Episode 1 Please ma'am, I am here to see you..see me? Mrs Adams the vice principal academics replied,yes ma'am Diligent the assistant Head gal answered,as the VP gestures to her to sit. Ma'am since I came to these school two years ago, they haven't been any meaningful activity. The VP who seems to be getting angry quickly added, 'Diligent, can u go straight to the point please?' Okay ma'am, I thought of a way out and said, since these school is a well know governt school,why don't we create social clubs that facilitates social activities, a club that's going to be dominated by the teachers? Hmmmmm, the VP sighed, actually, I have been thinking about it, but it seems to always elude me, what do you think Diligent? Well ma'am, I have here with me a list of some social clubs my little mind can think of now, they include the Literary Debating and Dramatic Club, the Pave club..etc..seems you already have everything figured out, said the VP,come back tomorrow with the head girl, let's get started, and don't forget to put it in a written note too so I can pass it to the principal officially for approval and endorsement, seems your post aint a waste afterall, she smiles as Diligent giggles.. Diligent a little girl of 13, the first girl out of the family of 5children,a Js2 student of mountflourishjuniorate secondary school, who happens to be the assistant head girl, as she proves to her counterparts that success isn't really all about age or size,she tends to beat her mates academically, hated by the juniors for her strict nature, hated by her peers for her academic excellence,loved by a few seniors for her success story and lauded by her teachers for her effectiveness and brillancy.

Episode 2 The next day as planned, Diligent arrives the VP office as planned with Obi the head girl trotting sluggishly behind her,having handed the letter over to the VP,they were made to leave with the promise of getting back to them tomarrow on the assembly ground. Wednesday morning met Diligent still in bed tossing and turning lazily, 'Diligent',her mums calls out to her, Diligent having heard, ignores the call and resumes her sleep, she finally woke up 30mins later and discovered she was late, she quickly jumped out of the bed and prepares for school..skipping breakfast..she leaves the house. On getting to the school she discovered that she wasn't really late as she was able to beat them to the assembly ground,she sighs and inhales deeply,as she walks briefly to the podium, the VP who was making an announcement saw and beckoned to her to come up, Diligent with her little frame walks majestically to d podium amidst murmuring like..'Gosh! How I hate her..little devil..small rat..will u b quiet, d VP scolds them as they all hushed. We are going to create social clubs, these idea was proposed by Diligent,so immediately it is time for recess, quickly rush out to grab a bite and return to your various classes as we shall reschedule the time table soonest and pave out time for the club meetings, she bows slightly as Diligent takes over the presiding the assembly. The national anthem she calls out with an arrogant smirk on her face, they sang and marched in to their various classes..and subsequent defaulters were punished and flogged by the school prefects. During recess,the meeting was held as regards the clubs presidency chair,it was casted into votes, Diligent was among the few to be nominated, and thus it was casted into votes, just like barrack obama, Diligent won through popularity votes. Thus, little Diligent became a success story..

Episode 3 The promotional examination came and passed, and as usual, Diligent was able to beat her counterparts to it as she made it right to the top and got promoted to JS3. The term soon eluded,Diligent got strucked with an idea, since she was the president of the lit club,she decided to organize an interschool competition between her school and other schools in her environ.she waited for recess, as she soon found herself sitted in the usual club meeting, the motion was raised,everybody seems to be in support of it since the school was totally devoid of social activities as at then. The right authorities were met as the competition was approved,making Diligent a household name. Diligent got home,'Oh am hell bored, taking a walk aint gon be bad' she thought to herself,having walk a little, she decided to ply a local government school which seems quicker to her destination,on entering there, she met a group of guys,she shivers a little but continued walking..she hears a whistle as was typical of most guys when approaching a girl,but she seems to be overwhelmed by her thoughts as she continued walking..'Hey angel'she turns and sees a cute boy of about 15 starring deeply ap her,she ignores him, and continues walking..'Hello Diligent' he continues trying his luck,so you even know my name diligent replied, 'who doesn't know you cutie? You quiet popular you know' He continues.. Really? Diligent asked suddenly getting excited, yes dear, anyways, am emeke ny name, but my friends call me Emi, nice knowing u exist, diligent replied stretching out her hand for a handshake. Well, you seem to be in a haste he asked, actually I am, Diligent replied,anyways,I don't know when next I will be honoured to talk to you,can I have your nuumber? He asked..okay then,Diligent who was already feeling happy replied..0813576**** she calls out,okay dear am gonna run down your battery he replied and winks making her feel edgy. On getting home,she discovered her parents were back, thus spelling doom for her. 'Where are you coming from?' Her dad barked, I...I...diligents stutters as tears ran freely from her cheeks,its okay dear, I guess she was bored, her mum chipped in as she pacifies her dad..Diligent shook with the daggers her mum threw at her, she was raised in a strict but happy home..just then she sneaks into the house,but her mum stopped her as she quickly added, your dad said it shouldn't repeat itself again,yes mum,it won't, she replied and ran into the house, just then,her phone rang.

