Our country's situation of recent is really making my heart bleed....
We all want changes in our lives .. Yh that's true... Change is the only constant thing on earth...
Just last year I was so happy and glad when someone talked about creating a great change in Nigeria.... Numerous changes were listed but I could only pick one, which is making N1 = $1.... But what did we get? Jeez!!! I can't believe the same $1 is now N350... What a great change!!!!

The most annoying part is that everything has become automatically expensive....
Pure water of N60 per bag 3weeks ago is now N120
Car parts are shocking... Just pray ur car doesn't need a part to change...
Traveling tickets are 3times their former prices
You can't proudly walk into the shopping mall without cross checking the price tag on the item
PHCN bill is even worst..... Bills is high, power usage is low... Please what are we paying for?
Over and over again I say to myself "THIS IS CHANGE BUT SURELY NOT THE CHANGE WE WANT"
Vicky is vexing **angry face**

i wouldn't say I understand economy analysis better, but with the little I heard of or know of I will share my view d current inflation is mandatory b4 any change can b don, naira most devalue, but d current increase in goods isn't d government fault, it among we, pure water isn't imported and d price is raising , most of our domestic goods are increase, fetching water at my Syd is #30 2 large bucket, tell me how dollar affect that d increase in dollar is a chance for we to focus more on domestic product, but all we could do is take d current situation as an advantage and u are blaming buhari well that my view, I know it will b better in d future but pls don't criticize our President he is a man not a god, I wish u were in his position and let c how well u will perform

Vicky i will like to correct you and other who thinks there is no change. Nigeria as a country was not curropt a day, it all started gradually. All our ambassadors of povert did not get curropted in a single day, it was a gradual process. And i like to let you know that your political socialistation is very poor. Buhari has been trying to put lots of things in other wish is not just going to take a day, all his trying to do is to trick foreign investors into nigeria because nigeria is almost living on nothin apart from petroleum and how many citizns are working in the refinaries( just few). We are complaining of unemployment. Do you think the nigerian goverment can provide all citizens with job\employement? No. Why is the answer no. The answer is no because nigeria is runing a federalism and also a capitalist econonomy and what is the aim of runing a capitalist system of economy. The purpose of runing a capitalist economy is to let the goverment provide is own quoto of economy/employment and to let the citizens have a sense of creativity and to also allow the coming in of foriegn investors. So tell me hw there would be lack of unemployment when there is job here and there. All mr president is trying to do is to let there be employment cause if there is employment here and ther like canada there wount be unemployemn, therefore all citizens will have money secondly nigeria has no money at hand when buhari took over all the money had already been embezzled by our former leaders (not jonathan regime only) and that is why he is fighting curroption here and there. Thirdly he has to depreciate naira currently,( for the main time) in other to encourage internal trade and discourage external trade because nigeria is poor but yet we are not patronising "made in nigeria product" rather we prefer to take our little money to patronise imported goods. So we should not expect magic from buhari because he is not a magician but someone like us. Remember there are times we also have some problems that requires us to start all over,so he is just trying to start a new begining for us. All he needs is TIME. Please let us be patient with him: remember the story of china, how the good president started just as buhari started and look at china of today. (Word economy) they are enjoyng it all because they tolerated heim. Remember lagos state when fashola entered as president.lots of complain about demolisations of houses but who is enjoyng it today? LAGOSIAns so please dont let us listen to "THEY SAY" let us all as elite also try to study our country's economy and put ourself in the position that how are we going to provide a solution, instead of critising up and down or listen to what does old men of grade 6 certificate are saying. May God help us and see nigeria through. Dont forget to also pray for nigeria coz prayer is the key

But buhari is not to be blamed. Cos nigeria is a corrupted country full of corrupted leaders. Xo d nation is corrupted and has been bad already b4 buhari is the president and his trying his best to eradicate and fight corruptions. Buhari is trying except we wan kill him. All we need now is praying. Hmmm. Don't stop praying ooo@pharm-vickymears

@pharm-vickymears am as angry as you are. The situation in the country is now terrible although I envisaged it to be so. I knew Buhari and his APC will do us no good and I never supported them for the onset. A friend even went as far as prophesying that Buhari would be the very first President whom the entire populace and Masses will protest against. All sectors of the economy are complaining bitterly. Public Servants are now being paid between 10th - 15th of the next month.

@stevenadeyemo you are right... we the citizens are the government..... talking about being in his position, no I can't cos am not dreaming of that.... and I didn't blame him.... @itmrabzeez read over the rant again... I didn't blame anyone for whatever is going on in Nigeria.... I only talked about the promise of making $1 =N1 which doesn't look promising over the recent happenings in the country.... yes there are changes but the past few weeks haven't been smiling in anyone recently... what we are facing now isn't the change we want... I don't live in the president's mind so I don't know what he is trying to do or what he is going to do... neither did I blame him for what ever is happening

well the present economic situation of Nigeria is not promising at all; in fact it's GLOOMY! The problem was created by dwindling price of oil and the concomitant increase in dollar exchange rate. But permit me to say that the actual cause of our present predicament is the 2016 budget which was term "Ambitious budget" by the senate president Senator Bukola Saraki.Yes its the ambitious budget that is causing uncalled hardship for every Nigeria both the manufacturers and the consumer because of outrageous hikes in taxs and VATs in order to realize the 6.08 trilions with only 23% to come from oil revenue. So in other not to be pushed out of business totally, majority of the Local manufactuurers and foreign investors have to double the price of their goods for the detriment of us that are at the recieving end.Thats my candid opinion and I stand to be corrected BUT BELIEVE ME, NOBODY IS FINDING IT EASY IN NIGERIA NOW.
