Episode 2 & 3 . Continues.. i was so surprised,am i still dreaming or is this real? i pinched my laps under the desk,Ouch! it hurts.Am not dreaming. “this is my seat.there is a space there for you to sit”he said pointing to the back “oh,thank you”i said and went to sit at the back.i remembered my dream again and smiled.i kept staring at him till it was time for break. Everyone left the class except me,i felt so sad,”why is everyone not so good to me?”i asked myself with my eyes closed. “hey,why are you looking so sad”i heard the voice of the person that sent me away from his seat after a tap on my shoulder “since i stepped my feet into this class,i have been on my own,like i am not welcomed here”i said after raising my head.”oh sorry about that..my name is Godfrey Samuel and you are?”he pointed to me “Moses Faith” “nice to meet you”he said stretching his hand towards me for a shake.i shaked him and said “thank you” “you are welcome”he said and then the break was over…A man entered the class and we all greeted.”as you all know,this is a new school which started two weeks ago,prefects will be chosen from this class and i want you all to study hard,who knows,the new girl could be the head girl”all eyes were on me.since i had nothing to look at,i looked down and swallowed my spit without making a sound. The man left the class without introducing himself,maybe he did that two weeks ago.he sounded like the principal. A guy walked up to me,his name is jude,he made me feel welcomed..we introduced ourselves,played games and argued on some issues.he was so jovial to me,he showed me the pictures on his phone.not to long,it was closing time.i told him goodbye and left without wasting time. TO BE CONTINUED . Episode 3 Continues.. I didnt share my experience about my first day at secondary school with anyone. Weeks passed and i had one friend which was Jude. I and Godfrey became enemies because i was doing better than him in mathematics.we competed greatly and i was always making sure i surpass him. If i try to talk to him,he will ignore me so i ignored him too. Jude,on the other hand was always looking for a way to make me laugh hard.i easily smile even when am sad,i try to smile because i was told it makes one look younger and beautiful.At the end of the month,the prefects will be chosen,everyone is really working hard to be part of the first set of prefect in skyline schools. “Faith,how would you feel if you are the head girl and i am the head boy”Jude asked while we were gisting. “hmmm..it would be nice,just the right combination for two good friends”i kidded “do you mean you will be very happy” Jude said holding my hands I was so surprised,i didn’t know what to do,so i starred at him like some kind of dummy.Gently,he withdrew his hands from mine.”let me get something outside..be right back”he stood up and left.i starred at him as he left,feeling embarrassed,i shouldn’t have acted that way. The month came to an end,the prefects were chosen.I was the head girl,Jude,the head boy and Godfrey was chosen as the social prefect. After that day,I and Jude became so close that anywhere you find me,he is sure to be there.I had control over the prefects except Godfrey.he was my headache,whenever I call for meeting he will not attend.Anytime i get annoyed and have the mind of confronting this guy,Once i see him everything will change. It got to a stage i could not take it any more. “why were you not in the prefects meeting today?”i asked him when he was alone in the class “because you called for it”he replied sharply”am the head of prefect…” “so…”he cut in rudely”what are you going to do to me? Beat me? Report me? Punish me? Ehn?” Seriously,i had nothing else to say again.i was so confused. I had to ask him this simple question”what did i ever do to you that makes you always want to pick up a fight with me?” He couldnt say a word,i don’t understand…his face changed,why can’t he talk again “what is my offence?”i asked again “I HATE YOU” he said with a sad face and left . MY HERO Episode 4 & 5 . Continues.. Hate? Did he just say he hates me.i sat on one of the desk and started remembering the face of the guy i saw in my dream.i felt so bad,since i was born,a guy has never told me to my face that he hates me. “Girl,have been looking everywhere for you,what are you doing alone in the class when others are having fun outside?”Jude asked with his hand on my shoulder”Jude,i don’t know,am not in the mood to go outside..i want to be alone” “baby,why are you sad?”Jude said. I raised my head to look at him,baby? He hasn’t called me that before. “yes,baby…it wasnt a