Episode 1 The day was hot, sunny and boring to make matters worse my battery was dying, you know PHCN and their birth right they like holding power, I logged in 2go to know wasup wiv my peeps and to take my mind off the issues of the day. Logging in I already had requests pouring in, with my battery level blinking I scurried like a ninja looking for my charger in hopes of charging somewhere else well I started interview nah **checking out profiles and viewing of dps ** I got to this Chick’s own, I remembered my manchi promising to share one babe like that ( I really hope he wasn’t pulling my legs there because I go kill am_).. so I added the girl sharp sharp her name is jasmine days rolled by , even weeks too we were chatting like people who’ve know each other since childhood, I started developing fondness for her, I called her often asking same questions over n over again , sometimes I’d call her to hear her say “hello” (oh mehn see jazz). severally she asked about my girlfriend, I told her that I was single just out of a relationship that turned sour. we kept chatting and laughing and even had long night calls, she had a good sense of humor too, at least made me laugh sometimes. we continued as friends till the day I asked her to be my girlfriend; of course she agreed, seemed she has been waiting for me to say it (girls sef they’d have better better feelings for you but them no go talk) I really wanted to meet her so…… i Then invited my girlfriend to the house for the first time. I went to pick her up from the junction leading directly to our house. wow she was pretty, well packaged, well my friends never understood why I love slim girls (neither do I) Jasmine: big head you’re waiting for me to flash you before you know I’m the one me: No, not really was stoned by your beauty (she giggles) Jasmine: so whassup? are you the only one at home? me: nope, my dad and my mum are around , my siblings too Jasmine: Jesus!! this boy wants to put me in trouble, you should av told me….wouldn’t ve turned up me: (grabbing by the hand) come jahre don’t worry my parents are cool, nothing to be afraid of (hmm see me dey give person morale, just like pastors would say “as I’m preaching to you I’m preaching to myself) Walking down to the house she turns tells me that she’s scared (as if she’s the only scared) knowing that my dad was around and I didn’t know how to introduce her (do I introduce her as my girlfriend to my parents “dad” especially). We reached the house the atmosphere was tense with my parents waiting to know who I brought home and I introduced her as my friend (well she wasn’t expecting me to say girlfriend, I would be skinned alive given our background).So my mum looking at me said ” young man she’s your visitor, go get something for her, you font expect me to goto the kitchen ; do you? (Knowing she wanted to talk to the girl alone) Well I prepared something for her while mum talked with her and asked her few questions, I came back with food which I cooked (did I tell you? actually I’m a good cook). we talked , joked and laughed for the remainder of the evening when twas late she stood n told mum she was leaving so i had to see her off we hugged briefly she boarded a taxi and left (nothing happened) Well she kept coming through (I started wondering if there was another special ingredient I used in cooking) ****************************** to be continued tell me what you feel about episode 1 @iamemmycece on twitter

LOVE PALAVA Episode 2 Well my story continues we spent several hours online, chatting and she would tell me she had fun and all that she would also chip in, telling me she wants to visit again. Lying down my bed, staring at the ceiling and my thoughts wandering i was lost in daydreams that i didn’t that my phone was ringing, only jolted out of it when my brother tapped me and made a gesture to screen of my phone letting me know that it was ringing looking at the caller’s name “Jasmine” i wasted no time, i picked the call (yeah, i wanted to hear her voice, thats the next best thing to day dreaming) Me: Hello Jasmine: Hi sweetie, how are you doing? Me: I’m fine dearie and you Jasmine:i’m okay now i’ve heard your voice Me:(oh, so the same wey dey worry me dey disturb you too) hmmmmm Jasmine: yes now you forgot me shey, didnt chat me up this morning to know how im faring Me:I miss you nau, you know i’m stuborn **laughs** Jasmine:So it’s like that Me:ah-ah nau, baby im just kidding Jasmine:mtchew!! anyway im on my way to your house wanted to know if you’re around Me: i am Jasmine:Till i get there then we’d settle our score Me: (as if there’s anything to settle) ok, you know your way in abi? or you need presidential escort i can arrange one Jasmine:Gerrawt [Line drop] ********************************* She comes in the living room looking sexy and all that (wow! this better than a daydream) i swear my eyes wanted to pop out of it’s socket, snapping out of it i offered her a chair, we got talking and laughing of course I served her lil snacks n soft drink amidst talking about how I missed her she stared at me for long, drop-dead silence she cooed as if we were having pillow talks “I LOVE YOU” I said same but she kept staring she cuts the silence jasmine: prove it different thoughts flooded my medulla oblongata, really I didn’t know how or what to do just then our neighbours child came rushing in looking for a partner to play with. I kept taking him out of the room coming back and looking at her, the neighbours child rushed in for the last time, I didn’t know what came over her she stood up yanked the boy up dropped him outside the door and closed the door thereby preventing further interruptions me:(wait, is this girl locking me up in my own house….. sorry father’s house) staring at me waiting for me to make a move she grew impatient, drew closer and kissed me ***************************************** to be continued feel free to add me up THANKS

