The announcement of the new Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja as we learnt has been
postponed due to certain internal security reasons.

The name of the new Vice Chancellor will be announced on Monday, 30th June, 2014.
Meanwhile, the Governing Council
of the institution has sent the Registrar, Alhaji Muhammad Bello Modibbo on a compulsory leave
as it was purported that he is openly canvassing for one of the candidates for the position of the VC.