mistake Faith,i have been keeping this from you ever since,i should have told you before now but i am the shy type…since you came to this class,i had a crush on you,you are beautiful,intel ligent,different and wonderful.Faith,I love you”Jude said without even looking at my face,he doesn’t even want to know if i am happy,sad,annoyed or not. “Faith,please,don’t say No to what i am going to say unless it would break my heart..will you be my girlfriend” Yepa,yawa don gas “Jude,like i said i want to be alone”i managed to say to avoid replying.he nodded and left He said i should not say No,i don’t wana break his heart.Jude has been there for me when others even my hero were making jest of me. What am i going to do? I placed my head on the desk to invite sleep but a voice said to me “come to think of it,Jude is handsome,caring,intelligent..there is no crime saying Yes,you will get to love him. I don’t even know if that is the voice of God or the devil. The fun was over downstairs,everyone trooped in pairs,gisting while i pretended to be sleeping.”head girl,why you no show face downstairs?”Reginah asked “am not feeling too well but i will be fine.”i lied and resumed my pretence. Jude came afta few minutes”Faith,i heard you are not feeling fine..take this drug and water”he offered.i rejected at first but he kept forcing me to take the drug,soon,i saw some1 with another drug,guess who? It was Godfrey “Godfrey,what are you doing with that drug?ahbi you self they sick”Enoch asked. “Yes oh,but my own better pass person wey get belle for head boy”There was a loud laugh.No i can’t take this”stop it,Godfrey..i won’t take such from you anymore” “head girl,please don’t beat me because am not lieing”the students laughed more. I left the class with annoyance,i even flinged Jude’s hand when he was trying to stop me.I took permission and left the school. I didn’t go to school through out that week from wednesday to friday. The following week,i went to schóol and discovered that my class has been divided into three,one for Art,the other for commercial and the last for science students. Finally,i will be free from Godfrey and Jude.Jude is an art student,i am a commercial student and Godfrey is a science student. TO BE CONTINUED . Episode 5 Continues.. First term has come to an end,a new term has begun and a student has migrated to my department.Guess who? Godfrey,of course. When he was asked why he change his department,he said he just changed his mind. I guess i know why,he came to disturb me and make jest of me again. Godfrey sat at the front of me.he was so gentle that i didn’t notice his presence.well,that is the good part of it,Anytime we were given classwork,he would come to sit beside me and tell me to explain to him that he does not understand. is this a joke or something? Has he suddenly become dull? I don’t even give him face,i think it is pay back time.If he ask me question or try to interfere when am talking to my friends,i would just ignore him and he always felt unhappy when i do that.That is how it suppose to be. We were playing a game called truth and dare game. Godfrey and i were part of the game. The first question that landed on my hands is “who is your crush?” hmmmm,i have a crush on my hero before but it is all gone,what am i going to say? I can’t say i don’t have because i know these guys,they will make jest of me if i say i don’t. “well..”i said and cleared my throat.”my crush is my hero” “who is your hero?”the guy asked me again. “his name is…i don’t know his name,he saved my life once and i didn’t get a chance to know his name”i said. Godfrey was dared to tell his darkest secret “Am in love with a girl in this department” he said with a big grin. Whao,is he joking? In love with a girl? Well,it cnt be me,he said he hates me buh i just declared him my crush. hmmm,what is wrong with me self? “i call her miss posh,she is so special to me”he added “i dare u to peck her” a guy said. Continues.. “please,i wana ease myself”i said and left the class.i don’t want to see the girl he will peck,jealousy will so disturb me that i might change my dept or even school. When i came back,all eyes were on me.”what?”i asked when i couldn’t stand their stares. “Miss Posh”they all said “is this a joke or something?”i asked them I don’t even know if i show smile or frown,i was so surprised. Godfrey stood up from where he was sitting and came to the front of me.what am i going to do? I felt like running but leg no gree me run,this guy is not okay oh,he came so close to me and said “Miss Posh” he held my right hand,raised it nd pecked my back hand. Everyone screamed . He was really charming me but i pretended like it was nothing because of the way he treated me before then…i went to my seat,placed my head on the desk as usual and asked myself lots of questions.”am i really the miss posh,Godfrey talked about? What did he tell them in class,when i left? He said he hates me,does he really mean it? Oh my,what if he was playing a trick to make jest of me again? I can’t fall for it,i can’t and i won’t”. “Faith,we need to talk”Jude said.I stood up and followed him,while going,i turned to see Godfrey who was looking sad,i turned my face away and walked fast. “have you thought about what i asked you?