revolution-like campaign that will make it mandatory for
public servants and politicians to start swearing before
the gods, we should have a National shrine where all
these gods will be kept for this purpose, and swearing
before the gods should be enshrined in our constitution.
Our politicians roll before alters in different churches,
lead congregations in our mosques, yet they still steal
our money like there's no tomorrow. They are all
hypocrites, they do not love us.
As we buy naija to grow naira let's patronize and make
the gods work too.
God bless Nigeria
