During your studies you will be continually dealing with other peoples ideas, hearing about them in lectures,reading their book, on websites(coolval22.com), on newspapers and so much more... It is important to indicate where this ideas come from as a courtesy to authors, failure to acknowledge the author when using his words is plagiarism and is a punishable offence¤
HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISM... Quote every source each time you use someone else's words!. If you use the exact words of someone else, put those words in quota marks and provide the details of the author in your work. Even if you summarise or paraphrase, indicate your source of information. Do not copy any work without the legal permission from the author, and when you copy make sure you reference the author in the work