…is it a yes?”Jude asked “Jude…””Faith,I love u,i can do anything for you,pls say Yes”he cut in sharply and knelt down. Why would he be kneeling for me? “stand up pls, Don’t let others meet you here like this”i said “not until u say Yes and tell me you love me” I can’t say I love a guy when i don’t.i don’t want any guy to deceive me so i better not deceive guys too. I thought and said “ok,i wil think about it and give you a reply tomorrow” “ok dear,just say Yes and i will take care of you”he stood up,gave me a quick kiss on my cheek and left. I don’t even know why it is very hard for me to have e----c feeling for this guy named Jude.i see him as a friend and nothing else. At night,Godfrey called me.How surprising,he asked questions like,have u eaten? Are you okay? Hope u are taking care of yourself? Then he said he meant what he said in class.After the call,i received a text from Godfrey “when you came,i started crushing on you but your relationship with Jude made me jealous to the extend that i told you the opposite of how i feel for you.I am in the commercial department because of you.I love you,i don’t want to be far from you.when you missed school for good three days,i missed you so badly and realised that i was in love with you.i couldn’t call because i knew i have offended you.i brought that drug for you but Jude was always ahead of me to impress you.Please forgive me.I love u and i want u to be my girl,i know u have crush on your hero but i don’t want to loose you.Goodnight ” Hmmm,he took his time to text all that to me.i don’t know whether to be happy or sad. Jude has been there for me when Godfrey wasn’t.he made jest of me and made me sad and now he is sorry. I dnt knw who to go for,Jude or Godfrey? TO BE CONTINUED . If i was to punish Godfrey,i would date Jude instead but my heart won’t let me do so.i can’t double date,i cannot date Jude and later date Godfrey.They were friends even if they stopped being friends because of me,i can’t have them both. my heart have to choose one. Am not in school to date any guy though but i love one of them. I consulted my elder sister who was a victim of love and she said “Faith,don’t let these guys deceive you and disturb your reason for going to school.Tell them you are not ready to have a boyfriend till your birthday,anyone that stays faithfully till that day,you can go ahead and say yes to him.” The following week,Jude was d first person i saw. “how was your night?”he asked “it was great,i slept well and you”i replied “great too,i am ready to take care of you,what is your reply? Pls,don’t make me sad”Jude said “ok Jude,i will date you on one condition”i said sitting at his front. “Anything for my angel,just say it”Jude said with confidence. “You just have to wait till my birthday before i say Yes to you because am not ready to date any guy til am 16″i said I looked into his eyes and saw disappointment,he was expecting me to ask for material things,as a rich guy,he go give me sharp sharp but am not after that. “Faith,there is nothing bad if you date now.you are not a baby anymore”Jude said “Yea,Jude i know.That is my condition” i said,stood up and backed him thinking he would say something but he left just like that. After the assembly,i was sitting alone when Godfrey came to sit beside me. “Head girl,why were you disturbing me in my dream?”he asked “i never knew i was,tell me about it?”i asked “we were having a good time together and then u asked me to hug u,when i did,u asked me to carry you,when i did that too,you asked me to kiss you but i refused” “hmmm,why did you refuse?”i asked him “because i wanted it to be for real not in the dream” he said and gave me a charming smile.after then we chatted,we got to know each other well.i learnt he was a flirt,he hasn’t loved any girl before but since i came he started getting so jealous whenever he sees me with a guy.After a long chat,he asked “Will you be my girlfriend?” I love Godfrey and i don’t wana loose him,what