Uhmmmmm..... The beginning of "what should I call it"?.....its all started like a joke...

Episode 4 Hello, she picks,hello the voice at the other end replied,yes,who am I up to she asked, Hah,seems you have forgotten me, sorry Diligent replied, are you a human or an animal? Be out with it, I gat no time for flippacy,Diligent rudely added,..'That's rude u know',the voice still continues, anyways, its Emi, you gave me your number few mins ago, feeling suddenly happy, Oh! Sorry Emi, I ddnt know you were the one, its okay just watch your tongue next time not everybody have got my kinda patience, Emi replied, I will, she replied, so whatsup? He continues, I like you you know, and I want us to be good friends,okay Diligent replied, tell me more more about yourself Diligent added, am Emi like you already know,am 15 a JS3 student of Royal ambassadors college,he replied...'Hello, Diligent cuts in, can I call you back, my mum seems to be approaching my room, and I don't want her eavesdropping on me..okay?..okay,he replied and hanged up. 'Diligent',her mum calls out, yes mum she answers, where are you coming from? I went out for a walk, you know how boring it usually is down here, trust me mum, I didn't go anywere, I was around the neighbourhood, and thanks for saving my ass mum, I owe you one, when next these repeat itself,am gonna make sure I deal with you, you know what I can do, don't stretch my patience young lady..okay? Yes mum, you the best..now go fix dinner. The next day Emi called,they got talking, talked about many things over the phone and they seemed to be getting along really fast, Diligent was particularly happy because she liked him and the school he came from. Two weeks later,the competition strucked as many schools turned up enmasse,amongst them were two all boys school in the locality,Diligent made new friends, since her personality was really hard to resist to those that finds it appealing. Diligent, particularly took note of a young boy called stanley,she seem to have seeb the face somewere, but couldn't place were or when, it finally dawned on her that stanley was Emi's friend, immediately she saw him, she knew something changed in her,she approached him 'hey',she calls out, 'hello' he replies,I am Diligent, what's yours? I am stanley, but you can call me stan he replied shyly, 'Oh!,seems you the shy type,that's makes me the boss then,thanks for showing up,okay? What class are you, she asked, am in JS2, he replied, am in JS3 she said, that makes me your senior then, she giggles, that's fair enough replied Stan,can I have your number, he took over the convo. 'Oh sure,she calls it out,she takes her leave, as she keeps looking back and stealing glances at him, 'What was that'? Amanda her friend asked her, Oh wat, she replied startled, I saw you talking to that boy over there, 'Oh! Him? Its nothing, she lied, but deep down within her, she knew the moment she talkied with him,something changed in her,Diligent was inlove.

The competition turned out to be a huge success,when they closed, she was surprised to see stan trotting behind her,thus, plying her way,they got talking,and laughed over little things,but stan was still shy,she finally got to her destination,amidst smiles and stanley went his way too.. 'How was it?' Her mum intercepted her immediately she entered the house,'Oh! Mum,it was superb', that's nice,her mum replied, Go change your uniform then,she got inside, changed her uniform and immediately fell asleep, she woke up 3hours later amidst noise and laughter, her siblings were back, 'Oh! My God,why should they come back now? She groans out loudly, 'Oh baby, her kiddo greeted her, which of the cars were you about entering before I woke you up?, she asked playfully, as Diligent murdered her with her looks, Tonia her kiddo continued teasing her. When it was evening, Diligent finally woke up and thought about all that happened, and waited patiently for Stan's call. She waited till night, yet stan's call didn't come in, she started crying, 'Oh! It seems he doesn't like me, what's taking his time to call?' She stiffles a yawn and fell asleep. 'Hey cutie, I missed you, he engulfs her in a warm embrace,am sorry for showing up late in your life,he continues hugging her,as he tilted his head downward,as his head touches the tip of Diligent's nose,and tickles her,she giggles, 'Oh! Stan! Where have you been, had I known you existed,I would have reached the highest pinnacle just to be with you and ebclosed in your warm embrace,she tiptoes as she attepts to her her first kiss, he pushes his head forward,she closes her eyes and murmurred, 'Oh stan!...will u wake up from the bed you good for nothing daughter,her mum yells at her..'Oh, shit,i was dreaming all along, she thought,and what's so funny that's making you laugh while sleeping, her mum continues,and who the hell is stan? Huh! Mum, u scared the hell outta me,I was dreaming mum,, you were dreaming? Her mum asked looking at her suspiciously,'yes mum, I was. Okay, her mum continued, go fix breakfast and be fast about it, mum allow me to brush my teeth please,what's that smell? Her mum cuts in,oh! Its coming from your mouth, her mum teased her,as she frowns, up,up, smelly little girl, she continued, mum, you embarrassing me,diligent added, up young lady her mum roars,as she leaves the room, then the meaning of what happened dawned on her, she has been thing of stan, and her mum caught her right in the ast, 'Oh, why must I feel these way
