Episode 2 Samuel is my name,i graduated at the age of 16 and on the same year i headed to the university, i remembered my mother advicing me, my father was telling me how life in university was, though i am a youth pastor in the house of God, a vibrant youth indeed, i had decided to serve God all my life but i was also having the urge to experience life in university. though i never wanted to act out of the bible but i only wanted to see how things are going in a university. My Mother(Mary): Samuel My Son, You are our only lineage,you've graduated from secondary school and now you're heading to university, please walk on the teachings of the lord, abide on the rules and regulations of your parents, we've trained you up in such a way that you'll be able to stand on your own and proclaim the words of the lord,please my son, don't let your parents down, don't let God down and finally silver or gold we have none but we'll do our best for you. . to be continued

Epi 2b Samuel: Mom, trust me, don't forget am also a pastor,don't forget i do normally preach to my fellow youths and i will never go contrary to my preaching, i promise to make you proud. My Father(peter): You are right, i love your spirit,just stand on your vow and i believe you will make it, we will keep praying for you. . i had gotten admission in the university of benin, it was a happy way to end the year and i was very happy,the happiest man on earth. within a week in the new year i had started school in uniben, my first lecture was intresting,i had come across series of topics we were taught in secondary school. i was on my toes, answering any questions i had experienced or been taught. After lecture i took my books and bible and left,days turn into week and weeks into months, i was now been recognised by many of our classmates,some wants me to explain to them how the lecturer had got a particular answer, while others want me to explain another on a particular subject. . tbec

Epi 2c After explaining to many of them, i had to stop because i was getting tired but some persuaded me to explain to them of which i heed to their pleadings,after that, on my way going to my lodge a very beautiful damsel ran to me. precious: hello samuel,how you doing. i was wowed by her beauty, i never knew when i begin to stare at her lustfully, i was now imagining some unclean things in my heart. i was brought to reality with tap on my shoulders. precious: hey,why looking at me that way. samuel: how,what do you mean(i pretended) precious: am surprised, you got a holy bible with you and you are at the same time looking at me lustfully. I stared at the bible i was holding and smiled. Samuel: how do you know am staring at you lustfully,i was only trying to remember if i had seen this face b4. precious: really, but i know that true born again won't look a lady that way or are you a one sided christain. i was surprised by what she said, i never believed she will go 2 dat extent,my mind begin to judge me. .

Epi 3 It strange a whole youth pastor been a one sided christain. samuel: i know am not, so how may i help you. precious: okay, i hae a problem last night solving my mathematics, so could you help me solve them. samuel: may be next time, as you can see i need to rest, so am on my way home. precious: okay, if you don't mind can i visit you today. samuel: for what, i don't entertain female visitors. precious: well i still will advice you not to entertain them with your eyes!!! she handed me a small piece of paper and immediately left b4 i could glance into the paper. she only wrote her number with the name precious on it, i gave a little smile and watch as she catworked, my mind immediately started imagining how life will be with her, but on a second thought i shrugg it off, am a youth with a purpose, i am to concentrate on Gods Work and not that of the devil. i went home with the little piece of paper. .

Epi 3b I was lying on my bed when i had a soft knock on the door, i rose up,check my time, it was 4pm, am suppose to be in church by now, i took my bible, i heard the knock again. i went to the door and opened it, with my bible placed on my chest. loreta: hey samuel,where are you going? samuel: am off to church, am already late. loreta: why now, skip it now, may be some other time. samuel: no it impossible, i can't just skip the work of the lord, he is my fortress and salvation. loreta: am not advicing you not to serve him but why not take rest today. samuel: we'll talk some other time, may be when am back from church, but why not attend it with me. loreta: no i can't, don't go near there, we will discuss when you are back. please pray for me oh!!! . she hissed and went away, i ran as my legs could take me and within ten minutes i had arrived at the church. i sat down and listened to what the preacher was saying, i was suppose to be the one on the pulpit today but i was 1hour-20 minutes late.

Epi 4 I was seriously going back spiritually but i was determined to make amends. after church i went back to my lodge, as i fell on my bed,my phone rang, it was my MOTHER. . samuel: mom good evening my mother: my son how you doing samuel: am cool mom, how is dad? my mother: he is fine, i hope u are concentrating on your studies. samuel: yes mom, am doing great physically,spiritually and academically. mymother: thats good of you she hung the call i sat down well, studied my books and immediately it 10pm i pick my bible to study, just then someone opened my door, i had not locked it. samuel: hy loreta, is there any problem. loreta: not at all, i only wanted you to help me with my assignment. samuel: was that why you came into my room at this time of the day. loreta: is there a problem coming into ur room, at least i can keep you company and we can also study the bible together. samuel: hmmm, so have a seat, now where's your assignment. . Epi 4b I started solving it, i had solved num 1 to 4, but wasn't able to solve no 5. she had to bring her laptop, we started searching for the answer, i was lying onw my bed with the laptop, within three minutes she joined me. we were lying together,searching 4 the answeres together when suddenly she placed her hand on my back. i had nothing in mind,i was only willing to help, but never knew she had an ulterior move. she started caressing my back, i held her hand placed it on the bed and continue on my ultimate search for an answer to a more confusing answer of no5. she started again, this time i had heard enough, i sprang up with a strict voice, i ordered her to leave my room, she looked at me with mixed feelings and smiled, i was getting provoked, how dare she laugh when am angry. she picked up her laptop and books and left my room but b4 leaving she said something in igbo that kept me wondering all night. Epi 6b David laughs 4 some minutes, samuel was getting impatient but still wanted to knw what the answer will be. David: samuel wise up,i was once lile u,i had worshipped,preach the gospel and done a lot of things but since then christ had never come, i was getting tired of preaching that jesus christ is coming soon, but one day i decided to enjoy life outside christ a little and it was fun, samuel you are still very young, why not enjoy life first then may be when you get to 25yrs of age, you can then repent. Samuel: but do you think i will reach 25yrs of age,you knw life is so bad, you can never predict tomorrow,i might start enjoying the world 4 now but do you know what tomorrow may bring. David: That shows you are a coward,stop thinking about death, the bible also says that "we shall not die young",moreover the lord will mercy you because of your good days. Samuel:So what do i do? David: Get a girlfriend,party around,go clubbing and enjoy life, my bro life is too short to remain single,just tink abt dat.