if i tell him to wait till my birthday and he leaves just like Jude did.I was so worried that i couldn’t say a word. . MY HERO Episode 8-10 . Continues.. i was so confused either to say Yes or tell him my condition but i had no choice,i need the right guy in my life to avoid heart break,so i said with confidence “Godfrey,i am nt ready to have a boyfriend till 16teen,can u wait 4 nine months by then i would be 16” i said and looked away thinking what Jude did would repeat itself. “Is that it?”he asked me “Yes,are u going to wait?”i said with a worried look “Sure,i will even if you ask me to wait 4 2years,i will because you are the only girl that has gotten the password to my heart”he said “thank you”i said with a smile. I told my sister about it and she said Godfrey was the right guy but i should not do anything e----c with him yet til i say Yes to him. I yielded to my sister advice. I and Godfrey became so close,we did almost everything together,students started calling me miss Posh,i didnt walk home alone,Godfrey was sure to follow me til i get to the gate of my house. We continued our competition in all subject,i made sure i surpass him. Jude,on the other hand was so jealous,he said he knew why i told him to wait that it was because i wanted to date Godfrey,he told me face to face that he was going to deal with Godfrey and i and he must have me by force,if not now,in the future. I knew Jude to be a good,cool and nice guy,i never knew he was just camouflaging to impress me. Ever since Jude threatened me,i started having nightmares,these nightmares made me sick,i couldn’t think straight in class. “Miss Posh,what is wrong with you? i know you to be the smiling type but you haven’t smiled since you came to school,why?”Godfrey asked with his hand on my shoulder “am not feeling too well,my head aches and am feeling cold” i said “oh,can you walk to the sick bay? or should i carry you?” Godfrey asked. Because i did not slap you in my dream when you carried me thats why you want to repeat it for real. “No,u can’t carry me” i rejected “i was just joking,follow me to the sick bay”he said holding my hand with a pleasing face. i followed him to the sick bay and he said”stay here,let me go and call the health prefect ” “ok,thanks”i said still sitting. he walked to the door and suddenly turned back,he came closer to me,raised my legs from the floor and placed it on the bed,he moved my back backwards to make me rest on my back and then removed the jacket he was putting on. what is he trying to do? i couldn’t say a word i was so motionless and looked like a lifeless person.he drew his face closer to mine and.. TO BE CONTINUED . Episode 9 he came so close,i could not resist his charming smiles,he brought his face closer to my ear and said “Take care of yourself,I Love U” it sounded so sweet in my ears,my lips could not move,i just smiled giving an I Love U too face.He smiled back,gave me his jacket to wear and left.I kept smiling till the health prefect came,gave me drugs and left. when it was closing,Godfrey followed me to the front of our gate and pleaded that i should come to school the next day unless he would fall ill in the process of thinking about me.”I will try”that was the only response i gave before we departed. The next day,Godfrey asked about my health.”am getting better but my head still aches” i lied,why won’t i lie when i needed more of his cares,he really cared yesterday. He felt the temperature of my forehead with his back hand.”hmmm,are u sure about that? your forehead temperature is normal”he said i have forgotten he is an ex-Science student. i turned my face away looking disappointed “do you still have a crush on your hero?”he asked me “Yes,actually,i should have told you this before now,You are my hero..”i paused for a while and looked at him,he had a 'how?' look on his face and i continued “i had seen u in my dream before i came to this school.You saved my life and that is why,You are my Hero” he smiled and said “Whao,i never knew i did.am sorry for all the bad things i did to you”he apologised. “it’s okay,it is in the past now “i said. Rehearsals time. Godfrey was in charge of dance and i was in charge of the school choir..Godfrey taught me how to dance few steps which made me like him more. as the school choir leader,i went upstairs to co-ordinate the choir,not up to five minutes,i heard there was a fight between Godfrey and Jude. The reason was because Godfrey snatched Jude’s babe…I was given the authority by the principal to punish them and i did,i gave them the right punishment irrespective of the love have for one of