Episode 3 well i was surprised i wouldn’t say i wasn’t and that wasn’t my first kiss either we broke the kiss seeing that mum was already close to the door. her eyes were still glistening with excitement. dusk drew near and she had to leave, i went to see her off, we couldn’t talk much coz she kept smiling at intervals. Later that night she came online, and started chatting we talked about several things including that day’s drama, she narrated how angry she got when that little boy kept interfering, and asked why i didnt make any move me: uhmmm i don’t know jasmine: what do you mean you dont know? you were scared abi? me: *lauhging out loud* i’m not a chicken nau, just wasn’t expecting tha we talked more and she reminded me she was leaving for school the next day jasmine: sweetie i’d be going be back to school tomorrow me: ehya, i’d miss you jasmine: abegi!! when are you coming back to school? me: i dont know yet, im not moving an inch till i get money jasmine: yeye boy, no kill my inlaws for me oh we laughed over it and that was all. *************** The following week i travelled to school in search of accomodation, been unable to find one i went to visit jasmine, when i got to her place we started talking about the accomodation ish jasmine: i think there are rooms still remaining in this lodge, why not get one here instead of running around (she grins) it will even be in our best interest coz we’ll get to see each other often (winks) me: well, lemme see how far nau (you know id love to see u everyday) I spent few hours with her and had to leave to see my friend. we walked down the road hand in hand and our eyes glistened and our faces glittered with smiles (you know the euphoria of our new found love) then we miraculously bumped into my friend popularly called “Oluwajonz” Oluwajonz: heeeeeyyyy!!! my man wasup you na? me: I dey oh , you nko? Oluwajonz: Nawa you oh, you just enter school nicodemusly you no come check weda your guy still dey alive me: no be so jahre, I was on my way to your lodge Oluwajonz: (staring at Jasmine) who be this? (whispering) na your new catch be this me: guy calm down oh (I did the introduction briefly and told her to go back) I narrated everything that was going to my friend Oluwajonz: o boy she wan tie you down be that me : how Oluwajonz: that lodge parole no dey make sense at all me: (feeling confused)me no know wetin I go do again

episode 4 my story continues against the advice of jonz my coursemate and friend and out of desperation and the love I had for her, I paid for the self con, I was later joined my two friends jide and kehinde from the city I lived in before I gained admission, they were freshmen and I was in my finals…well the whole palava stuff started when I introduced my girlfriend to jide me: hmmm dearie I want you to my brother and my friend jide , he’s my new roommate, jide meet my girlfriend jide: nice to meet you(both shakes hands, jide still held on) me: O boy this handshake don pass elbow oh (I said jokingly) well they discovered the were in same dept and same level and they grew close i started been sidelined discussions, it was funny again lol (I kept asking myself na who dis girl come dey date) it started with little misunderstandings and quarrels the funny aspect is that I got to apologize (just as the saying goes you annoy your wife you apologize, your wife annoys you, you still apologize). she started been secretive , discusses personal issues with jide before talking to me about it which puts me second place, I became jealous I mean when wouldn’t be (after all my God is a jealous God lol) jide is a cute guy of course ladies fell for his good looks where ever we went but my girlfriend falling for it? no that wasn’t part of the plan. already jide has three ladies in his life we’ve even lost track of who his girlfriend was. One hot afternoon after lectures I met my girlfriend at the school’s walkway I guess she was through with lectures too me: hey was up? jasmine: I’m fine (still frowning because of the last misunderstanding we had) me: jasmine cmon stopping making it look so obvious that we’re quarreling jasmine:(rolls her eyes) me: I’m hungry , I was just heading for the canteen, let’s go together na (coz i wanted to talk to her over lunch) Jasmine: I’m going home just get me takeaway Instead me: Nawa oh you won’t lose blood if you follow me (knowing that jide was home and she wanted to go home I decided to stall her) I begged her ( i can be really persuasive)and when she finally agreed we started walking down to the canteen, wanted to hold her hand and she refused her reason was she was shy of holding hands in public (abeg make una help me see this girl, wasn’t our first holding hands), well as we strolled down just at the entrance of the canteen I heard someone shout my name I spun round to see who it was (speak of the devil) twas jonz jonz: how far u nau? me: I dey jonz: that’s you wan go chop you no call your man, anyway no answer make we dey enter (see devil, who send this guy abeg) me: (feigning a smile) OK na we got inside and ate to our fill, didn’t have the chance to discuss anymore coz of jonz, we eating I paid and we left for the lodge On getting home, my room was neat, swept, mopped and all the utensils clean, which hasn’t happened in a long while……… to be continued