Epi7 After saying these, Dave stood up and left, i was in crossroads,what do i do,how do i start,should i heed to his words or continue on my christain life. I took my bible and left, on getting home, i fell on my bed, trew my bible on the floor and started looking at it, i was now in deep thought, i picked it up, arrange it and put it into my "Ghana Must Go Bag" my mind adviced me against it, my bible was pleading with me. telling me not to betray it, my vow was now showing up in my head, i remembered telling God to give me admission immediately am through with secondary school. i had made a vow to serve him but here i am hidding my bible, i was not happy with what am doing but i just can't stop myself, i decided to go an excursion to the world, i wanted to party and enjoy life but only for three years, i was determined to return back to God after three years, at least am only going for excursions. i picked up my phone,dialed precious number, it rang for two times and on the third one she picked up. .

Epi 7b Precious: Hello who am i speaking with? samuel: guess who? precious: i can't guess, just tell me? samuel: it samuel precious: wow,sam,sam, how are u doing. samuel: am cool,will you mind attending club party with me. precious: wait, which samuel am i speaking with. samuel: the samuel you know, the one you gave your number. precious: jesus, is it samuel the pastor, what did you just said. samuel: am not a pastor, forget about the bible, it on vacation 4 now, so let go a party. precious: wow, thats nice, so when are we going and by what time. samuel: come to the front of the campus at exactly 10pm, i'll be waiting. samuel hung the call and let out a loud laugh. "Today is gonna be fun", he said to himself, just then it was like he saw a trance. "he saw a man with a bible, the man was on white,he made a statement which surprises sam, the man said "samuel take back your mantle, please take your mantle, you need it more than you need the world, samuel make hay while the sun shines".

Epi8 I was disturbed,who could that be, whatever it may be am not going back,am on excursion,am on survey,am on duty to check out the world,i wanted to know which one is fun. immediately it 10pm i immediately left,i was putting on a chinos, a packet shirt with a "alobam" face cap.i was indeed a bad boy. i got to the school gate at exactly 10:15pm. precious: what kept you long samuel:don't mind me, can we go now precious: hmmm where's your bible? samuel: don't forget so early, my bible is on vacation. precious: hmmm for how many days. samuel: you mean days, don't even try that, it is on three years vacation, check me out am i not cutter and handsome than before. precious: yes you are . they immediately set out, they boaded a taxi to a club party. it was fun that day, samuel had not felt this be4, so this was wat am missing, am happy dave came to my rescue. At 5am dey went back home, i had to sleep till 10am, missed lecture that day but i really wasn't bothered, i had to enjoy life in any possible ways i can. .

Epi 8b Months later the 1st semester were over, i came home with a good result but i knew i should have perform better if i had concentrated well on my studies. my mother and father were happy seeing me, they welcomed me home and adviced me to study more harder. on sunday i went to church along with my parents in our community, the church were happy to see me, the youths were seriously welcoming me. i was told to mount on the pulpit to preach the gospel, i had to give a flimsy excuse saying i needed a rest. The preaching of that day was "Have you lost your first love", it seems i was the one the preacher was talking to but i never wanted to hear nor listen, i kept on searching for beautiful girls in the parish until my eyes caugth one. she was indeed an atom of beauty, she was a new member, it was the 1st time am seeing her, i fixed my eyes on her body, staring at her from head to toe. suddenly she caught my look and smiled.

Eph 9 Just then the preacher said "have you lost your first love,then you must regain it today, if only you will give your life to christ, come back to him for tomorrow may be too late", that statement caught my attention, then the lady i had been staring at looked at me. my soul was troubled, why did she look at me, did she know i've lost my first love, the love of christ". After preaching, the youth preacher said, sis deborah come and conclude the prayer for us. i watched as the same girl stood up and walked majestically to the pulpit. she told us a pitiful story and told us to pray for forgiveness so God will grant us mercy and give us back our first love. suddenly i heard a voice say "samuel come and take bak ur mantle, you've lost ur 1st love,samuel you are a youth with a purpose, samuel,samuel amend thy ways for the night cometh when no man can amend it. i looked around,every1 were busy praying,no 1 heard d voice,i was shocked,but i was already on a mission too far to go back. . tbc

Epi9b At Least 3 Years isn't Dat much, after the 3yrs i'll come back home to christ. after church,as i was going home Deborah came forward,greeted me. Deborah:Bro samuel,am deborah, how are you doing. samuel:Am good and how do you know my name. Deborah: well, i had been expecting you in this church since the last five months, i heard you are a vibrant youth, a youth pastor with a zeal. samuel: really, thats nice and am also happy to meet a biblical deborah in you. Deborah: but am not happy bcus i never saw a biblical samuel in you, something in me tell me to give you this wosd. Samuel: Which world Deborah: just know that "THE DOOR IS STILL OPEN" Samuel: which door?
