JUST THINKING OUT LOUD

Some figures completely bursting my head this morning.
.
Nowadays, we see 'billions' brandished on the pages of the dailies and it's beginning to feel like a norm.
.
By way of putting this into proper perspective, let's just assume you (the average Nigerian worker) receive(s) N40,000 monthly...even though you & I know millions of Nigerians live below a dollar / day (which is a meager 6k per month). But please, let's just stick with the 40k monthly.
That means at the end of 2 years, we would have to 'dash' you 40k for you to have N1million - provided you don't touch your original earning at all. No transportation! No feeding! No recharge card! No house rent! NOTHING!!!
.
So to make N1billion, the average worker would have had to deal with 2000years of daily hustle + boring routines + nagging bosses + difficult colleagues and more.
.
Yes! Make no mistake.
40,000 x 12 months = 480,000
480,000 x 2000years = 960,000,000 (not up to a billion).
.
...& our politicians now loot in billions.
How did we get here as a nation ?? ...where politicians who steal in millions are now seen as 'petty thieves'?
.
...just my #RandomkrAzyThots this morning..

Good morning peepz

Lol... I remember a man once said "If your mate and younger ones are the leaders and you are there cursing them, that means you never wish to be one"... I asked why he thought so and he replied "You can also work towards being a thief like those politician and after being one, do you expect being praised?...those leaders also knew civilians are cursing them thats why they keep on being what you wanted them to be and they would never allow civilians there cause they believe that until people started cursing them, they won't be famous with that they will replace themself with their children"... If Politicians are thiefs...try to become one and see how easy it is... . . . But mah tell you...wehrey lawon mhen yen... me never spent up to 1billion since ah deh on earth...them deh there deh carry billions enter them account...Dearis God...

Nigerians are very ungreatful do you know why??? Its because we keep on lamenting about how much money we have lost and we are still ignoring d other blessing that we have received 1:- nigeria was the first country to ever get rid of ebola(america, liberia e.t.c are still suffering from it ) 2:-nigeria was the first country to minimise the spread of Hiv/Aids to almost 3%(america ,england e.t.c are still finding it hard to reduce it to that extent) 3:-nigeria is d only african country to have the highest amount of natural resourses and still we have not discovered many dat we still have 4:-nigeria is d only country that has ovey 160 million citisens and still has enough land and minerals for foreigners(china, india e.t.c still dont have enough for their ppl not to talk of foreigners) 5:- nigeria was one of the first african countries to eradicate bird flu 6:-nigeria is d only country where freedom is exercised to the fullest so since we are able to have all of these that even big countries cannot have cheaply why are we not satisfied we still keep on yellin at our government that they are looting. We focus on d money and we ignore d important things. Now tell me how will this country be better if we keep on backing d right tree, if we keep on focusing on money when there are more important things to focus on so @ everyone pls clear this thoughts of looting out of your head and focus and d important things @skookum @tenniebanson @paul4eva @adedayo @PIZZARO @wyse-one @crusherdaniels @treasure @SAINTKENZ @softie @fallancy @everybody should see this

my brother life is just not what you numerated above.,, life is far more than that.. so you think because nigeria is this and that ..then it justifies we nigerians getting poorer than the church rats ? huhm ?? even u sited that nigerian owns the highest number of natural resources..something that popped out this question from me that ..is d same natural resouces that that our leaders have looted both the monetary and raw benefits away ?? . my dear brother..life is all about Being SUCCESFULL as an individual..and i dont think you can be labelled *successfull* when MONEY is not involved.. the ultimate question begging for answers is how we r going to attain d ladder of success when we have criminals as our leaders.. criminals who pillage all our money ??? @Ferdinard

The thing that you fail to understand is that we all want to be sucessfull but d ppl are not doing what is right everybody wants their child/children to become doctors, lawyers, engineers e.t.c but nobody is willing to go into d ground to fish out dis natural resources also the occupations i.e farming, animal husbandry, botany e.t.c have been extremely degraded to d extent that even in universities they have little or no relevance and also d ppl studying it self are not happy dat they are doing it so if these natural resources are not being utilised dey will be left to waste and there is a saying that goes ''IF THE PURPOSE OF A THING IS NOT KNOWN ABUSE IS INEVITABLE '' these politicians do not know d usefulness of these things so they just sell it to make their own money. I am not saying that wat d politicians are doing is good but sucess does not lie on critisising d government it lso doesn't lie on recieving money from d government but it lies on one's ability to change himself why dont we start from you are you willing to change ur course from whatever it is to Mining would you love to be a miner in future i am pretty sure that your answer will be no these politicians cannot give wat dey dont have. They cant change and so they cant execute change. But u can change but you are not willing to execute it so now tell me WHO IS AT FAULT THE CITISENS?? OR D GOVERNMENT???
