TECNO Camon i2 is one the smartphones launched by TECNO alongside the Camon i2X and the iAir 2 plus. It joins the list of the new TECNO phones to feature the trending notched screen for the Indian Market.

Spec-wise, the Camon i2 stands tall with a 6.2 inch screen display with Notch, supported by a Full view display with 19:9 aspect ratio. Let’s find out more.

DESIGN & DISPLAY
The Camon i2 sports a polycarbonate plastic material design, making it very light to handle and operate. The dual camera is located at the top left corner, and the fingerprint scanner sitting in its usual position at the top center. The TECNO logo stands firmly at the middle. In thickness, it measures 8.5mm.

The front display houses a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, with a screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and a fuller 19:9 aspect ratio screen. It has an 88.16% screen-to-body ratio. The top and bottom bezels have been reduced.

HARDWARE & SOFTWARE
In the hardware department, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 chip supported by a quad-core processor built on the 12nm FinFET node. Graphics is handled by a IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU with Cortex-A53 CPU clocked up to 2.0GHz.

For multitasking, there is a decent 3GB of RAM space with an internal storage of 32GB upgradeable up to 128GB using a microSD card. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based on HiOS 4.1 customize UI.

CAMERA
Photography here is armed with a dual 13MP + 2MP rear shooter which supports Portrait Mode and Bokeh Effect. It has a quad LED flash as well. The front camera is equipped with a 16MP selfie shooter which supports AI Beauty Mode, Face ID and a dedicated flash.