them. But,Guess What? that was the beginning of another problem. TO BE CONTINUED . All attention were drawn to us,i was so speechless and astonished.i could not smile or even do anything,i just stood there in amusement,he kissed me so fast and hugged me. I went to my mum and dad,who were worried about my behaviour since i came back yesterday. “Faith,my child,why have you been acting strange? you refused to talk to anyone since you came back yesterday,hope there is no problem?” my mother asked with a worried face. “and why are you home?” my dad addes to the questions before me. “Dad,Mum…some guys tried to rape me but i was rescued by Godfrey,my boyfriend and he was thoroughly beaten to the point of death…he is in the hospital now and he needs lots of blood which he lost” “That’s so kind of him to save your life.what are his parents doing about the situation? does he have a donor?” My father asked “Yes” i answered and was about to say more but i remained calm “who is the donor?” my mother asked after a few minute silence. “dad,mum..he saved my life..”Yes..”my mum said sharply “and it’s because of me he is in this condition” “so…don’t tell me you want to donate the blood,your blood” my dad said with a changed face “Yes dad,i am the donor” i said with my face down. “what about his family?” my mum asked “they don’t have any one with the Omni donor blood group and i do,i am O positive mum…please let me do this”i pleaded. “Faith,am sorry you can’t” my mum said “why mum? why? he saved my life,it is my turn to save his own life” i said with tears “Faith,am sorry,i kept this from you,You are an asthmatic patient but it was treated quickly when you were young that is why no body noticed.We gave you enough vitamins to supply you blood so you won’t run out of blood..am afraid if you donate your blood,you might not survive” my mum revealed “mum…dad…why did you hide this from me?” i became sad. “am sorry dear..”my mum apologised “so those times i had this strong cough,chest tightness and sometimes wheezing,was because am an asthmatic patient…But that won’t stop me from donating my blood for the one i love” i said and stood up. “Faith,do you want to die? don’t you love me,your mother,your dad and your sisters..don’t you? Episode 19 Just then,my kid sisters entered. “Aunty Faith,why are you crying?” Victoria asked. I couldn’t reply her,i kept staring at my beautiful little sister. “Sorry…if you cry again,i will cry too” Happiness said. I couldn’t stop the tears that was rolling from my eyes down to my cheeks then to my lips. Happiness started crying and Victoria followed suite. What if i die in the process of donating blood to Godfrey,Is this how my sisters will be crying for me? i don’t want to leave them,i Love them and i also Love Godfrey,I can’t let him die without doing anything,i will be an ingrate. He is my hero,in the dream and in real life,i gat to be his hero too. I pet my sisters to stop crying then i went to my room to continue my thinking then i decided to donate the blood without my parents knowledge because they will try to stop me again. I took alot of vitamin that day and slept for more than eight hours. The next morning,i secretly left the house leaving a note about my decision and the hospital i was going to. I headed to Benin,it was easy to locate the hospital.When i got to the hospital,i saw Joy sitting at the passage of the hospital. “hello sis” i greeted “hy Faith,am glad you came.Godfrey is sleeping in ward 102″she told me. “ok” I said and left. When i got inside the ward,i saw Godfrey lying on the bed,sleeping. The first thing i did was to peck him. I looked at his face and remembered everything we had together,The first time i saw him,how he hugged me,our first kiss,Romance,how he treated me in school,when i was ill,when i was alone and sad in class,when we were alone in the sick bay,all these memories made me want to keep him alive,want to sacrifice alot even my life for him and then i remembered my family. My tear glad secreted more tears that flooded my eyes,i poured out my heart through tears on Godfrey’s body.I didn’t notice he was awake until i heard his voice “why is my angel crying” “Obim” i called and kissed him. “You haven’t told me why you are crying,you know i hate to see your tears”he said “Godfrey,I Love You” i said. “Is that why you are crying? don’t worry i will get better for you but if i don’t and i die,then it’s for you..don’t risk your life for me,i am your hero,remember?” he said “Godfrey,you are my happiness,my heart,my Obim,i can’t let you die” i said “Don’t be sturbborn,i can’t let you die too”he said “ok” i said like have given up but i was still determined to donate my blood. He held my hands and said “please Faith,stay with me…i want to see your face when i wake up again” “Ok,i won’t leave you” i said with a smile and played with his hair till he slept off.The doctor came in to check on him “Doctor,is he going to be fine?” i asked “he is fine now but for only seven days because he is running out of blood…he was really injured on his legs and the legs are so weak” “Doctor,i will donate my blood” i said “ok,we have to run some tests on your blood” “can you take my blood here? he said i shouldn’t leave him” i told the doctor “You are Faith,right?” the doctor asked. “Yes,i am” i answered and looked at Godfrey . “He has been calling your name since he became conscious…”I smiled “Ok,i will take your blood here,be right back” the doctor said and left. Few minutes later,the doctor took my blood and left.In the evening,Joy came inside with a basket of food,drink and fruits. “Has he woken?” she asked “Yes,but now he is asleep” i answered “He hasn’t eaten since,i bought this food for him and i want you to feed him when he wakes” “ok,i will” i replied and kept staring at Godfrey as he slept like child. “I told my parents not to come because if they do and something bad happens to Godfrey,i will end up loosing three people because Godfrey is the first son and last born,he is their everything,They love him so much” “hmmmm…my parents are scared that i might die if i donate my blood because…” i suddenly stopped when the doctor entered,to hear what he was going to say. “Miss Faith,your blood is the perfect match for him but you can’t donate it because if you do,you might not survive.” “doctor,why?” Joy asked “Miss Faith is an asthmatic patient though it seems it was treated but it’s multiplying due to high blood pressure…miss Faith,have you been thinking lately?” The doctor asked “Yes,doc” i replied. “You can’t donate your blood until we treat your blood pressure and give you more vitamin to eat” “how many days is it going to take?” Joy asked “7-10 days,am not sure..just avoid thinking and we will give you drugs and enough vitamin to take”the doctor said and left. Episode 20 When Godfrey woke up the next day,i fed him with the food Joy bought and he ate it.after eating i gave him water,he drank it and then he smiled and said “faith,snap me and then snap us” i picked up my phone,snapped him and snapped the both of us.he was looking ok to me,i never knew something was going to happen next,something bad.we smiled,laughed,held hands,hugged,kissed and he drew my ears.”sing for me,faith…tomorrow is my birthday”Godfrey said. true…tomorrow,i didn’t forget but my mind wasn’t there.I sang the song i sang for him on his birthday,i danced for him and all he did was smile. “what will you give me on my birthday?”he asked “don’t worry dear…i will give you something special,just wait till tomorrow” “ok faith…i love you,i don’t want to leave you…i don’t want anything to separate us,i want us to be like this forever but not in this my condition” “I love you too,obim…don’t worry,your wants and wishes will come to pass.Just have Faith,Have me” i said and we laughed We had fun together that day,he placed my head on his laps and i fell asleep on it. The next day,i was woken by the movement of the person on the bed.he kept breathing so fast and moving upwards and down to the bed. I opened my eyes and saw that it was Godfrey.I ran to call the doctor,when the doctor came,he examined Godfrey and said “sorry miss…he is out of blood and you are not fit and ready to donate” “why? but you said seven days,four days left for him to live,right?” “miss,we approximately gave you the date” “He can’t die now…Take my blood” i said “no miss,you will not survive this” “Take my blood now” i shouted at the doctor he left to call the nurses for whatever they want to do for the blood transfusion. “Happy Birthday,Godfrey…This is my birthday present.My blood,My love,please survive for me” I said and kissed him. MY HERO Last Episodes 21 & 22 . Continues.. SEMI FINAL I saw myself in a place without form,it was dark and void.I was scared because i hate darkness,suddenly i saw light beneath where i was standing,so i looked down to see the source of the light and behold,i saw my lifeless body on the hospital bed,my parent had arrived with my sisters.They were shedding tears,then i saw a young man,he was looking healthy,he walked with his sister towards my body,he said with tears “Faith,am alive again,i survived because of you.Thank you,my heart belongs to you and you alone. I love you” I smiled and said “I love you too” my voice wasn’t audible to anyone even to my ears.I felt dumb and became so sad,tears rolled down my cheeks from my eyes,i sat on the dark surface and cried my eyes out. Suddenly,i heard a voice “my child,why are you crying?” i stood up and said “I want to be with Godfrey again,i want to be with my family,i want to wipe away their tears,i want to be alive again” i looked round to see who was talking to me but i saw no one. “You are not destined to die…You will be with Godfrey forever, not as his girlfriend but as his helper” “But why?