episode 6
The first thing that registered on Lara's mind as she was forced to open her eyes was the terrible banging of her head. her head was aching beyond control, as her eyes opened, her environment spun crazily. why was everything spinning ? she felt like she had been running in circles for hours as her eyes rotated over and over. she closed her eyed to stop it from spinning, what is wrong with me ? she laughed but couldn't remember anything, surly she wasn't suffering from hangover because she didn't take any drink. well she couldn't remember, she forced her eyes to open again so she could see clearly but a bucket of water was poured on her face. she scream on her lungs as she struggle she couldn't move her legs or her arm, they seems to be tied to the chair she sat on. she continued screaming as the water socked all her dress, she opened her eyes as the water entered her eyes. her environment wasn't spinning again, the room was dark, really dark and it took her a moment to be able to adjust to the place. fear crept into her as she turned her head from side to side , trying to see who was in the room with her.
but she saw no one, cans of beer scattered all over the place and the room smelled of cigarette and alcohol. she had the urge to throw up and she knew that someone was with her in the room. she had always knew that someone was watching her and not seeing the person made her scared. who is there: she shouted as her voice could carry her. what on earth was she doing here? she was suppose to be at home sleeping in her bed, not in this stinking room tied up to a chair like Christmas cow. then she remembered! she had entered her room and was abducted from behind. the person had placed a white handkerchief on her nose! what had been used to drug her? chloroform?
alarm bell rang on her head.her hrt began to beat fast beyond control as she turned her head over and over again, who is there she shouted again. y are u scared of coming out she said forcefully, actually she was the one scared of coming to face her abductor.
the person standing behind her started laughing and the sound of foot step made it clear that he was near her. Lara almost had a panic attack as her heart beat out of control, but she pretended to remain cool. by the time u leave here that sharp mouth of urs will be tamed the voice said.
then the man appeared, never had Lara been more scared and the person before her made her breath stopped. the sight of the man was enough to put fear in her, he had a deep scar which ran from the middle of his brows to his nose cutting deeply into his mouth. kara had never seen anyone so dreadful, she wanted to ran for her life but she was tied to a chair.
do you still think am scared of coming out? the mans eyes ran over her wet dripping body and the fear in Lara went over board.
she started to struggle instantly and the chair started making sound, let me go she shouted , let me go.
where do you think you are, do you think this is ur father's mansion where u give orders? now sit still and shut up. the man looked like a beast waiting to eat up his catch at any slight provocation.
do you know who I am Lara said, am the governor's daughter let me go or you will regret it.
you won't leave to regret anything if u dont shut ur mouth the man said and brought out a gun from his dirty trouser. Lara went still instantly, good girl the man said and smiled.

The governor paced the room with his wife tagging alone, for the first time he agreed with his wife that the house was too big. it was taken the guard too long to check the whole house and since it wasn't yet day break he didn't want to raise a false alarm. Mrs banks had called all Lara's friends and none of them had mentioned she was with them, he knew they might be lying. if Lara wants to stay undercover they would lie to cover up for her, Mr banks lifted his head to look at his guards as they approach with sad faces.
miss bank is not in the house sir, but we saw this note on her bed, he produced a piece of paper containing phone number. the governor went pale and Mrs banks moved closer.
oh my God" what is happening to my child'
Tunji looked at his body guard and knew what that meant, his only child had been kidnapped. he was filled with anger and rage,who on earth will dare come into the governor house and kidnapped his child? and what did he have those security men for if they couldn't keep his house safe. he closed his eyes and breathed, first thing first, call the number he murmured.
the guard took out his phone and dialed the number putting it on loud speaker. the phone ran for a minute before rge person picked at the other end.
take the call out of the speaker mood and give it to the governor now. the bossy voice sounded, the governor looked around if someone was watching them.
pick the phone Mr banks cried;
Tunji hurriedly picked the phone and placed it against his ears , hello he said forcefully.
hello governor you are not sounding as confidently as u sounded at the press conference.

jack phone rang and he answered instantly.

Lara looked at the man before her and reasoned first it was her boyfriend who collected ten million naira to leave her and niw another two hundred and fifty million had being demanded on her head.
her anger came back with full force and she started shouting, someone help me, but the man gave her two slap and she started seeing stars and all she could do to retaliate was to spite at his face.
and that was a very big mistake Lara had ever done.
he angrily he held her throat almost choking , he dragged her in the dirt room and started beating her and for a second she thought was going to kill her.