Episode 5 On entering the room , my gf was amazed Jasmine: it's a lie (turns to me) is Jesus coming today? this got me laughing, just then I remembered he told me earlier that his gf was coming so he wanted to prepare jasmine surprised by the new development started asking him what was happening Jide had to let the cat out of the bag Jide: well since you asked hmmmm my girlfriend is coming over this weekend so.........Jide wasn't through with what he was saying when she interrupted raining fire and brimestone, shouting at the top of her voice I lay on the bed watching the drama unfold smiling and laughing I had no other expression to use for that situation questions rising in my mind started having a two conversation with my mind "what's the meaning of this?" "why would she react in such a manner?" "is she in love with him?" so many questions I didn't have the answer to flashing of her bloodshot eye brought me back to the world, she filled with rage, she asked that Jide returned most of her things were using reluctantly we returned all and we returned em and as she tried leaving I held her by the the arm she just forced herself free from my grasp and she stormed out of the room (well some girls can vex for Africa sha, av learnt that when a lady is pissed off like that you let her be) i had many questions in my mind that kept bugging me, I felt the need to clarify things and try to get to the root of the matter. so in the cool of the evening I went to her room, and she wasn't around when i asked after her, the first roommate told me she went for night class (ha!! by this time?) the second roommate interrupted saying she packed few things and left and from the looks of things she wasn't coming back that night. my heart started racing (see as love dey shark me, if I be play boy this kain this no go dey disturb me) "did she really go for night class "where has she gone to "hmmmm has she started playing away match? TO BE CONTINUED

EPISODE 6 & 7 Walking back to my room, my mind wasn't at peace. I returned to my room tried reading but I couldn't I had her on my mind, now kehinde was back with girlfriend so everyone started advising me "just free that girl "guy fishes still remain for ocean "av kept it from you, but make I tell u the truth I hate that girl "you think say na only you she dey date? "see that girl no go night class and I go prove to you make we enter school Choi!!!! my head come full, at that last statement I decided to enter school, wore my shirt and we were on our way, we got to school and went from one hall to another looking for jasmine we searched all colleges and she was nowhere to be found Kai!!! Na me this girl use dey play ping pong I tried calling severally but she wasn't answering , when she picked I was already boiling with anger av never been that angry, I started shouting pouring out questions upon questions till she hung up "eh wait!!! na for my ear wey this girl cut call? I got infuriated the more I told my guys I was coming, I wanted to get card. As I was walking I made a short prayer that I was going to see her no matter what. I bought the card and was on my way home, av even lost hope of seeing her when a figure strolled as if I was certain she was the one I grabbed her hand, she turned round instantly she was shocked , I was even more shocked than she was, so she really went to a guy's place judging from where she catwalked from I started speed talking didn't wait for to say anything me: what's wrong with you? you just started acting like someone who has lost her mind, jasmine: please leave me alone, I just want to be left alone me: what do you mean by that? you're even acting like I did something wrong Jasmine: yes, you annoyed me me: how? Jasmine: you sat down laughing, you did even stand for me, even when your roommates threatened to slap me, see I don't want to create a scene just let me be I watched as she walked away, still surprised that my friends did something and she's transferring aggression to me "what's wrong with girl sef "do I go after her "what do I do I turned round to go home and saw one of my junior colleagues at my department he invited me to his lodge so I decided to honour the invitation, when I got there I met jasmine coming out from a room in the lodge, when she saw me she got infuriated and started going down the stairs ,I didn't know what got into me I started running after her n blocked her she pushed but remained unshaken she turn around n went up I followed slowly behind coincidentally she knew the guy that invited me over, she walked straight to his room, I didn't want to go in but my colleague who didn't witness the drama asked me why I was standing at the door and indulged me to come in. When I stepped in, I met her crying she looked up and trying to walk out but that wasn't possible I had already blocked her way and bolted the door, she punches but to no avail I stood there watching her, when all of a sudden as if she was possessed by an evil spirit she walked straight to the kitchen, and emerged with a knife TO BE CONTINUED

EPISODE 8 Just then the guys who were still confused about the whole drama grabbed her trying to restrain her from doing anything stupid, she kept shouting at the top of her voice telling them to ask me to leave. my guy called me aside and asked what was going on and when I was done with my explanation he heaved a sigh of disappointment and advised me saying that I should forget about the whole drama and rest as it was late. it was only then I realized that it was 11:15pm. Reluctantly I dragged myself home my roommates had tonnes of questions to ask me , I couldn't speak to anyone I just went straight to bed didn't even remember food, food ke? I was lost in thoughts... I was not feeble at heart (which makes me wonder if i was fed love portion lol). The next morning, i took my bath and went for lectures as usual like nothing happened, after lectures I returned home and bumped into her at the entrance, she was startled, "good morning" she managed to mutter...I replied sharply and walked straight to my room and starting chatting with my friends, since I needed to promote my blog, I sent a broadcast message to everyone including her, surprisingly she replied the message, and asked if I was busy with my phone "No" I replied soon she was at my door , I gave her the phone wondering what she needed it for After few mins she came back telling that had a call , I quickly checked my call log saw the twas my mum, I had stored her number with the name "babe" so a times when she calls it was her curious to know who had called me. well later that evening she called me out and knelt down, even if my heart was made of stone it melted. I quickly dragged her up tell not to kneel down Jasmine: No, I've wronged you in every possible way , don't if you'd forgive me? me: (after a long pause) its alright , av forgiven you she jumps up and hugged me
