It is not news that most parents have a favourite child, who gets special treats and all. But an Ohio mom has taken this to a whole new level. Brittany Pilkington, 23, has confessed that she killed her three young sons over the last year to make her husband pay more attention to their daughter.
The truth behind the serial killings unraveled after Pilkington calmly called 911 to report 3-month-old Noah had stopped breathing on around 3 a.m., police said. The tot later died at a hospital.Pilkington had made a similarly stoic call in April for 4-year-old Gavin and again in July 2014 for 3-month-old Niall from her home in Bellefontaine, about 60 miles northwest of Columbus.Pilkington later told authorities she placed blankets over the heads of all her boys to suffocate them.