…i don’t understand” “He is your hero,he is in this world to save your life and you are in this world to help him” “But we love each other so much” i told him “Yes,you love him and he loves you so much but you are not destined to be together as husband and wife” The voice said. i felt so sad and started thinking how my life would be without Godfrey around me.I can’t resist him,he is my weak spot,my happiness. my thought was cut short by a voice i heard beneath where i was standing “she is still alive,i know she is,my Faith is not dead,please don’t take her to the mortuary,please,believe me,she is alive,i can feel it in my heart” Godfrey said with tears to the doctor. FINALE EPISODE 22 Continues.. my body was then covered with clothe and Godfrey still beside me,shedding tears.It was a festival of tears because my mum,Happiness,Victoria,Aunty Charity and Joy were involved. I stayed in the dark shapeless and void place for hours before the voice came again “My daughter,don’t doubt what i told you…you can go now” I stood up and thanked the voice then i found myself in the hospital near my lifeless body . I entered my body and then i sneezed so loud twice,opened my eyes but it was dark.Suddenly,the clothe on my face was removed,the first person i saw was Godfrey. “She is alive,my love is alive” he announced my parent,Joy,my sisters came to where i was,they smiled “Aunty Faith,where did you go to?” my younger sister,Happiness asked “I went to heaven” i said jokingly and turned to Godfrey “Am glad you are alive and healthy”i said “am also glad you are alive again…thanks for the blood you gave me,it healed my injuries so fast” he said “That’s because you are my hero and i am your helper” i said with a sad face. “Faith,what’s wrong? why are you sounding strange?” Godfrey asked “That is why i am alive again because i agreed to be your helper and not your girlfriend or wife like you wanted” Godfrey couldn’t say anything,he sat on the chair beside the bed i was lying. He was just staring at me in confusion written on his face. The doctor and nurses were surprised i survived,they said i was so lucky and it was fate that made me come back alive. “You are back for a reason” one of the nurse said. Well,she is right,i am back to help my hero,that’s the only reason. When i and Godfrey were alone in the ward,he came close to me and held my hand.”How do you expect me to stop loving you? you are my love,my heart,the reason i am alive” he was not true when i cut in “yes the reason you are alive is because of me,to be my hero and not my boyfriend nor husband” “Was that what they told you?” Godfrey asked “Yes,the voice said we are not destined to be husband and wife” i said “my heart belongs to one person and that is you,Faith,I love you,i never stopped loving you and i will continue loving you” Godfrey said. “I Love You too,we are friends now,right” “not even a last kiss” he said I can’t say NO,if that is all he wanted.I smiled and wished him HAPPY BIRTHDAY then we kissed continuously until i received a slap on my lap. I jumped from my bed “for how long have i been sleeping” i asked my sister “Since you said goodnight to everyone last night and this is 9am and you haven’t woken up” “Geez,Oh my God…i thought i was in the university already” i said “for where? next week monday,you will be travelling to Benin for your post UTME,better pass so that your dream will come true” “i don’t want the bad ones to come to pass..”i said with a sign of happiness. Am glad,IT WAS ALL A DREAM.,i knelt down and prayed to God for protection and that i don’t experience any of the bad things i experienced in my dream. Then i received a call,it was Joy. “Hello Faith…There is a problem,my brother had an accident and he loss a lot of blood and now he needs a donor” “You don’t mean it” i said with astonishment. Am i still dreaming. “Which hospital is he now? where is he now?” i asked Joy “April fool…don’t tell me you drank my zobo,na so you love my brother?” she said “Ah,no be small thing oh” i said and we ended the conversation. .
